Well, I'm a noob. Here's what I had typed:

Hey guys, I need some help getting this working. I purchased a Huion H610 and got it installed on my Windows 10 machine. I went to test it out in GIMP 2.10.8 with the Input Devices settings all on 'Screen' mode. I also selected the 'Full Screen Area' option in the Huion settings, and it matches up great.

The issue is that when I go to draw in GIMP, my cursor and the actual 'brush area' are disconnected, and the distance grows as I move down and right on the screen. When I lock the GIMP Input Devices settings to 'Window', the cursor and brush line up perfectly but I cannot move my pen off the canvas which is incredibly annoying to work with.

I attached a screenshot demonstrating the issue, but couldn't figure out how to capture it with the cursor actually showing up since I had to use my mouse to use the Snipping Tool in Windows. When you're looking at the picture, imagine the cursor is placed on the left end of the orange arrows I've drawn. When I press the pen down on the tablet at that location, the blue dot near each arrow is where the brush actually draws, yet the cursor (with the crosshair) is all the way at the point of the arrow.

Hopefully this makes some sense to someone, because I have no idea how to fix it and it's pretty difficult to use in this current configuration. Let me know if this isn't clear enough and I'll do my best to explain it in more detail!

I use a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga with Gimp. Works pretty great, and the laptop comes with a nice little pen that seamlessly slides into the corner of the laptop, so you don't have to ever worry about losing it.

Well, at around $50 you have this one. It looks good to me, I've heard good things about the brand, but I haven't used it personally.

A big factor is size, I'd say it's big enough for the price.

Not sure about Linux compatibility though.
