Go in with minimal expectations. It's a really well done thing, ESPECIALLY considering it's running on your phone, but there are limitations and flaws.

Make sure you have at the very least some decent headphones. Using headphones makes a HUGE difference in VR. A Bluetooth controller isn't required for most apps in the store, but it doesn't hurt to have it for some games. Most apps control just fine with the touch pad, but there are a couple games that need one. I picked up a SteelSeries Stratus XL and it's sturdy and feels great, although it isn't rechargeable.

It's also not a bad idea to have a micro cloth and maybe some alcohol wipes and canned air on hand. You really want to make sure that there is as little dust, smudge on both sides of the lenses as well as on the screen, since you're gonna be seeing all of that really up close.

Now here are some apps that I've tried and I think are must have so far:

Introduction to Virtual Reality
A relatively short video of some clips that show you what VR is about.

Netflix
You're in a cozy cabin with a mountain view watching Netflix on a giant TV. Really immersive.

Oculus Video
You can stream different types of videos from facebook, twitch and vimeo and play them on a big screen in different settings like home theater, movie theater and even on the moon. Works in a similar way as the Netflix app.

Milk VR
Another streaming service, but without an immersive area where you're relaxing, just a floating screen. You can play downloaded VR videos through this app.

Cirque du Soleil's Kurios and Zarkana
I've never been interested in Cirque du Soleil, but seeing it up close in 360 and 3D is really neat. Zarkana is a really short part of it and Kurios is a 10 minute act. Really fantastic, immersive stuff.

Jurassic World: Apatosaurus
Short video where you're sitting on a log in the woods with a giant sauropod from the Jurassic Era comes out of the ground and asks for money. We was so scared, lord have mercy. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US, MONSTER?

Dreadhalls
Randomly generated dungeon crawler where you don't have weapons and are stuck with a bunch of nasty creatures. I love horror games and have been playing them for many years, but this one makes me really uncomfortable. Play with headphones.

Land's End
Kind of a mild puzzle experience with really nice, clean visuals. Very neat

StreetView VR
It's not 3D, but really cool to be able to just zap around the world and see 360 images of places where you've never been. Swipe up and you get a random location, swipe down and you can tell it where to go. Voice recognition has worked for me really well so far. There isn't any ambient audio in the app, so I recommend playing your own music before you start this.

There are a TON of different apps out there and a bunch that I haven't mentioned, so have fun with it when you get it.

I paid over $850 long ago for a Note 5 so i could experience Gear VR. The Note 5's display broke so I bought a used S6 for $200.

I use the following cooling fan and the S6 will not overheat.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KPTSQ4W/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2YYE48FAL7ZX&colid=RZMBCA14K6EL

I don't know if it's possible for S7s and S8s to overheat, but if they do, the fan is the solution for those phones too. Why spend 10, 15 or 30 minutes in VR when you can stay there as long as you like -- on an S6 or Note 5. The new Gear VR controller even works with the S6.

Since I haven't tried an S7 or S8, I don't know performance-wise how much I'd gain by upgrading to an S8 when it comes to VR. Cooling's my main concern and the fan keeps the S6 and Note 5 cool. You could go the gel pack route and put those in the Gear VR, but a one-time payment of $35 for the fan eliminates that headache.

The fan is a cover that looks like the Gear VR's original over. You snap the fan cover on the Gear VR, cut it on and you're done. Without that fan, my S6 will overheat in 15 minutes or less. That time may be different for different phone owners. From what I've read, some people can use an S6 in the Gear VR for longer periods of time without a fan running.

I did notice a slightly bigger FOV on the Note 5 but it's not that significant. Back in the day, even Carmack said the FOV between those two phones wasn't that big of a deal -- even thought the Note 5's bigger.
Here's one review of the fan from the review page..
--

Very impressed! A friend and I both have the same phone, so we put this to the test. I put the Fan on my Gear VR at the start of play, and we played the game Wands against each other. After about 8 matches, his phone was very hot and starting to jitter. I took mine out and it was cool to the touch. Normally, mine would be in the same shape as his.

