I would like Risk of Rain just 2 copies [If allowed] (one for me one for a friend you could use the others to give to others who would want one)

One movie I like is called Carved (or Kuchisake Onno in Japan) and (I'm sure someone's recommended REC [it's freaking disturbing movie] that movie is in Spanish and inspired Quarantine.)

[Steam ID] (http://steamcommunity.com/id/D9sinc)

[Carved on Amazon] (http://www.amazon.com/Carved-Slit-Mouthed-Woman-Eriko-Sato/dp/B000Q7ZKWU)

[Rec on Amazon] (http://www.amazon.com/Rec-Manuela-Velasco/dp/B0028DRGDQ)

Sorry Idk if you like amazon or if you don't it's just the cheapest place I found to obtain said movies, but hey maybe these are terrible suggestions in the first place.

Either way I would like to thank you for the chance to win this game :) I hope you manage to find something nice for your GF OP you're a good girl/boyfriend for hosting this giveaway to get some advice on something nice for your GF :)

Edit: If Risk of Rain is already taken (or if I can't ask for 2 copies of Risk of Rain) than I hope you can still enjoy the movies I suggested if you (and hopefully your GF) like them :)

Edit 2: I made my post slightly less rude :/ i'm sorry OP and understand if you don't pick me.

I'm going to throw you a curveball!

I know there's probably no easy way to figure out how to "gift" this, but I think you're totally up to the challenge. It's a new year after all, right? I've got faith in you! (Okay, I made it easy by linking to a digital code.)

Batman: Arkham VR

As for a favorite game, I'm going to have to go with Xenogears. One of the most imaginative RPGs I've ever played, it's the only game I've ever fully completed (like, 100%... level 99, grinding items to raise stats to their limits, exploring every nook and cranny 100%) over 15 times. There was just always something new to appreciate about it.

The story was always amazing to me. Love that crosses time, space, and death... Every character just amazingly deep and realistic. And oh man, the music! Fantastic! Small of Two Pieces is still one of my go-tos on any game playlist I have on Spotify.

While the spiritual successor Xenosaga scratched some of the itch, nothing ever truly recaptured the soul of that game for me. (If I ever get a WiiU, I guess I'll have to check out Xenoblade!)

So the main reason I want this game is to make a custom campaign mod based around a fantasy novel I wrote. I've been modding Skyrim for years, but have always been a much greater CRPG fan. This game allows me to build exactly what I'd like, and I have a vast world already built for this to take place in. (bonus map of the continent it will be taking place on: Map

In addition to making this story driven campaign in a brand new setting, I'm really looking forward to adding custom skills and items as well.

If chosen, I'll keep you updated on my mod progress via a youtube channel I'd like to make documenting the creation of the game.

Modding this game is the part I look forward to the most, but I thoroughly enjoyed DOS 1 and have played every major CRPG that has come out in the last 20 years. I'm really looking forward to this game, but unfortunately cannot afford it myself for several months.

Thank you for your consideration!

Edit: I'd like to add some proof to some of my modding / game making claims:

As for proof, I'll offer you what I can. My KDP for the book published: https://i.imgur.com/jAnCHo5.jpg

Estergate Point, a Skyrim mod I was working on before I got into RMMV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phKXON3SOjc
(sorry the music sucks btw, I was trying my hand at making my own music, which has gotten MUCH better over the years)

Don't Starve + Reign of Giants DLC Package

So, I downloaded the free weekend trial and the game is a blast. Ive had it on my wish list for a while but today I played it and it was way better than I expected it to be.

To my understanding the DLC is really important to the game that is why Im requesting the DLC as well. It comes out to $6.45 so if that is to much I would love to just get Don't Starve.

Thanks for the opportunity. :D

Wow this is amazing! I've been dreaming with the Dark Souls Trilogy for the PS4 and it fits exactly within your limits: Amazon Link

I don't why you do this, but it is truly amazing when generous people do these kind of things for strangers. It may be something material, but these gestures can really cheer up people who've been having rough times. Thanks for making the world a better place, I hope one day I can give back as much as you do.

Sadly, this is only my favorites that I keep coming back to.

∞ Infinity Loop (Free) - Simple and addictive puzzle game

10000000 ($2.89) - Match 3 puzzle game with interesting mechanics, quests, and upgrade system.

ALONE... ($1.49) - Sort of like that old helicopter game in browser, you guide a rocket ship through a cave sorta thing.

Archery King (Free) - Archery, enough said.

Circle Affinity (Free) - Circular platformer

Downwell ($2.99) - Vertical platformer. I like it better on Steam.

Dropsy ($4.99 on Amazon Underground, $9.99 in Play Store) - Dark point and click with no dialogue. P&C translated surprisingly well to mobile.

Dumb Ways to Die 2 (Free) - Basically Wario-Ware for mobile

Dynamix (Free) - Rhythm game that was actually designed for touchscreens instead of porting controls over a-la DDR.

Fighting Fantasy series ($2.99, some are cheaper on Amazon Underground) - Choose Your Own Adventure style books with die based combat. Really fun, ton of variations. I've personally played The Forest of Doom, House Of Hell, and Island of the Lizard King

Fishing Hook (Free) - Fishing game with good enough mechanics.

Lara Croft GO (Free on Amazon Underground) - Part of the GO series (Deus Ex GO and Hitman GO) that are great puzzle games that play like a board game. Really interesting.

Lyne ($2.50) - Connect all the lines in this puzzle game

Mini Mix Mayhem (Free) - Wario Ware x4

Monument Valley (Free on Amazon Underground) - Perspective based puzzle game

Outfolded (Free) - Unfold boxes to solve puzzles

Pocket Rice (Free) - Trivia where successful answers allow you to donate rice to people in need

Reigns ($2.99) - Hard to explain, but great. Balance... stuff to stay alive through choices you make as king.

