Carl Sagan

A person must develop trust in some form of scientific sources.

Carl Sagan devoted much of his life to the cause of scientific literacy for all people. His genuineness and passion in the promotion of truth should be very evident.

Additionally, he is a good source for persons with a strong sense of spirituality, as Sagan's spirituality is very clear, which his lack of belief in any form of dogma strengthens.

His PBS series Cosmos reviews much of the history of the development of science, including many of the small "genius" things that have been figured out:

His book "Billions & Billions" is valuable to be able to feel his integrity regarding his passion for truth and humanity:

His book "The Demon-Haunted World" is intended to assist the reader in learning critical thinking and reasoning skills, an essential component for the scientific method.

The old audiobook version was excellent for me to listen to, the new one is read by Seth McFarlane. I imagine McFarlane's version to be excellent, but I have not personally listened to so cannot say.
