https://www.biddytarot.com/ is an excellent place to start. As far as books go, I'd say my favorite by far is the holistic tarot, I've been reading for two years and still pull something new from it every time.

I can't come up with much for all the other world religions atm but I can recommend The Forbidden Universe for some insight into western magic/mysticism. While it's not technically a 'history' book for western mysticism, I thought it contained a pretty decent account of historical origins of Hermetic influence into modern age.