You'll find most if you look for "reflective green tape". Most types have a sort of diamond pattern on the tape. I'm guessing this would do: http://www.amazon.com/TapeCase-3277-Green-Reflective-Tape/dp/B007Y7HWMQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1453386782&sr=8-2&keywords=reflective+green+tape
This one will most likely work too (better at closerange, worse at distance): http://www.amazon.com/TapeCase-3437-Green-Reflective-Tape/dp/B007Y7IRSY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1453386782&sr=8-3&keywords=reflective+green+tape
Don't get the tape that appears to be very lightgreen. Darker green is better. In my limited testing with tapes, without a diamond pattern works better for closerange, but this isn't conclusive and with some adjustment might even work well at large distances. I've improved a lot in the algorithms as well; if you like to test get without diamond pattern as secondary.
Alternatively, get a green light filter, put it over the flash and use plain white/silver reflective material (I've got similar materials in small localshops. The filter you get at officesupplies, the grey/white/silver reflective material from a $5 safety vest or just as tape):
Sample of safety vest; it's not tape but works: http://www.amazon.com/Neiko-Visibility-Yellow-Zipper-Reflective/dp/B0030AA3YK/ref=sr_1_3?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1453387694&sr=1-3-spons&keywords=safety+vest&psc=1
http://www.amazon.com/Reflexite-Brand-Conspicuity-Tape-Diamond/dp/B00LGYS57Y/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1453387424&sr=8-8&keywords=reflective+tape
http://www.amazon.com/Transparent-Colored-Window-Film-Sample/dp/B00ORVX4RO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1453387525&sr=8-3&keywords=green+transparent+film
Don't spend more than a few bucks on the material unless you verified that it works well. It's really all cheap stuff, but people tend to overprice and sell it bulk. A good way to test if the stuff works in store, is to load the apk on your phone and see if it tracks the marker in the store. If you're not shy of compiling, compile the apk with SHOW_CAMERA set to false in Config.java for a good debugging view of reflectivity.
Edit: Also, if you're testing in store, check for return angles. This means if you view at an angle of 45 degrees, see if that works well and so on.

u/OwThatHertz · 1 pointr/GearVR

Fair enough. To answer your original question, the S8+ is technically compatible with the 2016 Gear VR but there are some slight fitment issues. The general consensus is that the 1027 2017 version fits and works better, so make sure you can find the model number of the Gear VR and that it matches the 2017 version.

Regarding cellular vs. non-cellular, I use a 2016 version with a carrier-locked Galaxy S7 edge that has the SIM pulled and it only uses WIFI. It works fine. I can't speak to the specific demo model you're talking about as I haven't used it, but it sounds like it should work. If the only difference is that the cellular radio doesn't work, but all other functionality (including Bluetooth and WIFI and the Oculus software) works, you should be fine.

Note that Bluetooth and WIFI being functional will be important. WIFI for downloads and Bluetooth for the remote and for controllers. It's possible that one or both of these will also have been disabled in the demo, so I'd confirm with the seller that both work before proceeding. That said, I've seen store demos that had functional Bluetooth and I'm not sure if it's a separate radio or not. I think it is, because I can put my phone into Airplane mode (disables all radios) and then enable Bluetooth and WIFI while Airplane Mode is still active.
However, given that we're in different markets, I'd still ask the seller first.

For controllers, I recommend the Steelseries Stratus XL or, even better, an Xbox 360 wireless controller. Note that the current version of the Xbox Elite Controller is not bluetooth (uses a dongle) so will not work with Android, so stick with the non-Elite for now. There's supposedly a new version of the Elite controller about to be released that uses Bluetooth instead, but I haven't seen any confirmation on release date as yet.

Good luck!

Edit: typo.

I have the Note 4 Innovator Edition too (in the USA). As said above, you only have one gear VR model that works with the Note 4. Be careful to get the correct one as there is another Innovator Edition that only works with the S6.

I hope it's easy for you to find one. I would definitely get it, especially with two years left (Are the smartphone contacts really 3 years long in Australia? I think they are in Canada too.)

