I’ve seen some posts asking about the Spidgen Full Cover Glass tR Slim. I'll try to answer some questions today.
Rating: 9.5/10
Thoughts:
The reason I gave it 9.5 instead of 10 is because of the inside coverage not being 100% accurate (See album). The top and bottom of the screen is perfectly fine and I understand the cutouts needing a little bit of extra space (camera/infrared sensor), but the left and right side of the screen are not completely covered. I heard that the other brands actually cover it a bit too much, while Spidgen's actually is a tiny bit short (preferable, but not ideal).
---
That's it for the glass protector. Here's some bonus pics of some skins:
Slickwrap's Hemp Skin
DBrand's Concrete Skin
Note: I cut out the Hemp sensor area because I had trouble with my Concrete skin before where it would interfere with the laser focus.

The case I used for the Glass pictures (Also love it):
Spidgen Liquid Crystal Case: https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Crystal-Protection-Premium-Clarity/dp/B01M1DR187/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1484603767&sr=8-1&keywords=spigen+liquid+crystal+pixel+xl
Yes-- Keep checking this a few times a day until the model you want doesn't say "Out of Stock"
I love this phone. It's really nice. Using the Google site above, I paid $649 for the phone, $120 extra to make it "pixel XL" and $100 extra to make it 128GB. I didn't pay the extra $100 for the extended warranty, because I bought this case and this case and plan to keep it super safe. All in all it was about $924 with tax.
Using the standard free shipping Google provided, I got my phone in two days. Some people who got their phone through Verizon have been waiting several months at this point.
I also got my Daydream View VR headset last night, and I spent about 5 hours on it having a blast. It is amazing all you can do. The only issue I (and everyone else) has is that after about an hour the phone says "Please remove your phone so it can cool off" and then you realize your phone feels like a piece of molten lava. AKA, it gets very hot after about an hour of VR use. But you simply put in on a table and after maybe 6 minutes it's fine again for another hour.
Please let me know what questions you have about this phone.
I have these on my Pixel 2 (non-XL), but they are available for the 2XL as well:
Screen protector: https://www.amazon.com/Protector-LiQuidSkin-Case-friendly-Anti-Bubble-Anti-Scratch/dp/B073RV6PQD/
^ It's not glass, but I'm really liking it. Once it dries and settles after install, it's practically invisible. It's really difficult to tell it's even on since it's hard to see the edges of it. Super smooth and does not distort the image and is case friendly.
Case: https://www.amazon.com/Pixel-Diztronic-Slim-Fit-Flexible-Google/dp/B0772D5Y5R/
^ I originally bought a Ringke Fusion but found that it was holding smudges and oils from my hand. So even if I washed my hands, once I picked the case back up, I'd get oily hands or vice versa. This matte finish case is really nice from Diztronic. Provides a nice grip yet it's not bulky at all.
Here are some accessories I use and love.
Cables:
[6' long USB A to C](http://www.Anker.com/ PowerLine+ USB-C to USB 3.0 cable (6ft), High Durability, for USB Type-C Devices Including the new MacBook, ChromeBook Pixel, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nokia N1 Tablet, OnePlus 2 and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LNAAEJ2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_SD1PybKFCP918)
[6' long USB C to C cable](http://www.Anker.com/ PowerLine+ C to C 2.0 cable (6ft), High Durability, for USB Type-C Devices Including the new MacBook, ChromeBook Pixel, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, OnePlus 2 and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LNA0XCU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_mG1Pyb59S4SK0)
Charger:
[5 port (1 C and 4 A) charger](http://www.Anker.com/ USB Type-C 40W 5-Port USB Wall Charger, PowerPort 5 for iPhone 7 / 6s / Plus, iPad Pro / Air 2 / mini, Galaxy S7 / S6 / Edge / Plus, Note 5 / 4, LG, Nexus, HTC and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0196JFWXK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_JH1PybWXH9ZMT)
That 5 port charger has been amazing. It is routinely use to charge a combination of my daughter's tablet, my Pixel, my wife's iPhone 7 Plus, my Xbox One Controller, mine and my wife's Kindles, and random devices from visitors with no problem. It has charged tablet and both phones simultaneously without any issue and at a very normal rate. I also use my OEM wall charger in the bedroom and the OEM Nexus 6P charger for travel.
Cases:
[Caseology Paralac](http://www.Google.com/ Pixel Case, Caseology [Parallax Series] Modern Slim Geometric Design [Black] [Textured Grip] for Google Pixel (2016) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M4HN5XV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_iL1Pyb58J56Y8). This is my work case ( I work 7 days on and 7 days off so I use it every other week) and feels and looks great but isn't as thin as I'd prefer. I generally prefer no case or just a dBrand skin.
