Yes. There's an excellent book on the matter by Naval War College prof SCM Paine that I'd highly recommend, The Wars for Asia, 1911-1949. There's a lot of history in there that most Americans don't know.
A related book from the same author covering some of the same ground but with a broader focus is The Japanese Empire: Grand Strategy from the Meiji Restoration to the Pacific War. The latter's a good read for an Eve player because it's a good primer on the whole "what is grand strategy" question that's good for would-be professionals (Naval War College, remember) and interested amateurs alike. I can't recommend both books highly enough, they're simply excellent and cover the material without ever getting bogged down in minutiae.
http://www.amazon.com/Introduction-Psychology-9th-James-Kalat/dp/0495810762
Basic Psychology. The blurb says:
"James Kalat's best-selling INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY does far more than cover major theories and studies; it encourages you to question the information and ask yourself, "How was this conclusion reached?" and "Does the evidence really support it?" In this student-praised text, Kalat challenges your preconceptions about psychology to help you become a more informed consumer of information not only during your college experience but also as you venture into your post-college life. The bonus section about the psychology of daily quests in MMOs will also be of particular interest to gullible neckbeards! With his humorous writing style and hands-on "Try It Yourself" exercises, Kalat puts you at ease and gets you involved with what you are studying so that you can succeed in your course."
I run 5 Monitors off 3 GTX 960s in triple SLi. I have an 8 core AMD Black with 16 gigs of ram and 1k Watt Pwr Supply.. I can run all five monitors and have been able to open 16 accounts at one time in window mode.. Honestly.. I have less then $1200 dollars in the hole build.. Refurb motherboard.. 80 for pwr supple.. 140 for ram.. refurb Graphics cards for 120 a piece and my cooler was like 100..
All my monitors are 1080p except for my middle one which i like to have more space. I would go for more resolution over the bells and whistles.. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V8FAWC2/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2ODH130YVJKFE&coliid=I3QVXUDZIF6G1X
For example that monitor isnt anything to jerk it over.. but it can produce a good quality pic and give you more screen space which makes this game so much better.. the 2560 has been the best change that I have made.. Then spend the money in the computer so you can run more easier and longer..
The 960s I run are prefect price, good life span, and I liquid cooled them for the fashionable look. But for the price spend the money on the gpus first and foremost and build something that will give you 5 more years.. then do the 4k thing later when there is more content around..
Just my 2 Cents..
I would love to buy actual books filled with art from the game and perhaps even a densely detailed almost fluff RPG like core book filled with minutia and detail from the EVE Universe, races, customs, maps, diagrams, not just ships and space constellations.
I fork good money a year on fluffy books like the ones say, Bethesda made for their ELDER SCROLLS world
If CCP had something like that, perhaps partenered with a print of demand service to cheapen cost I would buy it off their site, love fully stocked books that have images, stories, maps, etc. One for EVE would be awesome besides the ones they have out already, Art of New Eden and Source
Excellent build. Best of luck on monitors. Consider getting two, for sure. That way you can play eve and do work, facebook, gmail, reddit at the same time, more efficiently, and without alt tabbing every 2 seconds.
Also get a dual monitor desk mount it creates a ton of desk space for paperwork's sake.
Sure, it's way easier and cheaper than you think. First, pick up an Arduino Leonardo. It's $9.99 from Amazon US This is the microcontroller that will plug into USB. Use the Leonardo as it's the easiest to set up as a keyboard. Also order a breadboard and some resistors, a simple beginning electronics kit would be good too and give you lots of projects if you have a bit extra to spend.
Once your Arduino arrives follow the basic button tutorial. And learn how to upload code to the Arduino using the IDE.
Once you have a simple button circuit working (a button switches on LED light for example), take a look at the [Keyboard library.] (https://www.arduino.cc/en/Reference/MouseKeyboard) You should now be able to get your button to send a letter to your PC which is identical to pressing a keyboard button.
Congrats you have built a custom interface. Just add more buttons and a nice box, maybe lights if you want to get fancy.
Here you go, can only use 1 ever per account so choose wisely

Honestly it's a great deal, the Plex alone covers the pack at this price.
If you use amazon and have never used "amazon cash" you xan get a $10 promo credit for loading your Amazon account with cash at a local retailer.
https://www.amazon.com/b?node=14583169011
I handed the lady at cvs $20, by the time I got to my car my amazon account had a $20 gift card.
The Promo credit only works on items sold by Amazon, which the linked pack is.
So you get a $10 discount, pay $14.99 and have $5 in Amazon credit left.
I use Amazon all the time (infant, autos ships my ass {well her ass I guess} diapers and whipes each month) so I know I'll use the remaining gc balance.
At 15 this is an amazing deal.
After many years of buying headsets I finally found the best setup that is so comfortable for extended play.
First you will need one of these splitters possibly. I also like this cord extender.
And buy following:
Now the range is not that great ~10 yards or so (trough a wall), I could probably get a better range with a different headset/transceiver combo but that's what I use, and it works fine for me (I do wish the range was a tad bit better).
When I step out to my kitchen (porch to smoke) to make me a drink I just put my bluetooth headset on. No hastles with battery because when I come back to my computer I just put my regular headsets on and plug in my bluetooth headset to charge.
Total cost $140. (including a $10 standalone microphone)
For a first podcast i though it was really good content. Good back and forth between host. Really enjoyed the pod cast.
The first thing I would focus on is audio quality
Proto you have a great mic but you are too close or you pop filter is not working.
Kira(spelling?) she needs a better mic the quality difference is very distracting.

There are few options for pod-casting mics.
Lasting thing with the audio bump up Kira's volume she was a little bit quieter than Proto, not big but noticeable.
In the podcast description please put your social media info in it, don't forget to put guest info in as well.
Time stamps for sections are nice too but I know they are annoying
I might of missed it, but an RSS feed for pod cast apps would be nice.
Well it depends how creative you want to be.
When I lived with my parents (still do) they have these rafters outside which are perfect for doing pull-ups and pushups on. I have adjustable straps to change the height (which should come with most).
When I used to lifeguard I would just hang them on a nearby tree during our mandatory PT break.
When I was in college I would just no shame hang them at the gym in between the pully tower with rows / tricep extensions at the end.
Right now My garage door has an extra half foot on the outside of it and I hang it on my Pull-Up bar on the metal bar that crossed the U kinda further away from the door sill so you don’t bump into the doorsill. And right now it’s perfect for me, my knees miss the floor by a few inches and I can do L sit pull ups fine. As in with enough slack to let the rings rotate without pressure from the rope.
If you’re looking to do pushups with it you should easily be able to hang it on your pullup bar. I’d suggest the chin up section of it so you don’t bump into the door and so the straps don’t move sideways, with your feet elevated on like a chair and the straps at the same height or below for that upper chest activation.
You should have enough room for dips with bent knees with that setup which is a nice step up from push ups.
my computer is currently dying (i think) but it's ok i was planning on updating the cup and stuff but if anyone has some advice i'd appreciate it, currently going to go from a phenom II to an i7 and upgrading my tiny ssd to a 500gb because i'm pretty sure half of my issues are coming from low disk space.
but yeah advice and stuff is welcome as i struggle to find stuff to delete from my computer ;=;
In the headphones community most people agree the HyperX Cloud's are the only headset worth buying, and the best thing to do is buy a pair of nice headphones, like sennheisers and add a mic like the modmic or zalman clip.