Some tips:

  • buy some spare batteries. Anker has worked well for me ($25 USD) but check for compatibility with your version https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Q4NQQA0/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_lyuCwbXM1KJAW

  • if you find your phone overheats quickly or regularly, there are steps you can take to reduce the frequency and possibly eliminate it. Give the aluminum foil heatsink a try (although with more experimentation I think turning on Power Saving mode might be the biggest help along with screen display colors set to Basic.
    https://www.reddit.com/r/GearVR/comments/3wgo5m/3_min_overheat_fix_attempt/

  • also keep in mind that as time goes on there will be a widening gap in the content available for our phone model vs the S6 variants and the Note 5. The new models coming out next year will only increase this gap. Bottom line - app developers will be less motivated to make their apps perform well to meet the standards of performance (frame rate @ 60 fps) required by Oculus to be included in their app store. We've already seen delay of several apps for Note 4 that took longer to optimize and cane to the store later. Let's face it, our phones are not as fast as the newer ones.

  • BUT, I would not let that stop you. BUY IT! There is plenty of content in the store right now (and more to come) to enjoy. See my list of apps available for Note 4 here (at least in the USA, there is another list floating around for international)

1. I use the built in touchpad for everything except games that require a bluetooth controller. The touch pad is very responsive and functions perfectly. I bought this and it works well with games that require it.

2. My favorite games are Smash Hit, Gunjack, Anshar Wars 2, Esper 2, Oculus Arcade (Sonic the Hedgehog), and Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. All these games have exceptionally high replay value. I have been playing Smash Hit everyday before work. The game is free and it helps wake me up.

The only game I didn't like was Mortal Blitz VR. I wish I hadn't bought it.

3. I use the Oculus video app for the "Void Theater" setting so that I can watch content I put on my phone while laying down. I use Samsungs MilkVR for the 360 3D porn I put on my phone. I also use the Vrideo app for random awesome 360 3d videos. I like this app because I can download the videos.

u/ponieslovekittens · 1 pointr/GearVR

There hasn't exactly been a never-ending stream of "must have" content over the past two years. We've gained Minecraft and Skylight. We lost Altspace. Google Street View become "Viso Places." Through thick and thin and going away rumors, SideloadVR is still the go-to place for unofficial content. We have a dedicated controller now, but not a whole lot of stuff uses it.

There have been dozens of nameless, forgettable games, yet more railshooters and "experiences," many of which look beautiful but aren't actually very fun to play.

But not a lot of super awesome exciting stuff that you absolutely must download because you're going to want to play it every day.

u/kaidomac · 5 pointsr/GearVR

I'd say get all of the updates you can (OS & apps) and turn off any notifications. It was really annoying having message notifications popping up while using the headset. If you want to get serious about it, you might want to pick up some accessories. This is what my kit consists of right now:

  1. Gear VR headset ($100)

  2. Note 5 phone

  3. Cheap padded camera bag to stow everything in ($30, check out eCost on Amazon for some large cheap bags with adjustable dividers, they even have slingpack options if you want)

  4. iPega gamepad controller: ($25, also lets you adjust volume without taking the phone out of the headset)

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KLS3UEY

  5. Anker Bluetooth receiver for my headphones: ($30) [Edit: not needed, you can access the headphone jack if you remove the front cover on the Gear VR]

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E174RTS

  6. 22,000mAh battery ($25), a few MicroUSB chargers, and a USB A/C plug (let's say $10 for the plugs & some charging cables). During the day, I plug the Note 5, Anker BT module, and iPega controller into the battery to stay topped off, then plug the battery into the wall at night to charge. I have this one:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FDK2G2C

  7. Cheap drummer's chair ($35, no back, lets you spin around in circles easily for 360 photos, games, etc.; I fortunately had one handy from my old Guitar Hero drums setup)

  8. Microfiber cleaning cloth (for the smartphone screen & the front/back of the Gear VR lenses because it will pick up visible bits of crud over time)

In addition to the headset & phone, it was about $150 to get all of the accessories I wanted. Pricey, but cheaper than an Xbox or Playstation at least! Plus all of the stuff is multi-functional...like I can use the Bluetooth transmitter for listening to audio wirelessly, or the gamepad also doubles as a clip to turn your phone into kind of a Gameboy for non-VR games, which is cool (also works with iOS & Windows, apparently). The Gear VR doesn't have pass-through for charging or headphones (edit: scratch that, consumer version has (1) a charging port on the bottom, (2) a volume rocker on the side, and (3) can just keep the front cover off & plug headphones directly into the phone), which is why I got the battery & some extra cables, plus the Bluetooth module. At home I use my earbuds for audio, but on-the-go I use headphones because I show the Gear VR off a lot & don't want people's earwax on my buds.