This is my home/out and about case. [The Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear.](http://www.Spigen.com/ Ultra Hybrid Google Pixel Case with Air Cushion Technology and Hybrid Drop Protection for Google Pixel 2016 - Crystal Clear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LX6CDHG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_6M1Pyb6KC420F)
Honorable mention if you want the thinnest case (note: This case won't fit over a dBrand skin.) [Niilken Nature series. ](http://www.Google.com/ Pixel Case, Nillkin Nature Series Clear Soft TPU Case Back Cover [Ultra Thin] [Slim Fit] for Google Pixel - Grey https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N8VGLYK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_DO1PybYSP36XD)
I also found these [Yootech glass screen protectors](http://www.Google.com/ Pixel Screen Protector [5.0"] [2-Pack] [Update Version],Yootech Google Pixel Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Google Pixel https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MPY1RPC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_oP1Pyb5Y22PEZ) to be more than good enough but they cover screen only and not full front (supposedly due to the subtle curvature of the fines edge).
Of course you can never go wrong with a nice dBrand skin for that finishing touch.
Hope this helps.
My wife and I have been using this magnetic car mount from Wizgear. They also have a vent mounted model
I was originally against them as I didn't want to stick the metal plate on the back of my phone but since I'm using a case to protect my Pixel...it's hidden.
I really like how easy it is to just touch my phone to the mount and it stays there. Since we are both using the same setup, we can mount either phone in either car. I liked this so much, I picked up a couple of these desktop stands. I've got one on my desk at work and at home. I like having my phone elevated off the desk.
A bonus use with the desktop stand, they have some decent weight and I'm able to use them with my 10.1" tablet (in landscape) without them tipping over.
Edit: Darn it! I didn't realize the desktop stand was available in a gloss black vs the chrome.
Edit 2: You keep a 2nd phone mount in your car for passengers? I've never heard of anyone doing that.
Not op, but I had the BTC450. Really great quality, and adds huge convenience of Bluetooth: it has a microphone built in for phone calls; one touch support for changing songs, answering/hanging up phone calls, etc; it looks nice and has a matte black finish to it; it is super small, doesn't take up any space either.
Here's the Amazon link
I came from a Nexus 5 rooted on 4.4.4KK vanilla with some tweaks, which is almost as ancient sans the LTE (yes I'm still using it as a backup phone/random gaming phone at home). Here's what I've learned.
Case - I'm using a Spigen Rugged Armor, surpsingly it's thinner (despite it's name) than the Ultra Hybrid that's so popular. It is a bit tacky with the fake CF at the bottom, but the phone has just the right amount of grip, and buttons/ports are all working as intended. Can't complain about the price.
Screen Pro - although everyone has their choices, at least in Canada we don't get a good price on amazon.com so from amazon.ca the CaseBase 2-in-1 is the best for full coverage (only cutouts for the earpiece speaker and prox sensor) for the money
The swiping down from the fingerprint sensor on the back is actually quite easy to do, even with a case on. Definitely easier than trying to get to the top to swipe down one-handed (at least the way I hold my phone).
SystemUITuner - Enable battery % - Waiting on NRT, but WugFresh's Pixel XL was lost in shipment, so it's going to be a while till we get it.
Turn on the notification light (yes, there's one hidden in the earpiece speaker grill). Settings --> Notifications --> Gear Icon --> Pulse notification light
If you care about e-mail, make sure to enable gMail to have unrestricted background data access. I found when the phone was "sleeping" e-mails weren't being pushed so a notification could wake the phone and notify me. Settings --> Apps --> Gmail --> Data Usage. This also works for any other apps you want to be able to use data while the phone is in doze.
So.... I, too, hate cases on phones but I'm SUPER prone to dropping my phone.
Enter the Spigen case.
You can thank me for this one later... I use this on my Pixel and it is awesome. Super lightweight but protects the phone from screen-down drops. I've dropped my Pixel at least a dozen times now and it's got nary a dent on it.
Hey everyone. I just recently got the amFilm curved TGSP. So far I like it. It does have a dot matrix, but it's only visible if you look for it. I would never notice it otherwise. I have no touch sensitivity issues either. The TGSP works great with my Fabric case as well! It was super easy to apply. I do have a small rainbow effect, but I've been seeing that if you give it a day or two, it goes away, so I will update with that. I feel comfortable recommending this, especially for the price. Here's a link.
Edit: rainbow effect is already gone less than an hour in. If you hold your phone at an angle under light with this TGSP on, you can see the dot matrix but I'm not too bothered by it. This is more personal preference though so take it with a grain of salt!

