14. Logitech G920 Dual-Motor Feedback Driving Force Racing Wheel with Responsive Pedals for Xbox One - Black

    Features:
  • Works on Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC - Driving force is designed for the latest racing game titles for your Xbox Series X or Xbox One console. Add driving force to your controller selection and you may never want to race with a regular controller again. G920 driving force pro also works on PC with select titles
  • Realistic force feedback - G920 driving force is engineered with dual-motor force feedback that is designed to realistically simulate the feel of your car and tires on every turn and type of terrain so you can sense under- or oversteer, drifting and more. With helical gears modeled after the gearing used in car transmissions, you get exceptionally smooth, quiet and precise steering action. Anti-backlash tensioning keeps the wheel and pedals tight, maximizing your control. Rotation: 900 degrees lock-to-lock. Hall-effect steering sensor
  • Quality construction - With solid steel ball bearings in the wheel shaft and stainless steel paddle shifters and pedals, driving force is built for precision racing and long-lasting reliability. The wheel is covered in high-quality, hand-stitched leather, giving it the look and feel of a high-performance racecar wheel and giving you a more comfortable, durable experience. Durable built-in clamps and bolt points allow driving force to be mounted securely to a table or racing rig to minimize shifting or wobbling during aggressive maneuvers
  • Easy-access game controls - The D-Pad and console buttons are conveniently located on the wheel for seamless access to racing controls, while the semi-automatic paddle shifters help you execute smooth, accurate gear transitions on hairpin turns and straightaways. Glass-filled nylon mounting clamps
  • Responsive pedal unit - The G920 comes with a separate floor pedal unit that enables a more realistic body position for driving, so you can comfortably brake, accelerate and change gears like you would in an actual car. The nonlinear brake pedal mimics the performance of pressure-sensitive brake systems for a more responsive, accurate braking feel
  • Pedals: Height: 167 millmeter (6.57 inches), Width: 428.5 millimeter (16.87 inches), Depth: 311 millimeter(12.24 inches); Wheel: Height: 270 millimeter (10.63 inches), Width: 260 millimeter (10.24 inches), Depth: 278 millimeter (10.94 inches)

Now to talk about the Race Cockpit.

OpenWheeler GEN2 is a really good one and is supported on almost if not any Race Wheel (Including Fanatec). However if you use a Fanatec dont use a Direct Drive Wheel on this cockpit (I doubt you would get one this early into Sim Racing however for future reference) This one goes for around 300-400 or so USD. Was not able to find a good review on this one. (Its a good cockpit though but is also a little more wobbly than the one below)

Next Level Racing F1 & GT Style Cockpit is one I personally use and love. It is the same as the other and supports all wheels (Almost) and is adjustable for roughly 499 USD. (And is F1 & GT style meaning it can switch between the two) Review

This is also like the wheel purely based on personal preference due to you being able to go out and make a more sturdy cockpit (That supports Direct Drive Wheels) for roughly 200-400 USD (Including a seat) however you would have to DIY it and not everyone is comfortable doing so.

For one not to be pushy but you probably should care about force feedback as it does certainly give you an idea of traction and just the feel of the car. My force feedback on my wheel cut off when I first got it randomly which had to be fixed by restating the game but anyways with the force feedback I felt lost. I'd reccomend getting force feedback wheel, they're about 120 pounds on EBay for a starter one which are pretty good still.

Anyways sorry that long argument but I think you would need a cronus device which is like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00IBUGE6A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_iouKBb3GHJV8G

It's fifty pounds in my country which could mean you save some money on rather than buying a new wheel but the difference would probably be quite little. Also if your wheel on 360 is Force Feedback enabled then the cronus device from what I've heard won't replicate that. Same with PS3 to Xbox one wheels such as Logitech G27 or G25.

If you're going to go buy a cronus device at least look at some ebay force feedback wheels, trust me once you go to it, you can't go back.

Yes, F1 2019 is perfectly fine for beginners as it's the perfect combination of Sim and Arcade game.

If you can afford it, pick up the Thrustmaster T150. It's a perfect beginner wheel and has everything you need such as pretty decent FFB and paddle shifters. I used it myself for a while and I'll always stand by it.