Also be prepared to pay for some apps; unfortunately the games are not as cheap as most other mobile games. Like, Adventure Time is five dollars - and it's awesome - but it's only two levels. So you're definitely at the "early adopter" stage of VR where there's not a ton of stuff available and it's all relatively expensive (I've payed less for some Steam games that have lasted many more hours than some of the stuff I've paid $10 or $15 for on the Oculus app store). I've spent at least fifty bucks already between apps, games, and movies, and not all of them have been worth it, so read up on the reviews & watch some Youtube before you part with your money because not everything is worth the asking price.
u/hansky84 · 9 pointsr/GearVR

Hi! I bought this case from a suggestion on this subreddit.
It's worked awesome to keep everything I need for my Gear VR and then some:

  • Gear VR

  • Canned air

  • Lens cleaner

  • 2 MagicFiber cleaning cloths

  • Moga Pro Power Controller w/tablet stand (because why not)

  • Extra battery pack

  • 3-5 micro usb cables for battery pack, controller, charger, etc

  • User guides

  • Usb charger

  • Selfie stick

It's easy to carry and looks pretty cool! Here's an album of it all: Samsung Gear VR Tactical Carrying Case
    Good luck!

This one

Is awesome. Super cheap and works great. I got it on sale for 17 and it works awesome. It's on sale for 22 now.

u/mynameisntjeffrey · 4 pointsr/GearVR

I can confirm that that specific moga controller will not work with mincraft, or any vr games. It has a really stupid way to connect, and it just feels uncomfortable. Minecraft uses all the buttons on a normal sized controller, so you're really going to need to get one. I bought a cheap 20 dollar one that has a ok build quality but has enough buttons to actually play the game. The analog sticks are pretty good but the triggers are simply one button press and the d-pad is pretty awful. But it works great regardless.

Edit: here's the one I bought.

u/brooklandia1 · 2 pointsr/GearVR

Thanks. For anyone interested, this seems to have best speeds for usb flash (obviously external SSD is fastest if they work too): SanDisk Extreme PRO CZ88 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Speeds Up To 260MB/s

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HR7FWUC

Or even faster updated usb 3.1 version i just saw https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01MU8TZRV/

The smaller flash drives seem to be just microSD card housings and so top out well under 100 MB/s write speed, a bit slow for copying 1440p/4K 60fps content.

Also went with a 128GB Samsung Evo Select SD card, much better write speeds than the Samsung Evo+ in the $99 immersive preorder promo.

You're out of luck with the standard Xbox One controller, but we've had some success reports for the DualShock 4 controller when connected via USB using a Type-C to Type-A OTG adapter (like this or this) connected to the 2016/17 Gear VR. You may or may not need this app, and your mileage may vary.

Please report back :)

(I don't have a PS4 controller so I can't try it myself)

I purchased [this fan] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01ESFZY76/ref=sxl1?ie=UTF8&qid=1467210450&sr=1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65) based off another user's review and it works great. I have a S7 edge which never really overheats, but I still like to use it. My friend has a S6 that overheats constantly and this fan fixed that. We've played minecraft for close to 2 hours before with out any issues

u/HoustonVR · 1 pointr/GearVR

No problem! These are the ones I use: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZVI485Y

They're not quite big enough to cover the whole phone, but you really only need them to cover the CPU/GPU area. Also, they remain flexible when frozen, which makes it easy to ensure good contact with the phone.

u/imaxtothewelll · 1 pointr/GearVR

What is a decent Bluetooth controller that plays nicely with Galaxy S7 + Gear VR 2015 ?

