My top long fics:

Hermione Granger and the Boy Who Lived: 660k words long canon rewrite in a non-magic AU. It's so good I like it more than the original series.

Emperor, linkffn(5904185): 680k words and still in progress, a great war epic that rivals Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising in quality.

Divided and Entwined, linkffn(11910994): Voldemort was a lot scarier in this 640k words long story, and canon Horcrux Hunt would have completely failed. But Hermione and Dumbledore were up to the challenge. It's another great war epic and polit thriller.

The Accidental Animagus, linkffn(9863146): 700k words long and generally lots of fun, but Years 1 and 2 followed canon stations a little too close. Its sequel Animagus at War, linkffn(12088294), is even more fun, but the author has her priority set on another fic at moment.

My favorite 'Voldemort won' fic is Cruel and Beautiful World by Lena Phoria. Unfortunately its been taken down because the author has published a book series based off this fic, luckily for us she was kind enough to notify her readers beforehand so they could download the story. You can download a zipped file with the fic HERE.

Concerning plotholes … do you know how many of them are in JKR’s novels? Yes, you know. Is she one of the most successful writers of all times? Yes, she is. Case closed.

What really matters is the story. Yes, it should be consistent, but reader will survive even Remus Lupin forgetting it is a full moon night (think about it; how probable it is?), if the story is captivating enough.

When you have an idea, sit down write it down. Let it stew for two weeks (so you mostly forget what it is about), then read it again. Do you like it as it is? Publish it! Do you know how to correct it? Do so! Are you bored? Drop it! Lather, rinse, repeat.

Read this. Morale of the essay is: write, write, write. Don't correct yourself and produce more stories. If you write 52 stories a year, one of them should be readable (that's for professional writers, of course, if it is your hobby you do along The Real Life, numbers are smaller, i.e. you need more years to write that one good story).

I googled "Divergent" and a link to a fanfic popped up. Been the curious ten-year-old I was, I naturally clicked on it. Eventually I read a HP FF, and switched from Divergent fics to Harry Potter ones. :]

One thing I like in fanfic is deconstructions. Two deconstructions I've enjoyed are Soon I Will Be Invincible and Redshirts.

If you've read and enjoyed linkffn(Harry Potter and the Wastelands of Time), you should check out Joe Ducie's original fiction series, The Reminiscent Exile, that was derived from that fic. The entire premise of the magic is based upon the reading of fiction novels.

I'm kind of joking by posting this, because obviously it's a published novel and not a fanfic, but it truly is exactly what you're looking for.

The character in this story is still in college and whilst someone else is going through Mpreg, he isn't having any of it. Great read...

I'm not sure what you mean by "Kindle website." Do you mean browsing Amazon for ebooks to purchase?

The Kindle app is something different. You can install the app on your PC to read ebooks that way. To read fanfiction ebooks in the app you just need to copy the ebook files to the correct folder on your PC.

Here's a guide on how to do that if you like: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/13169/add-mobi-ebooks-to-kindle-for-pc/

OMG GUYS I FOUND PROOF THAT HARRY POTTER EXISTS!

https://www.amazon.com/Harry-Potter-Sorcerers-Stone-Rowling/dp/059035342X

AND THE PLACE WHERE HE WENT TO THAT SCHOOL IS IN SCOTLAND.

HARRY POTTER IS REAL 100% CONFIRMED.

You can get it here on Dropbox. -> Link

The author has published a book based on the fic and has removed the story from FF.net.

She pulled it because she's actually rewritten it into a book she's publishing.