Sonic Racing Transformed (Free) - Surprisingly good port to mobile, but I've had issue with doing stunts.

Strata (Free) - Puzzle game based on layering lines

I requested this once, but it wasn't fulfilled. I wanted to play the shit out of this hype ass Gundam game, for the PS Vita.

It is a arena fighting game, much like J-Stars, Virtua On, JoJo Eyes of Heaven. But with fucking GUNDAMS. I like Gundam very much, actually, mechs are goddamn amazing. I have some model kits and even played some Gundam games in the past, like those PSX fighting games (Battle Assault, IIRC), but my favorite was Federation vs Zeon, for the ps2.

I want this game because of its theme and gameplay. Everything looks amazing, but I could never get a deal on it. The physical copy is very cheap, but I can't order from Amazon cause I live in Brazil, and I would pay triple its price for taxes and shipping.

This digital bundle comes with two themes for the Vita. Another cool thing: my girlfriend also likes to play videogames, I use a Vita TV while uses my portable Vita. So this digital copy would serve us both! I'm War_Machida at PSN, by the way.

Thank you for the giveaway!

u/atanos · 1 pointr/GiftofGames

My profile is http://steamcommunity.com/id/headwound79/.

I'd like to get Car Mechanic Simulator 2015. I was thinking about getting the bundle it was in, but ended up waiting too long.

For post-apocalyptic stuff, do you want my favorite or something you haven't seen? The two could be very different. :)

Movie: Children of Men is very good, but that's too mainstream. So try [Hell Comes to Frogtown]
(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093171/) starring "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. It's hilarious. (Extra tip: listen to the How Did This Get Made? podcast about the movie)

TV: I surprisingly like The 100, despite it being a CW show. The first 2 seasons are great. The end of season 2 was particularly gripping. Season 3 hasn't grabbed me yet, but I'm only 3 episodes in.

Book: Robopocalypse. The cheesy name turned me off at first, but it is a interesting take on a robot uprising from several points of view. It kind of reminds me of World War Z (the book, of course).

EDIT
I saw OP states that he is "lazy" so you can gift me this since it should cut it for the price if i win.

Inside by PlayDead

I dont have Steam but here's the Steam Link

Oddly enough my favorite game of all time is Limbo. It's a simple platformer that is somewhat poetic. It has a hidden/secret story and its fun to replay it and try to make up theories. I love it's deep and dark atmosphere which is why I want INSIDE. (Made by the same company) I heard mixed reviews on Inside and don't want to spoil the experience and go in knowing NOTHING like in Limbo. I hope can relive the same feeling of aww and immersion in Inside as I did with Limbo. Thanks OP!

u/Vaguely_Aware01 · 1 pointr/GiftofGames

That is very generous, thank you.

As for me, as much as I enjoy PC gaming(and Switch), my heart lies more with cardboard and dice.

So, what I would like should I be chosen is Star Trek Frontiers

As a huge sci-fi nerd and life long Trekkie, this game appeals to be on theme alone. I’ve enjoyed all the films, old and even the new. And almost all of the series; original, TNG, Voyager, DS9, and Discovery(just not Enterprise... sorry Captain Archer).

The other appeal to me here is that it’s a game that is playable (and arguably best played) solo. As a soon to be father of twins, I will have to take a 3-9 month break minimum from my usual game group. The ability to set up and play alone, then leave and come back once the babies wake up and need my attention, not needing to come back for hours or days if need be(assuming the cat and dogs will not jump on or bump too hard into the table) and pick back up.

Either way, thanks for the opportunity.

PSN: Soruichi_Kitty

Game: Resident Evil 0 https://www.amazon.com/Resident-Evil-HD-Digital-Code/dp/B01ATRN258/ref=sr_1_143_twi_sof_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1483137281&sr=1-143&th=1

I missed the original Resident Evil when it was available and figured this one on sale would be neat. I think I might actually prefer this one. Single-player games are really helpful when you've made a holiday move and your internet/cable is on delay, and not even your water wants to get warm lol.

As for a favorite game, I'm wondering if Smite counts? No story mode, no, but I love how each match can play so differently. And there's the getting good part too! Time spent using a god really enhances your plays, like seeing how positively you can affect a battlefield.

I should also mention I like mythology.......which might explain things.....

P.S. Sorry about errors/difficulties, I am oddly, on mobile. Very rare for me when writing a lot.

This is awesome OP thank you! I doubt I will win but this is what I want, a 1080, building my dream PC and this is going to be the hardest part for me to get. So it would help me build the PC of my dreams much faster!

https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-GeForce-STRIX-Graphics-STRIX-GTX1080-A8G-GAMING/dp/B01K5F8MJK/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1478373341&sr=1-1&keywords=GTX+1080

It is $669.99!

It is really cool that you are doing something like this!

u/IronDuck721 · 1 pointr/GiftofGames

Thank you for your generosity OP!!! I have been getting into board games a lot lately and I have found I often prefer them to video games when multiple people are playing. Facing the table together has brought about better conversation than facing a screen.

That said, I would love the game My Little Scythe the original game Scythe is such a blast and my friends and I would get a kick out of this chibi version of the game!

If you would rather gift a video game, I've been thinking a bit about Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu for the Switch. My NNID is IronDuck

Gaming headsets are overpriced. Buy a good set of headphones and either a clip-on mic, something like this, or an antlion modmic.

I, personally, use the Audio Technica M20x's with a removable cable mod, and this mic. Works like a charm.

You seem to have a pretty solid budget, so I would recommend buying the best headphones you can and pairing them with the modmic.