My S7 just got the Nougat update

Preferably I would spend about $15 on the controller since I only spent $10 getting the Gear VR after Samsung Pay promotion :)

I added this to my watchlist and I am still researching -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015YF3YZ8/

The best feature in my opinion not only the games but the huge movie theater, it's like you're actually there. Not sure why Netflix went the home 80" TV route but maybe there will be an upgrade eventually.

Another GameSir user here, GameSir G4s, it was on sale a few months back so I snapped it up. Never had an issue with it, worked like a charm.

A couple of highlights that tipped me in its direction is having a proper internal battery instead of using AA's / AAA's, and it being plug and play with PCs. I have only tested it on the PC and havent used it for that since, but it was nice to have the option.

I hesitated to get this one because of how many conflicting Galaxy S7 reviews which is the phone I use. I would love to know if people have successfully used this with the S7, and what specific S7 model they have.

u/the320x200 · 4 pointsr/GearVR

Yup, these are the ones I use. They work pretty well, you won't have any overheating problems. The downsides are added weight and initially before the phone warms up sometimes they cool the whole headset too much and the lenses fog up.

u/TheVillainYouLove · 1 pointr/GearVR

There is currently a Gear VR cooling fan sold on amazon for 35$.
I haven't gotten it yet, but according to the reviews, people are head over heels for this thing. It doesn't operate on the Gear's battery, it has it's own LiPo. It will add some extra weight, but I'm guessing it's better than an overheating phone. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KPTSQ4W/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AJBDT8STJICUH

I picked up a GameSir G4s on a recent Amazon flash sale. Has dual Bluetooth and Xwindows support. Very flexible controller for the money.

You don't have many choices. There's only one GVR that fits the Note 8 as standard, and it's the newest black 2017 SMR-325 with controller. Currently $109 on Amazon. You can mod older models as some have done, I can't recommend modding.

Give your old one to somebody for Christmas (assuming you're trading in the N5). The N8 is the best phone for vr so far. It won't overheat at all.

Not to phone, to a high speed usb 3.0 drive like sandisk extreme pro, with the OTG adapter that comes with the S8. Gets better speeds than an SD card.

Or slightly faster:

I'm 100% getting it now. Can you tell the difference between these two on Amazon? I noticed the model numbers are different but can't see anything else (other than the price). Just want to make sure I get the most recent version.

I have this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Bluetooth-Controller-Classic-Joystick/dp/B018K3Q4KS/ref=sr_1_5?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1463082610&sr=1-5&keywords=bluetooth+controller

Works great and looks really damn good, every one that has seen it has commented on how great it looks.

Some buttons are switched but it's not a big deal once you get used to it.

u/JaguarWhisperer · 3 pointsr/GearVR

I have and use this. Great quality and doesn't feel cheap at all.

u/daleyjem · 1 pointr/GearVR

Get these and freeze 'em. They fit well enough between the phone and back plate. My phone has never overheated with one in: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZVI485Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The Inventor's edition (The old one) supports the Note 4 however, the consumer edition (The new one) doesn't. Only Note5, S6, S6 edge, S6 edge plus, S7 and S7 edge are supported by the consumer edition.

Bought it for the price. Zero regerts lol

I have this same problem with my s7. I even bought this to help https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Cooling-COMPATIBLE-consumer-built/dp/B01KPTSQ4W but of course it still overheats and turns off. I’m hoping the Oreo update fixes some issues.

u/thealienelite · 1 pointr/GearVR

This is a fantastic one, and it also comes with a wireless dongle for PC use.

I put a 3x5 Gel Pack in the cover, doesn't solve it but extends my playtime for sure. I keep a couple in the fridge.

This is what I did, and it worked fine:

http://www.patstarace.com/samsung-gear-vr-2015-retail-mod-for-note-4.html

Basically just gotta trim out the corners and make sure not to mess up those pegs. I used my dremel but you could probably use a hacksaw or something with patience.

The overheating...isn't good. But I bought some gel packs and they've worked wonders. I keep them in the refrigerator instead of the freezer because I'm afraid of condensation. My longest session so far has been 30-40 minutes with no overheating.

