Thanks! You said I should get the ones with the white box, is there any other way to know if they are updated? I'm particularly interested in these one's https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07GWWZBSY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_3qNZDb8DJHQWZ

By the dongles are you talking about something like this or more like what creates the virtual surround on the Cloud II's? Or are they both kind of the same principle?

Was curious searching some new keyboards and i've found out that here in Argentina we are abble already to buy this new HyperX Alloy Origin Core, which is weird since there are no reviews or anything on youtube,

So i'm posting here to let you guys know that there's already a TKL version from their popular Alloy keyboard, something that we were asking since a year!

Here's a link from Amazon for the curious too https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Alloy-Origins-Core-Customization/dp/B07YMHGP86

Yeah it's supposed to lol, you use that for your cord. But if you want to know which headset I finally landed on it's this one.

you need to make sure it's a 4-pole splitter like StarTech MUYHSFMM.

This is important!

A 4-pole 3.5mm splitter works. Depending on the distance from your computer/sound card port to your head, you might also want to get an extension cable since the Cloud II's cable is somewhat short without the USB dongle.

If you're interested, these are the ones I bought for when I am using 3.5mm:

I changed mine to these:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LDZXJLR/

Seems fine, bought it more for the red inner coloring instead of using some old brainwave pads that also fit.

i'm also considering buying the cloud flight, do you know if its any better than the Arctis* 7? i see its on sale for 99$ on amazon

u/Jonners_90 · 1 pointr/HyperX

Yup, it should. And if it doesn't work for some reason, then you can still use the controller for mic input using the splitter cable, but you'll need it dangling out of the controller using one half of a y splitter like this guy:

Think you're thinking of the Alloy Elite RGB.

Looks like the Alloy FPS RGB is just the keyboard based on the Amazon page

Yes I’m having the same issue. I love my headset but it was causing constant blue screens and panic/kernel errors. I actually bypassed the usb card and purchased a headphone and microphone splitter from amazon. This is the one I bought

I’m just waiting on the fix.

Try plugging it into a powered USB hub. This one would be fine:
