Aw man, I wish titles could be edited, I didn't even see that it autocorrected until you said something. I guess that's what I get for posting from mobile!

I saw both of those cases but wasn't overly enthused. I think I would lean more toward the blue one but was hoping for something a little more...subdued in color. I think I prefer the contoured and textured hard cases with the silicone dots like on UAG cases, and I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of options for this one, though I understand why this is the case.

I love this tablet overall. I've had several android tabs and this one is probably the best one I have had and the best suited for my purposes. I primarily use it for streaming while on the go, with the occasional web browsing session or light gaming (Hitman GO and such). I really like the speakers, which are the best I've heard on a tablet thus far, though I would prefer they were front facing.

I also wish it used USB type C for charging and data transfer, as I've gotten spoiled using that on my Google Pixel phone. the speed is a huge drop compared to my phone.

I have a laptop I use for more hardcore gaming if I'm staying somewhere other than home, though the M3 is great for on the go entertainment. I have a 2TB external HDD that I have filled with movies and shows, so it's great to have a 256GB microSD that's been loaded up for the times that I don't have internet access.

As you mentioned, I have been pretty disappointed by the lack of accessories for the M3. I have one of those small bluetooth keyboards with a trackpad that I use for typing with my thumbs. It isn't the greatest but I find I do better with it than with the on-screen keyboard. Plus using the trackpad for a mouse is handy for when I'm feeling to lazy to lift my hand and use my finger to select something, lol. In case you're interested, maybe check it out!

Overall I'd say it's a great tablet, especially for my needs. The battery is great, the speed is impressive, the sound is good, and the screen is pretty awesome. I'm not entirely sold on Huawei's approach to home/back/multitasking buttons, but it was an easy adjustment to make.

Hi there thanks, I went ahead and ordered the Honor 8 from Amazon I got it for $318 and free shipping

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M6X8SDM/ref=s9u_simh_gw_i1?th=1

^ its the 64GB sapphire blue I ordered from the seller "Lifeline" cause they have 99% positive review from over 3K reviews in 12 months it looked like the safest bet plus its also fulfilled by Amazon so yeah.

The iphone 6s my friend wants me to buy is a certified refurbished for the same price as a new Honor 8. Amazingly he isn't a iphone fan neither does he own one but he absolutely hates Huawei for some reason he says its Chinese trash, he also hates Samsung he complains about bloatware with galaxy phones. He thinks that only Qualcomm makes good chipsets because I am guessing thats all google uses for Nexus or pixel phones. He believes that Huawei cannot be trusted etc

He is my only friend and my best friend as well, he never once tried to give me bad advice in life at all but it seems when it comes to phones he has a special hate with Huawei or any android phone not using stock android for some reason he does certainly have an issue with how powerful China is becoming so that might also have an issue.

I dont trust that refurbished iphone he is suggesting, that battery might be on its way out for all we know. So I went ahead and bought the Honor 8 its really beautiful.
Plus the refurbished iphone he is suggesting to buy is only 16GB where as the Honor 8 I bought is 64GB

I wonder how beautiful the screen is though, I really like AMOLED screens for it great contrast and popping colors. I wonder how the Honor 8 LCD stacks up in terms of contrast and colors?

On my Nexus 4 the contrast and colors sucked hard

3 choices i can suggest for you buddy.

  1. UAG Plyo

Good clear case which is my current fave atm.

  2. Otterbox Prefix

My 2nd choice. Only thing that bugs me is the side grips. Too damn bumpy and noticeable unlike the Plyo.

  3. Ringke Fusion

Good clear case. The side bumpers are rubber as far as i know. Only thing that bugs me is its huge profile. But i think this one wins in terms of protection.

I chose the clear case since im rocking the twilight p20 pro. And ofcourse, gotta flaunt that sexy color lol. So yeah, your pick buddy.

1 - I've had no issues with the Bluetooth connection so far. It paired with my wireless speaker easily.

2 - I am using both a case and a tempered glass screen protector from iVoler. Both are great. The screen protector is a bit smaller than the actual screen so some parts of the glass aren't completely covered. It's not too big of an issue with the case on, though. The links are below.

  • case

  • screen protector

3 - The sound quality is decent - not terrible but not amazing. I've also found myself accidentally covering the speaker with my thumb (I hold the phone with my left hand, and balance and scroll with my right - my left thumb ends up riiight where the speaker is, on the bottom right side), so that's been something I need to get used to.

