No they don't. One side has one crappy study from 1972. Here's a list of sources supporting the other side:

Your "research" gets minorities killed.

I live in the South Eastern parts of the United States. 14 isn't too young for children down here, sadly. Good job being a responsible European!

Apparently you can buy thin mints on Amazon. Here's a link to the glory that is thin mints. Actually they're unavailable.... hmmmm

I have no idea how to ship a box of thin mints to the UK, lol. I WANT YOU TO ENJOY THEM LIKE A PROPER HUMAN BEING!

u/BeyonceItAintSo · 4 pointsr/HumansBeingBros

Amazon has a $25 car air mattress (link) , which fits into the back seat of your car. It would really help you sleep better, and you can get it delivered to an amazon locker since you don’t have an address.

Before I was in a tight money spot myself, I used to buy food or things like the mattress for people in the r/assistance and r/RandomKindness groups. The people there are super helpful, and you should definitely post a link (with other things too if you need). I know sleeping in a car sucks, so even this little thing would make it a little easier!

Hey so, just, if you want to do something like this, it'd be miles more efficient to buy a cheaper laptop with comparable specs to a Macbook, you can help more people for cheaper.

The Ideapad 730S, is faster, cheaper, and lighter, you could buy 17 of them for the cost of 9 base model Airs. Also apple does some shady shit and[ isn't nice to consumers who want to repair their products.]

I wrote a longer post about this but my browser crashed. This is basically the TLDR, This Youtube dude is awesome but remember that there are more efficient ways to help.

FWB is great!

Assuming you mean the Okaloosa or Destin beaches that are actually on the gulf, you will have plenty of sandbars, which help form rip currents. You'll probably be able to see the sandbars from your condo, assuming you're not on the bottom floor. The rips typically form in the gaps between the sandbars.

The 'bad' news, I suppose, is that Fort Walton has smaller tides than Panama City (the location in the article) - typically just 8" or so, compared to almost 30" in Panama City. This means weaker rips.

A few tips for your trip:

  1. If you intend to go snorkeling, pick up a dive flag like this one or this one. The beach guard is really picky about you using these. Call Scuba Tech before you go to check what the beach/pier visibility has been - it can be pretty soupy off the beach if the surf is up.
  2. Skip the "Gulfarium". It's a non-AZA accredited, underwhelming little display for too much money. Snorkel the Destin jetty, fish off Okaloosa Pier, or watch for porpoises from your balcony with binoculars if you want to see wildlife. Or stop in Atlanta on your drive back up at their aquarium, it's miles better.
  3. Do visit the Naval Aviation Museum and watch the Blue Angels if their practice schedule lines up with your trip. It looks like the 18th is your day - I usually go in April when they're more frequently at home base, looks like they're traveling a lot this month.
  4. If you have large waves and wind, rent a soft-top surfboard from Fluid Surf Shop, or fly a kite. If you have low waves, go snorkeling or fishing. If in between, walk the beach or golf.

Well, I guess I don't know if everyone calls it that. That's what we called it in the Anthropology department that I went through. My advisor wrote a book that was tangentially about it:

Caught in Play: How Entertainment Works on You https://www.amazon.com/dp/0804761116/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_5oL3CbCE69FJZ

But, it might be easier to think of as a recurrence of the social opinions and thought that characterized the first Romantic movement. Glorification of subjectivism and of emotional expression. There has been a rise in the far right in virtually every country in the West and Middle East over the last 15 or so years. Part of that is due to the rise of the overall "emotional temperature", so-to-speak.

Hey I wanted to share this with you

My son is autistic and hates loud noises and these have been a God send for us for haircuts. It may still take both of you, but it won't be as loud and hopefully you can sneak a few minutes of decent haircut in there. Keep strong, it's hard I know, but you and your husband are doing great!

Cats get creative when they are bored or want attention. I have a cat that will kick my chair leg when he wants attention. Some of them need lots of attention or something to play with, others are more happy with peace and quite.

https://www.amazon.com/SmartyKat-Hot-Pursuit-Concealed-Motion/dp/B06WP7F8YC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1506393734&sr=8-2&keywords=concealed+motion+toy

This particular thing is a godsend. Sure, I play with them myself a bit but I can't be their sole form of entertainment. I can turn that on for hours and it distracts them and they get played out on it.

u/AzarothEaterOfSouls · 1 pointr/HumansBeingBros

Yep! Here is the exact same set on Amazon. :) It's super handy, doesn't take up much space, fits in my bento box, and is dishwasher safe.

u/InnovationPowerTown · 3 pointsr/HumansBeingBros

hahaha, what a thoughtful friend, I remember I also did kind of same thing when I was in college, wherever in coffee shop or bubble tea shop.~~
and this one can share more outlets to people and won't be block by large charger.

What is his favorite welding process? If it's MIG I recommend a nice pair of welding gloves, If he is a TIG guy, I recommend the TIG finger XL.

Good reflective tape like SOLAS and V92 are expensive. I've used both, and they stick very well, sometimes too well. Then there's cheap stuff like this, and reviewers are saying it doesn't stick well.

u/Battle_Bear_819 · 5 pointsr/HumansBeingBros

Pronghorns are a living Artifact in thay sense. As it sits, no predator in their natural range can catch them unless they get an ambush or the prey is wounded.

The Americas had a great diversity of large wildlife several thousand years ago. For anyone interested, I would recommend the book American Serengeti by Dan Flores.

u/fvkatydid · 1 pointr/HumansBeingBros

I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KZ36DAC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and started giving my 1-year-old (now almost 2) regular cow's milk at the same time. I think we got to open one can, and never finished it. Once she'd had regular milk, she wouldn't do formula anymore... We still have maybe 5 brand new cans, still sealed, because thinking about putting a listing on Facebook Marketplace slays my motivation even more than when I have to package something I sold on Ebay... I think it says it is for ages 1+, but if you'd be interested in it, or even just the resell value (if there is any), I'd send it your way. Have you considered signing up for WIC (I live in Alaska, and I don't know if all states have the same program)?

On the other hand the extermination campaign this started against H. Pylori was a bad thing. Microbiomics is showing the importance of complex and healthy gut flora.

Here is a book written about how H. Pylori is also one of the “good guys” in your intestinal flora

Here is a book written about how H. Pylori is sometimes also one of the “good guys” among your intestinal flora

PSA: Don’t buy the book. If you’re interested check it out from a local library. It is very interesting though.

We've had a similar situation, and my wife and I found the book "Chocolate Hair Vanilla Care" very helpful. I think there is a website/blog related to it as well. https://www.amazon.com/Chocolate-Hair-Vanilla-Care-Beginning/dp/1500666041

G7 Trung Nguyen brand coffee from Vietnam a.k.a land of the coffee. I personally think that the Starbucks cafe latte is quite weak and watery (i do get it cold w/ ice though). The consistency is a little thicker and creamier but the flavor is suuuuper rich and aromatic.
