Congratulations on the new gig! Also, just a thought....if you have a spare $50 laying around, a Roku is a worthwhile purchase if she's going to be using Netflix fairly often. There are quite a few free things on there you can watch aside from Netflix and it can stream pretty much any other internet TV service you pay for. I just got one for my wife to use in our bedroom and it's excellent. If you did that, she could have her Netflix and you could have your GYBB...again, just food for thought :)

That sounds awesome bro. I am using the Elgato HD capture run through an HDMI Splitter, for some reason that lets me use the HDMI cable instead of the cable they provide ;). I used Final Cut Pro X for the editing, made the spinning logo via Motion 5 and encoded it for YouTube with Compressor 4. I love making these videos and and currently working on some sweet animations for the crew. We have to talk so we can plan some things, you know as I do, the more footage you have the better. Hit me up.
I use these. I've had them for 3 years and I love em. My only complaint is that they're really squeaky, not the audio, but the whole headset in general. I use them to watch Netflix at night when my family is asleep. I don't know how the voice quality is, but I haven't had anyone complain.
