Anker is an awesome brand, what i used was these two items to get my second farm was:
USB cables
Anker charger
tossed em in a dollar tree tupperware that cut a hole in the side for the power cable. using such short microusb cables meant it took up less overall space and by buying a whole set it could packaged up and dropped off at a friends house all set and running just needing his wifi connection and a power plug :). also made it easy to downsize and sell off an entire farm.

i bought a refurb off amazon a few months back. works beautifully. i have this as my main router and a tplink, netgear wrt54g and linksys x2000 behind it.
the 3 routers behind it handle the traffic for ~40ish wireless devices.

Primary router: TP-Link WDR3600 flashed with Gargoyle firmware. Working great with 5 perk devices and up to 24 devices connected with as many as 10 of them streaming (big household) without issues.

I combine it with a Outlet Timer, 4 Hours off and 2 hrs on cycles.
A power strip can be slim, though. I've been using this setup since day one (with modifications along the way) and I can't imagine making it much slimmer besides wall mounting.

The strip could be replaced with some kind of charger, but the feet / base are already taking up X amount of space anyway, and the strip is within that X.
Regarding your current plan, I think this might work? 4A / 10 = 400mA, which might be just enough to keep the devices charged. This has a lot more amps, but it's pretty big.

You can get 5 chargers with two usb outputs a piece for $10 with shipping. Which means that if you bought one power strip (I got mine for less than $5) you can charge 10 phones for $15 which is cheaper than getting two usb hubs.

Got a Buffalo WHR-300HP2 for $20 on newegg then installed dd-wrt firmware. So far so good for 5 perk devices+ several phones & laptops
I'll break it down as simply as possible. The 60-watt Cree led bulb is rated 25,000 hours. Let's assume 10.8 cents/kwhr (the cost your website assumed).
To run the CFLs (I'm using the cheapest ones I could find) for 25,000 hours, using the same 10.8 cents/kwhr, would be:
That's a difference of $9.45 cents, in electricity alone. Now, those CFL bulbs are rated for 8000 hours, so you need 3 + 1/8 of them to run for 25k hours. The cost for that many CFL bulbs is:
A single Cree bulb costs $8.24 per bulb (8-pack).
So where does that leave us?
TOTAL COST TO RUN CFLS FOR 25K HOURS: $35.10+$5.22 = $40.32
TOTAL COST TO RUN A SINGLE CREE LED FOR 25K HOURS: $25.65+$8.24 = $33.89.
DIFFERENCE: $6.43
Even if you get those bulbs for $1.20 a piece, the single LED is less expensive.
