There may very well be better options, but my wife got these awhile ago for our garage and we had some extra lying around, so I tried sticking them on my ninebot S1.

They work great! They're super comfortable as pads for the legs and ankles, AND they're so big and cushy and sticky that they make good bumpers for the rest of the body. I even ripped some off as an experiment, and not only did it leave no residue, but it RESTUCK just as well the second time in a new spot.

EDIT: Also, as I recall the V10 has very high pedals. I started learning yesterday and my tire was mostly flat, and it was still hard to figure out how to get a good unsupported mount, but today after inflating my tire properly, which raised the pedals by like 2", it was like starting all over again.
I guess I just wanted to let you know: you're not crazy, learning this is hard, probably even harder for you because of your wheel, but you can do it and when you do you'll love that you have that V10.

There are actually several different turning techniques (any one of which can be used by itself, but which are not necessarily mutually exclusive), and sometimes different ones/combinations resonate better with different people. This is a pretty good quick summary of some of the basic ones: https://youtube.com/watch?v=xARhopySrtk (although I can think of at least one other way not included in that video).

I also highly recommend every new EUC rider get a set of cheap flat disc cones like these (https://amazon.com/dp/B01MT5KVFX/) and practice weaving through them. It sounds silly but it really works much better than just practicing turning at random.

I am your approximate weight and can say the v10f has plenty of power for hills for me, even when carrying things. It is pretty big. Don’t have a v8 but curious what the v8+ will be about

Mostly unrelated but just got a sweet pack for commuting on a v10f/onewheel and I love it. Can go from 8l capacity to 26L - lots of organization options. Nothing moves around when riding and it seems well distributed.

Ahh... I was trying to save you a couple coins on the tire change. But depending on your mechanical know-how it's really not a tough job. I got some tire changing spoons:
Core Tools CT108 Spoon Type Tire... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O8RWI6K?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
And they helped, a little more on the pricey side as far as spoons on Amazon, but they are super sturdy compared to the dozens of spoons that I read reviews that complained about them bending under pressure.
Another tip that helped me out immensely, was to slip the intertube over the rim and then inflate it slightly so it has enough tension to stay within the outside ridges of the rim, but still allow the tire to slip over top. I didn't see this trick in ANY videos/instructions, but my neighbor who used to ride competitive BMX told me about it and it was an extremely useful trick.
Either way good luck with your tire!

Wow that's perfect!

Now if only it would ship to the UK.... Thanks a bunch anyways, I'll start looking in that direction. Cheers!

Edit: found it

Do [these on Amazon](Demon Flexmeter Wrist Guards Double Sided, Large (Sold as Pair) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K8ORA06/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_JtQFDbPZF6PC5) look like the right ones? All the pictures I can find show the skid plate attached with velcro. Is there any way to tell if they’re the updated design?

Also, my sizing is right between Medium and Large according to the guide. Any advice on wether I should size up to Large or down to Medium?

Thanks for helping me better picture how supermaning could be pretty bad. Honestly, sounds a lot like high-siding. Thankfully I’ve never experienced that on a motorcycle (low-siding is waaaay more common), but I can definitely see how you’d want to take every precaution!

The one I got was this one from Amazon Canada and seems to be slightly different. Looking at mine with the Inmotion V8 (13.5kg), I think the weak point of the stand would be that pivot near the two arms that hold the wheel. When I look at pictures of the one you listed the part that I am talking about seems to be rigid which is a good thing given the extra weight of your wheel. I obviously can't say for sure but it seems like a good purchase :)

I was gonna link to it on amazon, but different amazon sellers have different price points, different colors, and different delivery times (as in some might takes weeks to arrive).

If you search for "bumper strip" they should come up along with other stuff that protect car bumpers and kiddies against table edges, but here's one random one, here's another, here's yet another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and one that apparently is marketed directly at euc owners but is essentially the same as all the others.

Perfect — thanks.

I have also started wearing these lightweight shin guards when riding, and they have made a big difference.

Just angle them inwards towards the wheel case and can’t feel them once they’re on.

IMO the TGS is too small.. even the large is a small. it must be made for a small asian person. I went with the S-One Lifer full face and love it.

As far as wrist guards go, IMO the Triple Eights are where its at.

I'm also getting my PPL and hoping to fly with an EUC. Even though it's unlikely, i'll be keeping once of these: https://www.amazon.com/iEvac-only-American-Certified-Smoke/dp/B00812AEDW/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=smoke+hoods&qid=1569241363&sr=8-2 handy and keeping the wheel in an asbestos fireproof bag while it's in the aircraft.

Fires while flying are no joke.