I've got a Diztronic TPU Matte case and I love it. Just one caveat: If you search, me and a few other users have experienced a slight flaw in the case where the top of the phone isn't quite as snug as the rest. I've had mine replace once, and the new one is better but not completely fixed. It's not a deal breaker - I'll still recommend the case but wanted to let you know. They did make this statement to me via e-mail earlier:
>We had our design team investigate and it looks like the "click" will be a common issue with this case that is not fixable at this point in time. What we have decided to offer is free returns for customers who wish to return the case. If you'd like to return for a refund, let me know and we can get that started for you.
I'm not sure if this is just the Pixel XL (like I have) or the regular Pixel as well.
Had the same X-level case for my 2XL, but can't find it for the new 3.
I usually go with the OnePlus/Bear Motion-style sandpaper slim cases. Lately you can find them made by Anccer on Amazon.
Really great thin protection, definitely not a bumper case or an OtterBox, but offers plenty of protection for me.
Also the gritty texture helps me not drop my phone.
Really happy with it so far.

I bought these:
Screen protector
Case
Had them since Oct 2017 and still going great. Case is tight, not stretched. I cracked one screen protector with my keys and bought another.
Only issue I've had with the screen protector is it doesn't adhere to the screen, it just sticks around the edge.. so I get dust under it occasionally. But, it's also easy to pull off (intentionally mind you) and clean, so you can re-apply it and it works great again. Looks great.
I've been using this case for a year now
Google Pixel Case, Maxboost mSnap Thin Cases [Perfect Fit] [Black] EXTREME Smooth Surface with Anti-Slip Matte Coating for Excellent Grip Hard Protective PC Covers For Google Pixel 2016 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M3MQCG0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_HlkbAbZENNH2X
It's a little fragile around the edges, mine has gotten a crack at the corner joint, but it fits perfectly and has worked pretty well. Just don't get in the habit of popping it on and off a lot and it's fine
Pixel 3 XL cases on Amazon & w/ Amazon Prime for $15<
Pixel 3 XL screen protector on Amazon w/ Amazon Prime for $15<
amFilm is a pretty reputable brand & I’ve never had problems with their screen protectors.
I like to listen to music, but this adapter can't listen to music and charge at the same time.
But I have been bought the 2 in 1 usb c to audio headphone adapter and charger on Amazon by ARCHTO with only $22.99. It Compatible with Pixel 3/3 XL, Pixel 2/2 XL, HTC U11, U12, U Ultra, Huawei Mate 10/10 Pro/P20/P20 Pro, Essential PH-1, Sony Xperia, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nubia Z17/Z17S, Oneplus and more smartphones with USB-C port.
It has Hi-rec DAC (24 bit/96khz) dongle chip and PD fast (max. 3A) charging chip. It can let me enjoy music and charging at the same time. And the sound quality is very good. Friends who need can also try it.
https://www.amazon.com/Pixel-Headphone-Adapter-Charger-Cancelling/dp/B07HG6L3F6
At the very least. I would recommend a grip case. I love my XL and all, but it's a bit too slippery. I bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M1DZT8K/ref=pd_sim_107_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=DHQ5KRQT7ER5F3M4FPBG for mine (the XL version, of course). I'm loving it. It's TPU, so it's flexible, yet semi-rigid. It adds almost nothing to the size of the phone and it grips pretty well.
I really like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009NLTW60/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_ZA9YAb47229A6
Aptx audio, so quality is great. I've gone through more car Bluetooth adapters than I wish to admit, and I'm finally happy with this one.
But I recommend picking up a ground loop noise isolator regardless of what adapter you go with.
I don't get a case for screen protecting but to not accidently hitting button combinations, so I'm always looking for something with cutouts like this: Anccer Colorful Series Google Pixel 3 Case Ultra-Thin Fit Premium PC Material Slim Cover Google Pixel 3 (Not Google Pixel 3 XL) - Gravel-Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HQKLZ3T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_A733BbW416N07
It is super slim and it should at least protect the edges on a fall. I never cracked a single glass using these kind of protectors.
I had a Spigen tempered glass screen protector on my Pixel XL, and absolutely loved it. It only had adhesive around the edges, but if it was dot matrix, you wouldn't know it. Or maybe it wasn't dot matrix, I don't know, but I couldn't even tell I had a screen protector on.
I have not found anything similar for the 2XL. I have the Amfilm one on now, and it's not bad, but the dot matrix is clearly visible and I think touch sensitivity has suffered a bit. I am disappointed to see that Spigen doesn't have anything for the 2XL. Based on what I've read, it seems the Amfilm is the best TGSP out of all the mediocre options, but I would love a TGSP just like the Spigen one I had. Anyone know if Spigen has plans to make one, or if there's another one that is very similar?
I just got this case and I love it. The only down side is it can be tricky to find Volume buttons without looking
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07KRZQT9C?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
I had this case but highly recommend you stay away. It has a texture on it that at first seems great for grip but then it actually starts to make your fingertips feel weird. I ended up taking a very fine sandpaper to it to get it all smooth. Then the Corners started cracking to the point the top two corners fell off. I assume they cracked just from Taking it off and putting it back on maybe a handful of time over 4 months
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07HW294P9?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
I have been tempted to try the tempered glass case but just can't bring myself to get it
https://www.amazon.com/ESR-Tempered-Compatible-Scratch-Resistant-Absorption/dp/B07HR53N76/ref=mp_s_a_1_26?keywords=pixel+3+xl+case&qid=1558155111&s=gateway&sr=8-26
I've always used Diztronic cases from my Nexus 4 and 5, now purchased one for my Pixel, will let you guys know how it is, but I'm pretty positive it will perform flawlessly like how it did with my prior phones. Numerous of drops and impacts to the device and not one issue.
They also introduced couple new colours too

I know this horse has been beat dead, but after scouring different threads and articles I'm still a little confused. For context, I just ordered myself a Pixel XL tonight (hype!) and in preparation I've been researching charging solutions. I'm aware of the amazing list Nathan K. and Venson Leung have for different cables, however I'm not 100% on what I'm looking out for. What am I looking for in power adapters? I know the pixel xl is "rated for 18w" charging, but is that the max before I damage something or maximum efficiency? Am I only worried about wattage? (Of course, P=IV. I know the basics but I know it can get complicated) I know the cable is equally important, but what about adapters? I have a whole bunch of (stock) Samsung charging adapters and cables (5V/2A - Micro USB) lying around and was hoping I could use a MicroUSB to USB-C adapter like this to make use of them. Is this feasible?
Any help is greatly appreciated. I hope this is support-y enough for this thread, otherwise I can make a seperate post about this.
p.s. I've also read throug the "More info on chargers by / u/ Nathan-k" linked in the side bar but it didn't quite clear up my confusion.
I gave up on the tempered glass options and went with a film one I had on my Galaxy S7 and liked. I went with the IQShield LiquidSkin and it's a great fit. It's much better with finger prints compared to the power support junk too.
I really like Maxboost case. Super thin, snug fit and not slippery (especially after a week or so). Also not too grippy when trying to get it out of your pocket. The buttons seem hard to press at first but got use to it really quickly and prefer to push the actual buttons if it means the case can be thinner. I dropped my phone on tile the other day face down and the raised edge protected the phone beautifully.