Awesome man, I got the t300 rs recently as well. Loving it so far, amazing piece of equipment :)

The stand I went with is the Apiga. I really like it because it doesn't have a bar in between your legs (like wheelstandpro does) and it folds up really easily for storage.

(https://www.amazon.com/APIGA-Foldable-Racing-Simulator-Stand-gearshift/dp/B00XBPYUIY/ref=pd_sim_147_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00XBPYUIY&pd_rd_r=YCRQ4VWJGC5RX4CKA8TT&pd_rd_w=BhsLe&pd_rd_wg=mzkSC&psc=1&refRID=YCRQ4VWJGC5RX4CKA8TT)

Let me know if you have any other questions!

ok thanks, so if i were to buy a new gpu (such as this, cheapest one on Amazon and I only really care about running this game so don't want to spend £100+)
and to get it installed in my computer, would it then run? would that be all I need to do? thanks. or would a better gpu be needed?

[UK Amazon] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071HZ1VT1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2x3gDb58QWEEY)

I don’t own one yet but seriously considering it. You can upgrade them to add a seat also, great for people who aren’t ready to jump in for the full expensive set up just yet.

Edit- I now own one! GT Omega sell their ex display models for £70 on ebay.

I have a Logitech G29, the clamps work really well for a table. The only thing you have to make sure is that the table is sturdy enough, if it's too light, it will move a lot, and the vibrations are going to be a PIA. Also: if you don't have carpet, your pedals are going to move a lot.

I used to have it on an old table that was really fragile so I bought this stand and it works great, the best thing is that it folds, so, once you are done racing, you just fold it and put it away.

EDIT: I didn't read the word "foldable" in your comment so I just gave you a redundant opinion. Sorry.

If you want to enjoy your wheel, you have to spend at least 100€. Search for the Logitech Driving Force GT (link) or the Thrustmaster T150 (link). The are relatively cheap wheels, but are quite good.

But be careful with the Thrustmaster T150. It is known that the attachment screw can break really fast.

OK by your description force feedback sounds like something I definitely want then.

Is this t150 applicable its only around £30 more so its not bank bustingly terrible.

I use one of these, is great for either pc or console racing however it is low to the ground so if you have a relatively high tv to look up at you should get a stand to elevate the cockpit, or what I did was get a stand alone monitor stand that puts the screen much closer and at the perfect height.

https://smile.amazon.com/Openwheeler-Cockpit-Logitech-Thrustmaster-controllers-included/dp/B00ORLVWNM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1502471418&sr=8-1&keywords=openwheeler

It being low to the ground does make it feel very F1-y :)

I just mounted the 924 seat rails to the plywood and then attached the wheel/pedal stand to the plywood as well.

This is the stand I bought I think: https://www.amazon.com/Wheel-Stand-Pro-Steering-included/dp/B004AYMCRG/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=Steering+wheel+and+pedal+stand&qid=1562810872&s=gateway&sr=8-4

Works great!

Price on Amazon for the TMX has been varying from £119 to £149 over the past few days, this is your best option for the price bracket and is what I will be purchasing shortly!

It's a £40 wheel and pedal set, and like I said I think it's intended for Lorry Sims (which it works well for) so it's quite a large wheel. It just doesn't feel right, you have to turn it about 90 degrees to get round a small bend.

I think it's this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Trust-Gaming-Steering-Vibration-Feedback/dp/B00Z9KRO6E

I use this wheel

It isn't horrifically expensive, and it's probably the best cheap (ish) wheel you can buy

For me, force feedback is an absolute must, it makes driving so much more immersive. You could find a decent wheel for cheaper, but it won't have force feedback.

That's the Openwheeler Gen 2.
Thanks.

Apiga is so overpriced. https://www.amazon.com/Steering-suitable-Thrustmaster-Racing-Ferrari-Italia/dp/B00KMI1LGC/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1502560029&sr=1-1&keywords=gt+omega+wheel+stand Gt Omega is almost identical and 110 less. Plus it's upgradeable in that you can get a rear seat mount and a seat and thus make it a real cockpit.