4 - Build quality is amazing - it feels great and solid in hand, and the 5.2" screen size is perfect imo. No complaints here.

I have the mediapad M3 and didn't really see that much of a selection regarding cases. Anytime you go "off brand", there's going to be limited 3rd party support for cases etc.

This one is probably the best for providing grip. Limited color selection (blue only). I didn't see any cases providing extraordinary protection.

https://www.amazon.com/MingShore-MediaPad-handstrap-BTV-DL09-Silicone/dp/B07475MHNJ

I went with this one. I'm happy with it. Good grip, easy button access and a lip around the bezel to protect the screen when it's screen down on a table. And I like showing off the Huawei brand.

https://www.amazon.com/kwmobile-MediaPad-Silicone-Protective-transparent/dp/B01MQ64GVN

I'm disappointed there aren't many keyboards specifically designed for this tablet. How are you liking the tablet?

P.S. you might want to edit your heading to get more responses. You wrote mediapad ME.

I bought mine from Amazon. It works perfectly fine for me and does supercharge my P10 Plus. It also looks identical to the original; it's of the same length and it has those purple accents. It's Amazon's Choice and fairly cheaper than the others too! So i guess it's genuine???

I've used an audioquest dragonfly with my mate 20 Pro with great success. You'll just need a USB-C adapter. I use the Anker USB-C OTG cable. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-Converts-Technology-Compatible-ChromeBook-black/dp/B01COOQIKU?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_4

This is the one I got, its a perfect fit for this laptop, and the front pocket helps to carry the dongle!

2nd that. I have a Speigen Clear case on my Breathing Crystal P30 Pro & the phone is still GORGEOUS.

No luck finding a hard case either but I did purchase a skin from amazon to protect in in the mean time from scratches.

Thank you, I've ordered these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077W89DK1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It looks like I might not get them until next week, so I hope it's fine to use my amazon fire tablet charger in the meantime.

I'm considering the same setup and I've done some research into adapters. Thunderbolt 3 docks are really expensive, especially the ones with 2 display ports + others. My plan so far is to buy a dual display adapter for the thunderbolt 3 port and a 4 port usb hub for the usb A port for keyboard mouse, + external storage.

Best deal I can find on external dual display adapter:

Well without knowing your requirements I can tell you that I've been using this dock for my dual monitor set up at work. It works great with my 1080 monitors and my usb peripherals. Also charges the laptop simultaneously. https://www.amazon.com/Monitor-Adapter-USB-C-450-AEUO-7FJ4J/dp/B01MU4SNK5/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1527688545&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=wd15+180w&psc=1&smid=A1BXRQ6Z66XGJG

Huawei MateBook X Pro Signature Edition Thin & Light Laptop, 13.9" 3K Touch, 8th Gen i7-8550U, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, GeForce MX150, 3:2 Aspect Ratio, Office 365 Personal, Space Gray - Mach-W29C https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CTHN94Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_u.5cBbES21K52

This is the link. Right now it doesn't show Amazon as a seller, only third party sellers. That's probably why the gift card offer isn't showing.

u/raptor1jec · 1 pointr/Huawei

Get this case:

Huawei Mate 20 Pro Case, SUPCASE... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L81RV9B

And this screen protector:

[2 Pack] Orzero for Huawei Mate... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N66YQH1

I'd say just take your time. Set up the Face ID thing, it's great! You can even set it up to not require any swipes to unlock, it just unlocks when you look at it.

u/brucesucksatfifa · 1 pointr/Huawei

I am als wondering if PD is supported before I get an Anker PD charger ( https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Anker-PowerPort-Delivery-MacBook/dp/B07H54MKQY/ref=sr_1_30?keywords=anker+pd&qid=1568730275&s=gateway&sr=8-30 ) and a cable, but first I need to know to know what is the max supported Watts for the P30 with PD

u/aceleyace · 1 pointr/Huawei

I noticed it's now listed on Amazon.com - HERE

UK guy here .. For the original Matebook X Amazon.com was allowing shipping to me with most of the customs charges etc sorted. I thought this might be an option for the X Pro, but now that it's appeared, it's both 'out of stock' and 'not allowing to be shipped to the UK'.

With other brands and devices I've been fond of, they normally have them on the intended UK / Europe sellers sites as pre-orders with an expected arrival date, but nothing like this with Huawei. I'm tired of Googling it lol

Edit. a word

I've got the Spigen Rugged Armor case and I quite like it.