I hate cases and liked the bear motion on my 6p, but the cutout for the Lazer camera sensor was too small and every tiny speck of dust that got in there interfered with the focus. Finally found a case I like to replace the bear motion : https://goo.gl/photos/hquXUXvq5YY9dwbN7
LOL at my inception pic
Here's the case in amazon : https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01M3MQCG0/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's a bit slippery but has a really nice feel and is minimal with button cutouts, I can't stand cases covering buttons.
Which one do you think is the "grippiest"? I've tried all of the ones I've listed below but they're all just not very grippy. If I angle my open hand at all, it starts to slip. I never had that issued with the Ringke Slim on my iPhone 5S. I like the super low profile of the Suensan and Bear Motion but none of them feel grippy to me. The Bear Motion has the most grip but even that one is underwhelming.
Diztronic
Bear Motion
Suensan Pc Slim Ultra Thin
Yaker Black TPU
I tried this one on amazon. The Amfilm Tempered Glass 3 pack. Its full adhesive and is pretty good.
Theres a lot of trash ones so watch out lol. Plus if you ever need another one you can go to their website and theres a warranty claim section for a free replacement just have to upload photos.
Last time i was to a Saturn haven't seen any Pixel accessories, maybe just call first? But if there's nothing in the online store.. I think you're out of luck. :)
Free (as in: I have Amazon Prime) same day delivery is applicable to this case, which i can recommend (apart from it being a bit ugly..):
https://www.amazon.de/Spigen-Elastisch-Schwarz-Ultimative-St%C3%BCrzen/dp/B01M1DZT8K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486198889&sr=8-1&keywords=spigen+rugged+armor+pixel
I'm loving this Spigen Rugged case so far. Very easy to pop on/off and it looks great
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M1EEXWJ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I just got a clear protector (case friendly) from IQ Shield, and it's great. I tried a matte protector (full screen coverage) first, but I didn't have the patience to do the edges and ended up going with this one.
The protector itself is still larger than the actual display area and the borders work great with the Spigen Thin Fit case (I got it because of the cutout for a magnetic mount plate) which I'm also using. It's not a tempered glass protector, so you do get that plastic-y feel and small amount of the orange peel look, but that's just a fact of life with the wet-apply, plastic protectors.
I have four different types of cases but my favorite by far is the Bear Motion Ultra Slim Case I have it in red and it looks great on my black Pixel. The red looks kinda pink on amazon but it is just red.
Also have the Spigen Rugged Armor for when I think I may need a bit more protection.
Hi there! here are some suggestions for power banks that satisfy any needs you can have for the purpose of charging the pixel line and like devices
I highly recommend these ones because I have had experience using these and feel they check all my boxes. That is, they support USB Power Delivery (PD) and Qualcomm Quickcharge (QC), and in effect rapidly charge all my devices that support fast charging:
[Jackery Power Bar] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076DXWPHS/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?psc=1)
This one is my favorite because it also has an AC outlet to charge most U.S. laptops. It is so freaking convenient for studying on my computer on the go.
[iWALK Power Bank] (https://www.amazon.com/iWALK-20000mAh-Portable-Delivery-Nintendo/dp/B078NSC4QG/ref=sr_1_22?ie=UTF8&qid=1520746914&sr=8-22&keywords=usb+pd+power+bank)
Here are some that I have not owned, but after research seem to be worth recommending (of course, do your own analysis). I believe all three of these support USB PD and Qualcomm QC:
[Anker PowerCore] (https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-20100mAh-Portable-Delivery/dp/B071WNWRNC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1520744694&sr=8-4&keywords=usb+pd+power+bank)

Here are some that I am skeptical about for different reasons, but they did catch my eye while researching:
[PURIDEA Power Bank] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0794V63VJ/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B0794V63VJ&pd_rd_wg=OQUVw&pd_rd_r=42A3W5CMQPF2VADS872F&pd_rd_w=NlRw8)

Let me know if you have any questions. Disclaimer: I am not associated with any of these products.
I have the amFilm TGSP for my 2 XL.
It was good at first. Adhesive only on the edges. Dot matrix pattern. I noticed no rainbow effect like the Spigen ones had for the Pixel 1's.
Today, I notice there's a hair between the screen and protector. Seems it slipped in through the adhesive.
I went to their store and saw that they have a version with stronger adhesive, so I contacted them and am awaiting feedback.
If the TGSP is the same, but has stronger adhesive, then it's a win in my book.
Zagg Glass is probably one of the better ones even though they're expensive. There are cheaper alternatives on Amazon, however, dust creeps in after a few weeks of use and you do get a little bit of the rainbow/ oil effect when the screen is off. Least with Zagg, you get a lifetime replacement if you keep breaking the protector.
Check out Whitestone Dome for the Pixel 2 XL too. Pricey, but looks like it solves all of the curved screen problems everyone runs into from time to time.
Personally, I have https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075WW69PS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it works great with cases (X-Level Guardian and Spigen Rugged Armor). I do have the two issues I mentioned above, but so far it really hasn't bothered me all that much yet.
Cheap, clear TPU case that looks great:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074T74VCB/?coliid=I3O6H5OFINCPQH&colid=55ISL60ZXB13&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
IQ-Shield screen protector. Cheap, you get two, the camera and sensor hole fully encompass them, and best of all lifetime warranty so if you get a scratch or don't apply it correctly, they replace it.
https://www.amazon.com/Protector-LiQuidSkin-Case-friendly-Anti-Bubble-Anti-Scratch/dp/B073RV6PQD/ref=sr_1_3?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1521752418&sr=1-3&keywords=pixel+2+xl+screen+protector+iq+shield
I love my black Maxboost case. It's pretty thin and looks badass with my Quite Black. When I had an iPhone it was also my favorite brand of case. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M3MQCG0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Tr8oyb0SYHJVN
I even bought and returned one of the $40 Google cases with the map print. It just didn't look as good as the really cheap Maxboost.
You can connect your phone to multiple devices that handle different features. My BF's Maxima only has phone support, but he uses a Kinivo Bluetooth Receiver plugged into the aux port for A2DP audio. Phone calls still go through the car's handsfree system. I recommend you look for a bluetooth receiver that supports Apt X to get better audio quality. This is the one we use

