For backup lights, I switched to these which were much brighter.

For dome lights, I switched to these, which were also much brighter (and whiter) than stock.  Power consumption is dramatically less than factory incandescents 0.7W vs. 6.7W so you don't need to worry about battery drain.

Bought these parts then went to the hardware store for for a couple screws, washers, and nuts to put them together! Pretty cheap. Also, right now the shovel is ~ $50 but I purchased it a couple months ago for ~ $25 so I’d look around for a better deal.

I’m so not want to route another backup camera wire through the rubber housing to the rear door as I did for my thinkware dash camera. That was a tight fit as it was.

It's inexpensive and mine is real reliable. I've had it running for 3 years now.

Add a wiring kit so you can hide the wire in the headliner and it will go on/off when you start the car automatically.

This is why I carry a small pruning saw in my tool box for trail maintenance, they go through two inch branches with ease.

ATOTO A6: $250 on Amazon. Look for the Toyota specific unit (205mm x 104mm). Fits the factory mounts without having to buy a cheap install unit to fill the side gaps, plugs directly in, works with steering controls, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, has an Apple car play module, multiple USB ports, AUX input, two video inputs, micro SD slot, AirPlay, preamp outputs, etc. It has a few quarks, and you’ll need to do your research to make sure you’re buying the right size, but hard to beat the functions and price point.
