My tips:

  1. Get inspired

  2. Get a DBA or fictitious business name (way cheaper than a full incorporation + legal fees) until you are cranking it

  3. If you need funding, avoid VCs and angels who want to join you as a co-Founder for a 50% equity stake.

  4. Register the trademark and brand on USPTO website.

  5. Get super close with your customers and have an early adopter program to get feedback.

Here’s a good website to walk you through creating a business model canvas.

It’s based on this book which is a great resource

Don't just throw more money at it --- ROI usually decreases as you increase scale.

There is no easy answer --- it depends on your images, your copy, your demographics, your landing page, your leadgen, your funnel, your offer, your branding, etc.

Innovative idea. Doesn't this fall under the category of social enterprises instead of a startup?

Also, maybe you could give us more information about your incubator/accelerator program?