https://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTC450-Bluetooth-Hands-Free-Input/dp/B009NLTW60
I don't like the bear motion because it leaves the top and bottom wide open. I got the Max boost Msnap and love it. It's super thin, phone almost feels naked
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01M3MQCG0/ref=sxts1?ie=UTF8&qid=1481248703&sr=1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65
This caseology one
Edit
And I should add it's been amazing. I pinched it in between the sliding door of a van and it saved my pixel. Even the glass screen protector I had saved my actual screen. I've dropped it on the corner so many times as well and this case has been rock solid.
I've heard that the screen really only scratches if you happen to put it in a pocket with some grains of sand in there. Scratch tests on YouTube show you have to really go to town on it with stuff beyond keys to make it scratch.. but sand is just brutal for every screen.
I went with the Diztronic for my Pixel:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M4KCDU5/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The Pixel is coming on Thursday so can't speak to it yet. But I wanted just a slim minimalistic case. Judging by the reviews, it seems like this case has nailed the covered buttons. Still super clicky and responsive despite being partially covered.
I'm going to try the screen protector. If it looks bad, I'll probably just go naked screen and hope for the best.
[This one from amFilm]
(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075WW69PS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) is great. It was easy to install and comes with a great warranty.
I'm on my 2nd Spigen and it seems to be very prone to scratches. It covers the phone extremely well fitment (sp?) wise but it seems a little on the fragile side. I just ordered the IntelliArmor so I'll see how that one works out. I'm in the united states and picked it up for like 12 bucks. Worth a shot.
I really like the slim case by Diztronic. The protection aspect is probably better in the Spigen, but it's still pretty good and you have some color choices.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075WW69PS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_eqHhAbE3G66F7
Yes. I have the Spigen tough armor and it fits perfectly. Dust collects just like any glass screen protector. This has a good amount of adhesive. I used amfilm glass protector previously with my Nintendo Switch so I knew the company was reputable.
I've got an updated Tempered Glass from amFilm with much better adhesive. In my post history you can see me trash the version one and tried new ones.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075WW69PS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_acZ-zb3DAMT2G
If you have a Version 1, send them an email via Amazon and they sent a replacement.
It's much better. There's sometimes a "rainbow" oil streak depending if there's moisture and humidity in the air which couldn't be helped due to no adhesive on the clear glass it self. So far, I am very satisfied. Better adhesive and no popping sound from poor adhesive. If you want to give this one a try, I would recommend it with the updated version.
Note: it's a dot matrix design and the dots are visible if the screen is off or tilted in an angle to the light.
Best screen protectors I could find when I bought them were definitely these.
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07J1XSCPD
They seem to get the least hateful reviews, and they fit in an otterbox just fine with no modification.
Looks promising! I picked up this Bear Motion case off Amazon and really ended up liking it. Has a sandstone finish like the OnePlus One and it's as thin as the Spigen Thin fit cases. Only gripe is that it doesn't cover the top or bottom chin.

Google Pixel 2 XL fabric case in carbon
I wanted to love this case. My problems with it are it's super slick, doesn't seem to offer much drop protection, and it's hard to pull down notifications with the fingerprint scanner. Also the screen protector sticks out past the lip of the case. I'm not clumsy by any means but I think the average person drops their phone at least a few times over the lifespan of it. I'll probably be returning it in a week or so once I decide on a more durable case. Aesthetically it's great, practically not so much 2.5/5
https://www.amazon.com/Protector-amFilm-Tempered-UPDATED-ADHESIVE/dp/B075WW69PS
The amFilm TGSP with updated adhesive is a really good. I saw the shitty reviews on the original one but so far 0 complaints with the updated one. 4/5
For minimal, this is almost certainly your best bet: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01M4KCDU5/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478135708&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=diztronic+pixel&dpPl=1&dpID=418SgtXrLNL&ref=plSrch
Had one of these for my OnePlus One and I loved it!
These cases actually have a sandstone feel to the back similar to the Oneplus One. I had one of these for one of my devices and absolutely loved it.

The point of these slim cases in my opinion is to protect from scratches from in your pocket or sliding across a table rather than dents and dings that you'd get if you dropped the device. I'd recommend this from personal use. It is slim, protective, and aesthetically pleasing.

EDIT: Added more cases.
I have the Spigen Rugged Armor Case and man I love this case. The design is superb and it's very grippy. I know this phone won't be slipping out of my hands.
No kickstand though, but it is a great case.
I've got the regular sized version of this case and so far I've been ok. But yeah, it's the exact same case, just smaller. I'll be keeping an eye out for that slot to make sure it stays clean. Thank you for the heads up!
Glad to help! I was looking for a new case as well and was going to order a live case until I saw that article. Ended up going with this one instead. I'm glad you were at least able to get a refund on the case.
I am a big fan of Anker products. I've bought portable battery packs from them, cables, adapters, without issue.
Here is a usb-c to usb-c cable:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A6G0CTQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Here is a usb micro to usb-c adapter:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AHKYIRS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Here is a great car charger that supports fast charging and other usb types:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G5B069C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I've bought all 3 of these products and had no issues (been a few months now). The usb micro to usb-c is nice because now you can re-use all of those cables from your old phone you have laying around.
I have the Anker-branded ones, which have been reviewed by Benson Leung: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Adapter-Converts-Resistor-ChromeBook/dp/B01AHKYIRS
They work great. They're a little more expensive, but Anker is generally high quality and has good support.
I love my Maxboost case.
Here's a few pics of it on my Pixel. It's very thin, fits well, and has great coverage. There's a small lip over the front to protect the screen. The bottom doesn't have jagged edges to hurt my pinky with the phone is resting on it, and it has a nice "soft touch" finish. It isn't super grippy, but miles better than slick plastic or the metal on the naked phone.
Google Pixel Case, Maxboost mSnap Thin Cases [Perfect Fit] [Black] EXTREME Smooth Surface with Anti-Slip Matte Coating for Excellent Grip Hard Protective PC Covers For Google Pixel 2016 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M3MQCG0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_MnLhzb4KWKC04
This is the one I have. Really thin, fits well, protects everything. I really like it
I recently bought this charger and am really happy with it. I get rapid charging in the car which is usually when I need it most. Definitely recommend it.
If you have a Quite Black Pixel this Maxboost mSnap thin case looks phenomenal on it. I have one and it matches the quite black color perfectly. It's also extremely slim and has great grip after ~1 week of use.
If you have any extra micro USB cables handy, I'd recommend using a micro to C adapter like these. Been using one in my car and it's been working really great.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AHKYIRS/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
For the standard Pixel, I recommend the Spigen
RuggerRugged Armor (this is what I have) and for the Pixel XL, I recommend the Spigen Neo HybridPersonally, I've used Spigen cases for a while now and they've always served me well. I'd have opted for the Neo Hybrid for my Pixel is they made it, unfortunately, they don't. That being said, I'm very happy with the Rugged Armor case.
That's awesome, I'm still waiting on my Pixel to get to me. I do have a N5x and when I upgraded I just got these. They work well and it was way easier than rewiring the USB I had to in my car for Android Auto.
This may be a tad too thick for your liking, but being a "case hopper" I try a lot of cases and I think this one will be staying on my Pixel XL for a while:
Caseology Parallax:
https://www.amazon.com/Google-Caseology-Parallax-Geometric-Textured/dp/B01M4HN5XV/ref=pd_lpo_107_bs_tr_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=N1TVKBE8SYJAXTWR6J90
I also have a Rhinoshield bumper which I like but I wanted to try something a little slimmer around the edges.
I also put some GT5000 grip tape around the edges to improve the grip. I am finding myself putting this on all my cases these days.
Parallax with grip enhancement:

