I use a controller for everything but aiming, since you just can't beat a mouse for accuracy.
Generally, I find 3rd person games play better with a controller (analog stick/triggers), while 1st person games play better with a keyboard and mouse (easier to look around/aim).
You can also have the best of both worlds by pairing a PS3 Navigation Controller with a mouse, like this. Use the analog stick on the navigation controller for movement, and use the mouse to look around/aim.
A gaming mouse with lots of extra buttons (e.g. Logitech G600) would be ideal for this kind of setup.
I actually worked a couple of weekends to get the 100 quid for the collectors edition! Not saying that was the most rational decision but I needed a red tie ;P Also I'm a child for models, I spent 200 on a Lego R2 D2! http://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-Creator-10225-SW-R2/dp/B007R3NTTW WOW, it's 400 there!
I've always been a pretty intense stealth player. I'm the 'Silent or nothing' type. Anyone gets even remotely suspicious I reload. I played through the whole of Chaos Theory without ever alerting anyone, breaking anything or leaving any kind of evidence that I ever existed (Unless there was some story point that made it necessary. Can't remember, it was years ago). One of the main reason I dislike Absolution is because it made pure stealth SO PAINFUL. They packed so many mission chock o' block full of guys on alert! That burned down library mission near the beginning definitely increased my lifetime anxiety!
From what I've seen and the little I've played of the beta, it's exactly what I'm wanting. So I decided to go all out. Not that I'd particularly advice it though, it definitely makes more sense to buy the intro then decide if you want the upgrade/buy each map separately later.
EDIT Just to hit home how irrational I'm being I even bought the intro pack separately so I could pre-download it and play it at midnight launch XD Obligatory "Send help".
But to be fair I live kinda out in the sticks so postage isn't always punctual.
>I haven't been there in months, are they still doing stuff like that?
We occasionally find cool stuff, and not so cool stuff like the pre-order "bonuses"
"Pre-order today and receive the Requiem Blood Money Pack and guaranteed beta access. Includes exclusive in-game items, including: Requiem Legacy Suit, Blood Money Shirt, Tie, Gloves, and Silenced ICA-19 Chrome White Rubber Duck Explosive."
We can probably arrange for "lore expert" to be set as your subreddit flair.
I love Contracts, the atmosphere and music make for a very tense Hitman game. If you want to play it on newer platforms, purchase the Hitman HD Trilogy (also on PS3.)
If you want to play the game on PC, GOG has the first three on sale today only.
Not sure about iOS but it's free on the amazon app store too: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NBY5DHX/ref=sr_1_2?s=mobile-apps&ie=UTF8&qid=1485531611&sr=1-2&keywords=hitman+sniper
Try these things. My roommate and I tried them and we got better speed in our rooms. Just an idea!

It's the special edition case for hitman 2 https://www.amazon.com/Hitman-2-Collectors-PS4-playstation-4/dp/B07DM159SQ
Have you tried playing any other games from the external? Might help to isolate whether this is a HD problem or something with Hitman specifically.
I know this is anecdotal, but I have a different model Seagate drive, and almost all of my games install and run faster from my external compared to the internal, including Hitman. In fact, from what I've heard it's common for games to run better when installed to any external, so it might just be a bad drive.
Also, you're making sure that all the episodes are moved over along with the base game, right? When I was moving things over, I noticed it initially tried to only move the base game, and I had to go to "manage game" and move the episodes over individually. If it's trying to load from both internal and external, that might be slowing you down.
So I went searching for it and came across a tradeback here ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/1524106607/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_1lf4Bb5WCS0FY ), but according to Amazon the release date is May 2019? That can't be right, can it?
When I go to Amazon to buy the game, it's a pre-order for the disk release on 1/31
https://www.amazon.com/Hitman-Complete-First-Season-PlayStation-4/dp/B00ZM6GX5I/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1483408218&sr=1-1&keywords=hitman%2Bps4&th=1
Unless I didn't read it correctly and both options are digital copies?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N5TOZI8 Here.

Wait--this article's by... the Hit Man?
And in case you all are wondering, there is a disc for contracts/h2sa on xbox 360.
Hitman HD Trilogy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AA4FDTY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_30zZDbFME1A1V
It comes with the aforementioned two games and blood money.
They are backwards compatible on Xbox one.
This is the most complete, definitive edition you can acquire, though I think the only difference between it and the GOTY Edition is the three new outfits:

Here is the mobile version of your link
That monitor is $1000 USD, the low quality of the mousepad and keyboard is insane lol
I'm in the UK and I bought mine a week ago at: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07F7M4XJJ/
I missed when it came out and didn't think I'd snag a copy, but I guess maybe someone cancelled their pre-order or more stock was made available, so I'd keep an eye on it.
Amazon says it has a notification function (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201910960) so maybe you can sign up for that and try to grab a copy if/when it becomes available.
The only other option, besides the Xbox Record feature, is buying a capture card.
Since you'd be recording on console, there'd be no need for you to get the really modern 1080p60 screw you quality ones, even my friend only record at 720p, most don't seem to care.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Elgato-Capture-Generation-Gameplay-Playstation/dp/B00MIQ40JQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1523575347&sr=8-4&keywords=capture+card&dpID=31DLdr3%252BmXL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch That is the cheapest one I found on a quick search, which incidentally does do 1080p60, butt I'd lower it down in handbrake to 720p30 otherwise it'll take you 6 years to process the video and upload it on Youtube.