Check out the reviews, everyone is using these things. There's other mods you can do like adding a case fan but I really didn't want to go through all that.

u/genki831 · 7 pointsr/GearVR

Whoever recommended this piece of crap owes me $22. This is a piece of hardware, but definitely one to avoid if you are looking for a controller. I tried it with VR Karts and Jump, the buttons do not all work for either game. I can still play Jump, but the rotate and back buttons don't work. I have exit to Oculus home to quit a level and I have to rotate my body to rotate in game.

The article was a little frustrating to read. Multiple times, you highlight the central bit of news (Gear VR is discounted from $129 to $85 on Amazon) that the article was written to reveal. Yet, when I read the article, nothing ties directly to that news.

Worse, the source/link of said news isn't found until the very bottom. The caption "Buy Now!" not only doesn't allude to it being the Amazon source, but even sounds like a text ad for your site.

I don't mind that you want to talk about the strengths of Gear VR or any other thoughts you have about the medium. That's not what your headline says, though; it says that I can buy Gear VR for a discount.

The point of the article is the discount, so get to the point. Put the Amazon link, as well as a brief but descriptive caption about the link, on the first sentence of the article. Spend the rest of the first paragraph building the context of this info (e.g. the regular price is $130) while directly relating to the news. Also include any urgent/time-sensitive related info (e.g. limited time discount) in that first paragraph.

P.S.: I've read many, many news articles online, but this is the first one where I have ever encountered the word "protuberant". The term is unnecessarily complex, and forced me (and will force many others) to do a Google search at best, or simply stop reading your article at worst. Either way, it breaks the flow of reading while adding nothing substantial to the article.

u/anthonsh · 1 pointr/GearVR

I bought this. Just another option for white ver.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KPTSQ4W/ref=cm_sw_r_fm_apa_9kuuybAGQBQ7R

The issues are weight and fan sound. Neither bother me.

Ice Packs

Also, using external power (battery pack) is one of the biggest gains you'll get.

I got the SteelSeries Stratus XL which was highly recommended. Its $60 but worth the money. My 2nd choice was the NES30 Pro, but I didn't feel like hunting it down and waiting for shipping. Heres a link with it.

u/_Dialtone · 1 pointr/GearVR

I realize I'm a month late but I got this one a while back and it works flawlessly for every GearVR game or Emulator that I've tried. Hold HOME and X to put it into pairing mode for android.

u/JustVan · 1 pointr/GearVR

Yeah, I specifically purchased a blue tooth controller for it. Your PlayStation 4 one may work. I ended up buying this one.

u/Qun_Mang · 1 pointr/GearVR

Matricom G-Pad BX gamepad. Works well for my purposes.

u/SwissMoose · 3 pointsr/GearVR

As listed in another post, why not just get the new controller for cheap?

edit: Currently $27 on Amazon

If you can find the white 2015 gear vr headset you can order this from amazon to handle the S6 heat issue. I used this constantly before I upgraded to an S7 and it stopped my overheating issues. The fan is very quiet and it still allows camera passthrough and the headphone jack. It only works with the white 2015 model though.

I use this bag, which fits the Gear VR, a moga pro power, charger, headphones, keys, wallet, and even my Tab S2 in the rear pocket.

u/JackM10 · 1 pointr/GearVR

The price changes around, I got this controller for $15 a few days ago.

u/ApokalypseCow · 2 pointsr/GearVR

If you're on the first generation white GearVR, you might invest in one of these.

u/FapDamage · 0 pointsr/GearVR

I really thought about getting one, but I ordered this instead: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KPTSQ4W?psc=1

It was $10 cheaper so I figured what the heck. It doesn't charge my phone, but I have a cheap power brick I use. I'm going to probably place a piece of velcro somewhere on the headset just velcro the power brick to it when I may need it.

I also plan on doing a review after a week or so. I'll post it on this sub when I do.

u/OniCr0w · 1 pointr/GearVR

vrpadding.com pads are so much better than the original pads. Also here's a cooling fan.