Seems like the perfect place to ask!
As /u/afjeep says, the Spigen gets good mentions.
I can definitely recommend that you NOT get the Zerolemon. It doesn't fit the curve at the edge of the screen, and leaves an 1/8" "halo" of un-adhered protector. It hasn't caused me any problems, but it isn't a good design.
I've never seen a fingerprint sensor protector. I don't think it's a capacitance sensor, and I suspect that it might not function if covered. I'll go cover mine with Saran Wrap and see if it works...
EDIT: Wow! It works! I'm amazed! It reads my fingerprint and swipes through a single layer of plastic wrap. It correctly rejected my other fingers, but responded to the ones I'd previously stored. When a little piece of the plastic folded over and created a bit of second layer, it stopped working. So. One layer good, two layers bad.
Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear case is really nice, buttons are very easy to use.

This is the case I have on my really blue XL and its perfect in every way except sometimes little particles will get in from the finger sensor area other then that its great.
amFilms screen protectors are finally out on Amazon. I got the non tempered glass film one and it's great. Waiting for the tempered glass to get here 😁

I like that it makes it so the phone doesn't slide around on surfaces. Seems to work great so far. I had one on my previous phone as well and that's why I got it a second time.
This. Fairly thin and good grip but offers great protection https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M1EEXWJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_iRPgybXDSEJMY
The Incipro does look charming.
I'm not so fan of the clear case.
The Diztronic, well... The logo on the side is a huge turn-off for me.
It seems like Body Glove Mobile doesn't offer Pixel cases online, hm.
I got this one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0172QQNBY
Works perfectly. Looks like a quality item, arrives in a very nice box, all shiny, no mould marks.
I love my Oreo Pixel XL! Slapped this on my white/silver Pixel XL as soon as I got it :)
I use the Nekteck 5.4A USB-C Car Charge(4019006) which I highly recommend. It's a Benson approved USB-C car charger and has a standard USB A port as well. Amusingly enough it seems to charge my phone faster than the stock Google pixel charger though this hasn't been tested.

I specifically bought this case to increase grip and it does very well without really adding bulk. A bonus is I put one of those metal plates on the inside of it and I can now use magnetic mounts in my car.
I have this one and a few of my friends have also bought it due to recommendation, we all love it: https://www.amazon.com/Protector-amFilm-Tempered-UPDATED-ADHESIVE/dp/B075WW69PS
I just got this AFTER dropping my pixel, minimal damage but this would have helped so much. Really nice case, not slippery and looks and feels better in person.

It is Benson Leung approved. And it works great very fast charging!
Good luck to you - I went with the IQ Shield - works decently but do have 2 tiny bubbles near front facing camera. Not bad though as they don't really bother me. At about $8 it was worth.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073RV6PQD/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
That charger looks great. I chose to keep my existing charging cables and use a micro USB to USB C adapter. This is what I bought.
Between the charger that comes with the Pixel and the coverter cable I have all the dedicated USB C cables I need. I use the converters for my car and my office.
Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear case. I love it so far! Shows off the phone and offers decent protection.
Not tempered but I've got this one and really like it.
I've never done a wet install before so I thought for sure I'd fuck it up...there'd be bubbles or dust trapped underneath it. But the instruction video was really good and miraculously I got it on perfect on the first try.
The texture is nice...more on the rubbery side but its smooth. Doesn't leave fingerprints or streaks very noticeably.
Links to the Anker PDs for the lazy:
10,000 mAh ($45.99)
20,100 mAh ($99.99)
26,800 mAh ($129.99)
I personally have the 10,000 mAh for my Pixel 2 XL. My phone already lasts all day with my current usage and this battery bank can charge it almost three times over while still being small enough to fit in my pocket. It comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, and the battery itself can also be charged via your everyday phone charger. PD means it's capable of fast charging (verified by the "charging rapidly" notification on my lockscreen. I used it to camp at Paradiso this year (two-day music festival) and it was perfect.
The other two are overkill, but they seem handy for charging all your friends' devices and laptops on week-long trips.
Here is the one for the normal pixel:
Would just like to state that I am not affiliated with Diztronic in any way. I just really liked their case for the Galaxy Nexus back in the day so I decided to try this one out. A note that the XL version is a bit loose at the top. Left them a 3 star review too lol.
You really can't go wrong with any of them. I have the Rugged Armor, but I've heard good things about the Neo Hybrid as well.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nekteck-Charger-Adapter-Integrated-Macbook/dp/B0172QQNBY (it's on Amazon US as well). Charges rapidly and looks pretty good :). Has a type c cable built in which clicks in well and doesn't fall out. I have my dash cam plugged into the standard usb slot and it will power that and charge the phone at the same time (I use Google maps for navigation).
dont know if you are still looking or not but I have this Bear Motion case and I love it. Doesn't offer much protection though
I got this one before it went out of stock

I will let ya'll know if its any good once I receive the phone!

