Features:
I dont have one currently but I have installed them.
and yes your location is a major factor. they aren't too influenced by trees and what not but height is very important. put it outside, and put it high. if you live on a hill youll get more channels then a guy in a valley.
the channels form kitchener if you care about that would be so strong that it doesnt matter
the main differences.
you will get many less channels. basically no specialty channels. youll get the CBC, global, ctv etc. PBS and fox should come unless you are in a bad location. no discovery or TSN anything like that. but obviously, there is no monthly fee.
the picture quality is excellent, and there should be no problems with reliability. since its digital basically you get it perfectly, or you dont. its possible you might have a channel right just on the border of reception that breaks up, in which case you basically wont watch it at all. storms should not have a big factor, and if so it could even be a positive factor on your reception.
also I hope 90% was a big underestimate on your sat reliability, if you have it aimed properly it should be more like 99% mine doesnt even go out when its covered in ice, only right before a giant rain storm, and then generally is back within ten minutes.
I dont install lots of antennas, mostly satellites, but if you have other more specific questions I can try to answer them for you.
that link you provided didnt really say what type of antenna it is or anything. personally i would install an antenna like this http://www.amazon.ca/Channel-Master-4228HD-Antenna-CM4228/dp/B000FVVKQM, but probably one that bends in the middle so half aims at toronto and half aims at US
Lol it's an expensive hobby especially once you start doing things that will break the board. So since you're just starting I'd recommend getting a complete set as they tend to be cheaper. Try the ward skatepark or zumiez. Other than that try Amazon just make sure they are good reviews from the people that actually ride them not just my son loves it. Stay away from places such as Walmart as its a race to what will break first the deck or the trucks. Also https://www.amazon.com/Moose-Blank-Skateboard-Assorted-Colors/dp/B003YKBQUQ are great cheap decks if you want to buy the other components individually as well. You will have to learn to apply the grip tape yourself through.
Put one of these in your kettle and clean it and your kettle once a month with vinegar. The descaler balls can be found at tea shops, home hardware, or Amazon. I've seen them elsewhere too.
We clean anything that has water going through it once a month with vinegar and it does a great job keeping things clean.
A friend has an ice shaver, and makes his own slushies. They're not quite the same, but you can make interesting flavours by mixing in whatever you want and it's a lot cheaper in the long run. He uses his A LOT (like multiple times a day) and it tends to need replacement after about 6-7 months.

So is this related to the Paisley street businesses being fronts?
There's an easy way to solve this mystery
Like this? or this?
As someone with a 2k pedelec with past thefts in guelph and different cities (cheaper bikes)
1)inside as much as possible, especially at night. Thefts have occurred in guelph quite frequently with backyards, sheds unattended or unlocked garages and even lower balconies.
2)proper locking techniques with frames and tires. Don't forget any quick releases or accessories. I've forgotten a light on my bike for a 5 minute lock up on campus and it was gone.
3) I don't recommend downtown campus for long term or overnight lock ups. Cameras won't deter everyone but it may help to put in in a surveillance that is also well lit
4) record serial numbers and keep pictures. I've gone as far as buying a $15 engraver to etch my drivers license # on the frame
5) places that don't have proper racks or sketchy places I often double u lock and use one of those extension cables. I use a small cable lock sometimes for my seat and helmet if I can't bring it with me.
6)try not to lock up to trees or slim signs that could just be lifted, broken or even kicked down
I have this lock: https://www.amazon.ca/Abus-Granit-X-Plus-HB230-U-lock/dp/B00H3T773O/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1524959812&sr=8-11&keywords=Abus
Its expensive but it actually has the best mounting brackets I've ever seen and I always have a lock available even on sleepy forgetful mornings. Abus is supposed to be a really good lock brand.
Here is a good link to a bike map resource. It includes hot spots for theft and accident prone areas. You can easily flag anything yourself including dangers such as pot holes or death traps. https://www.guelphmercury.com/opinion-story/7462888-bikemaps-org-wants-to-know-your-cycling-woes/
googled "ball pit balls bulk" and got this
I imagine it'd be easiest to get them this way, rather than try to find them locally. Having them shipped solves your transportation problem too. The downside being, it won't be cheap.
Sorry to hear about situation!
For $40, this might give you piece of mind.

My neighbour recently caught someone on camera breaking into his truck and the cops caught the guy.