EDIT: Just like u/tweetibird mentioned the edges are not sticking on this screen protector..Over all its not that bad tho and I barely notice it
I bought two but have only installed IQ Shield. I was doubtful about IQ shield but it's damn near perfect. It's not a tempered glass but feels really smooth, I'm not sure you'd know the difference. When/if you install it...watch their instructions and if you still have a few bubble areas, let it cure over night....it should work those out and look great afterwards. Mine looked yucky at first but the next day, wow. The other one I bought is tempered but not sure if I'll even need to put it on. Here are the two links.....

Get a Bluetooth adapter for the aforementioned aux port. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009NLTW60/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_nMpWBPsncdEok
This is one that supports aptx, works well, has pass through cig lighter cord with USB port built in so you don't need to worry about battery. Might want to get this as well, depending on how well your stereo is grounded. I experienced weird buzzing but my aux jack is soldered (by me) to my tape input, so I'm not surprised there was issues. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019393MV2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_GwFAL9sbYR2Z4
Anyway that's like $40 to turn your car stereo into fancy and not have to fuck with the aux cables again (which for me were always wearing out anyway.)
Here's the case. I love it so far. What type of pictures in particular would you like?
I been using Spigen for many years and always would recommend them.
Another Redditer suggested
this one for a glass screen protector for the 3XL. I love it so much I bought a 2nd back up package.
I recommend using your current magnetic micro-usb cable and getting this USBC adapter:
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Adapter-Converts-Resistor-ChromeBook/dp/B01AHKYIRS
It's not quite what you're looking for, but it will be safe to use.
Apparently USB-C is a dramatically more complicated design, and easier for a bad cable to create a problem that could fry your device. Call me paranoid, but I'm only using Google's cables and the previously mentioned adapter until the market develops a little more. For example:
"A good cable uses a deep-draw extrusion method that produces a Type C plug that is a single piece of metal and does not have a visible seam on one side of the plug," said Tim North, a senior product manager at Monoprice (which recently had a cable approved by Leung). A folded and stamped connector, North explained, is usually made of zinc tin alloy which is easily broken and may not handle the cable's power requirements."
I have a silver XL with this case... https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Hybrid-Cushion-Technology-Protection/dp/B01M12Z4VQ I'm very happy with it. More protection than the Google clear case and really shows off the phone
Most minimalistic case I have found yet. Got it today and love it so far. Very thin and adds a ton of grip. Fits very well.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01M3MQCG0/ref=sxts1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478141531&sr=1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N63XLQ6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the one I have that has the black edges. There's also a version with white edges. Some people complain about air bubbles in the middle, but I believe they were just applied poorly. I put mine on, waited 20 minutes, and decided to pull it off to adjust it. Fit perfectly with no bubbles.
This adapator is awesome and works really well with aux in. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009NLTW60/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_jHrxCbZ7RR2C0
I've got this Maxboost mSnap and it's pretty sleek compared to my Caseology, which I use every day for the extra protection.
I tied a small quick release lanyard to the mSnap and attach it inside my ski jacket. Still fits nicely with that loop through there.
I recommend waiting for a sale on the Anker Powercore Speed 20000 PD + 30W PD Wall Charger bundle, I got it for $60 a few months back. Gets me about 5-6 charges on my 6P, charges rapidly, and having an additional wall charger + cable has been really nice. Anker makes top quality stuff and it's a really good deal if you can hold out for the sale price.
https://www.amazon.com/charger-Nekteck-Charger-Adapter-Integrated/dp/B0172QQNBY
Yeah that's the only thing holding me back is they haven't reviewed it. But the reviews are great and I haven't heard any issues.
I personally love this one, but what u/recon455 said is 100% true. You won't need much. This is probably overkill, but it's up to you.

I've been using Supcase Unicorn Beetle cases for every device since the Nexus 6. They look great and are fairly protective as well.
https://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Unicorn-Protective-Premium-Release/dp/B07KRZQT9C
I had the same issue and ended up settling with a non glass protector, until I looked on Amazon again and found this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075WW69PS/
It's my first adhesive around the sides only protector and was surprisingly easy to install. Micro dust specks don't matter anymore because there's no adhesive on the clear parts. The only issue I had was one time I dropped my phone and the screen protector just popped off. I stuck it back on but there was visible dust underneath it from the ground. Contacted support and they sent a new one out.
Spigen makes a good TGSP for the OG Pixels.
Spigen Google Pixel XL Screen Protector Case Friendly / Tempered Glass / 9H Hardness for Google Pixel - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N63XLQ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_oIKbAbNRAVQPC
I've bought multiple of these tempered glass screen protectors on Amazon and use them along with a phone case. The screen still has the same feel and responsiveness.
They hold up really well against cracking during everyday use and normal drops and falls. The only minor problem I've had is that dust can occasionally work its way under the protector, leaving tiny little spots (but that's on a phone that is constantly in a very dusty environment). I dropped my phone screen side down on dirt/gravel and accidentally stepped on it. The screen protector shattered of course, but my phone was perfectly fine with not a scratch on the actual screen.
Edit: link to the correct phone model
I'm rocking this guy. It's my pet peeve when a case adds a lip around the front face - I like it to be as flush as possible.
This case has a textured, Teflon-feeling material. It's not very grippy, but it also is pretty resistant to finger grease. It already has a some signs of wear & tear after just a few weeks, so I may be in the market again for a super-minimal case.
Though I don't have that one, I have two Spigens for my Pixel XL, the Rugged Armor, which is good, and this one, which is probably the best case I've ever owned: [Spigen Ultra Hybrid Google Pixel XL Case with Air Cushion Technology and Hybrid Drop Protection for Google Pixel XL 2016 - Crystal Clear] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M12Z4VQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_GZZNAbRMQSDVF)
Actually it's not diztronic case

I had good luck with this one. Typing on it now and it's over a year old https://www.amazon.com/Protector-LiQuidSkin-Case-friendly-Anti-Bubble-Anti-Scratch/dp/B073RV6PQD
Car charger I highly recommend just getting an Android Auto head unit. Spendy, but so worth it. Best buy has one on sale for their deal of the day for $300.
For a power bank, I have this and travel a lot. $10 coupon on Amazon ATM: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B071WNWRNC/
It comes with a wall adapter, uses usb c port to charge, and has USB PD (fast charges both the bank and your Pixel).
Since it charges with usb c you only need 1 power adapter and cord when traveling to charge either your phone or battery bank.
I would definitely go with a Spigen screen protector if you're going to go with one. It covers the whole screen, and also works with the Caseology Parallax. I have the same case, with the Spigen screen protector here's my setup: https://imgur.com/gallery/Szvz1 the screen had a bubble but it's normal and went away in a few days. I've gotta say it's been my favorite screen protector I've had. Here's the screen protector: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N63XLQ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_7XVLybWQ5M6QT
I had micro USB cables all around (in my car, backpack, by my bed, by my computer, and at work) and I just bought a couple of these:
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AHKYIRS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Seems too good to be true. Am I not taking full advantage of USB-C tech?
Yeah, I just use my USB A to C cable when I need to connect to my PC. It helps to have a few adapters laying around until USB C becomes more common.
Oddly enough, the mobo USB C port works flawlessly with my Xiaomi Piston 3 earbuds + USB C to 3.5 mm dongle.
Easily Googleable but here are 2 of my favs:
Although, they aren't really comparable but they are good cases.

Tried a few this is the best no joke. Good protection and the power button has texture.
This is the one I ordered for my Pixel and love it! I tried the Maxboost one and while it's slim enough it's not as grippy as I prefer
https://www.amazon.com/Ultra-Slim-Case-Google-Pixel/dp/B01M0NBJ79/ref=sxts_k2p_hero1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=2668835642&pd_rd_wg=eHHUJ&pf_rd_r=BSAN5TZE8A87N1MZBASR&pf_rd_s=desktop-sx-top-slot&pf_rd_t=301&pd_rd_i=B01M0NBJ79&pd_rd_w=JTIM3&pf_rd_i=bear+motion+pixel&pd_rd_r=P070TQ4YP54D85EJMH50&ie=UTF8&qid=1478630755&sr=1
I second the Spigen rugged armor case. Was recommended to me, and it's a case that is snug, protective, and very good looking. You shouldn't have trouble putting a screen protector on with it either.

I only have experience with one case but I really like it so far.
Spigen Ultra Hybrid Google Pixel XL Case with Air Cushion Technology and Hybrid Drop Protection for Google Pixel XL 2016 - Crystal Clear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M12Z4VQ/
If you want one that works with your case:
Ideally the Griffin TGSP or the intelliArmor HD TGSP, but both are sold out right now. They're well cut out, have adhesive all over the screen protector, seemingly high quality, and work well with cases.
The amFilm TGSP is what I went with temporarily. The updated adhesive one sticks just fine, and it doesn't collide with the case at all while still covering the screen.
Provides solid enough protection, and it's not really noticeable that there is adhesive only on the edges. The dot matrix on it does suck, but isn't that noticeable while looking at the phone straight on.
A lot of others I've read are poorly cut out, have poor adhesive, or/and are very difficult to put on. Not problems with the amFilm at least, though I'd still prefer full screen adhesive & no dot matrix.
3D TGSPs are good if you don't expect to use them with a case. They do cover the edges of the screen better, though I don't feel unprotected in any way with a flat TGSP & a case. If you try to use a 3D TGSP with a case, the case edges might apply pressure to the edges of the 3D TGSP, making the screen protector come off or break prematurely.
For anyone curious about liquid screen protectors: they are fine for scratches, but unlike the TGSPs, they won't absorb impact as well in the case of a fall. This makes the screen more susceptible to cracking than if you were using a TGSP, so stick to those IMO.
I'm using [this] (https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Hybrid-Cushion-Technology-Protection/dp/B01M12Z4VQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1522206153&sr=1-3&keywords=clear+google+pixel+xl+case&dpID=41zuKuY-uvL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch) and it's been awesome. Completely invisible and doesn't add any extra bulk or weight to the phone.
Edit: and I'm still able to take awesome photos with no problems
I've been using this case for the past year and it has been holding up pretty well.
I have this one, and it looks really good. Fits the screen well and works with a case.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B075WW69PS/ref=mp_s_a_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1523138302&sr=8-10&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=pixel+2+xl+screen+protector&dpPl=1&dpID=51gXgBmTSmL&ref=plSrch
Do you have a screen protector currently that is causing the halo? I just installed this one and it seems alright so far. $8.99 for a 3pk of tempered glass. Looking around on Amazon, everything seemed to be only ok rated, so i just went for it on this one.
IQ shield liquid plastic it may be the same one you are using. I don't like the idea of dropping my phone and having it cracked either, but the screen looks nicer is more responsive and smoother. It's quite a bit to give up.

I have this case and really like it. My only complaint is that some of the larger 3.5mm headphone cables don't quite fit through the headphone jack cutout, otherwise it's awesome.
Grab a Kinivo Bluetooth kit - I've only heard great things and they're really highly rated.
I got this one from the same manufacturer:

Works great
