First off, I'd advise don't go for overclocking just for the sake of doing it. Reason?

  1. PC components are not designed to run at much higher clocks out of the box. When you do overclock, you need to compensate by providing additional cooling so that the system doesn't overheat. Additional cooling means additional cost.

  2. Overclocking voids warranty if the manufacturer is able to detect that you did it.

Considering that, and seeing as you're looking to mainly game, I'd suggest an Intel build:

    CPU - i5 8400 Rs. 13,290
Why did I go for it? Excellent gaming processor. You could practically forget about it and focus your upgrading attention purely on the GPU in the future.

    Motherboard - Gigabyte B360M Rs. 8070
Budget friendly, and does the job.

    RAM - Gskill RipJaws 2400Mhz Rs. 6490
Because 1x8GB sticks are cheaper than 2x4GB. And 2x4GB don't seem to be coming in kits on mdcomputers or vedantcomputers' website. They are available on amazon but dang costly.

    PSU - Corsair CX450 80+ Bronze Rs. 3200
Power supplies ensure that your components are safe from being fried by random electrical mishaps. Very important to go for at least a 80+ bronze rated PSU!

    GPU - MSI GTX 1060 3GB Rs. 20,700
Why a 3GB not a 6GB? Your budget constraints. Also a 6GB is not that awesome a performer over a 3GB as people think. Especially when we're talking for 1080p res and 60Hz display. Max gains you'll see are 10% in framerates. Oh and this is one thing that you can overclock to your heart's content!

    HDD - Seagate 1TB 7200RPM Rs. 2840

Case - Corsair Spec 1 Blue Rs. 2850
I'm not an expert in cases. But cases are the simplest part of your build (construction wise). Went for this one cause it has 2x120mm front fans, 2x120mm top fans, and 1x120mm rear fan space. Will be enough for your overclocking needs.

Monitor - BenQ GW2270 VA Panel Rs. 6990
A VA panel. Supposedly has better colours than TN panels and excellent viewing angles. 1080p, 60Hz and 22". Quite cheap too.

    Total = Rs. 64,430.

Now, since we're under your max budget, here are few options you have to improve your build:

  3. Get a GTX 1060 6GB instead of 3GB. It will cost you ~6k more. Advantages? On an average 5% increase in frame rate, at the most 10%. Here's a link to a an Inno3D GTX 1060 6GB (Rs. 26,400). Do I think its worth it? Possibly. But since you're anyway on a 1080p 60Hz resolution, you might as well save money here.

  4. Get a better motherboard. A Z370 motherboard will cost you an additional ~2.5k. Benefits? Upgradability, overclocking, and ability to put in faster RAM. In case you feel the need to go for an 8600K or a 8700K in the future, this is the MoBo you go for. Note, the curret i5 8400 does not overclock, but it is a damn good processor for gaming. Here's a link to a MSI Z370 A Pro Motherboard (Rs. 10,600)

  5. Get a better monitor. This one's upto you as I have no much information about best sub 10K monitors. The BenQ I've selected is a VA panel, which means very nice colours, but you can go for something like this LG 22MP68VQ IPS display monitor (Rs. 9820)

  6. Get an additional 8GB RAM stick, cause 16GB is just perfect!

  7. Get additional storage space by either going for 2TB HDD (Rs. 4590) or, going for an 250GB SSD(Rs.6700). I'd personally suggest the latter. It just makes your PC experience so much better when you have an SSD! Even more so with an M.2 SSD.

In the end, its upto you. If you need any more help/second opinion on parts of your build or any other questions, feel free to ask!

CPU: Great choice.

CPU Cooler: You don't need it unless you OC.

Motherboard: perfect. If you want cheaper option, /u/m0ronsoldier recommended a motherobaord for cheaper price:

>AsRock B350 Pro4 @ Rs.7180 vs. ASUS Rog Strix B350 @ Rs.9900. No major difference other than very slightly less OC'ing capability

RAM: If this model is on QVL. It is fine.

VC: Great choice. 1050 TI is very good budget card. You can play many titles on this little beast. I would sugest to think carefully before buying this card. Since you said you might upgrade, but you are not sure if you will, it is better to buy 1060. think this: you spend 12K for 1050 TI. You sell it for 8K. You buy 1060 6GB for 24K. Total money spent: 12,000 + 24,000 - 8,000 = 28K. If you just buy 1060 6GB for now, you save those extra 4K. Are you getting my point? However, it is also a good decision to buy 1050 TI and see if you will really be needing 1060 or higher-end GC.

SSD: Hmmm...Any particular reason? Besides faster loading times, faster boot, faster installation, responsiveness, there is really no need for an SSD. That said, hard disk are not that bad. I say, drop this SSD because they are costly right now and you can upgrade it anytime later. With win 10 fast startup, your PC will boot up and shut down in seconds even on HDD. If you really need an SSD, go for SATA. M.2 also gets hot faster and needs proper cooling. I would highly recommend you either drop this SSD or go for an 250GB SSD. I am learning blender, a 3D graphics software, and even I don't need a 500GB SSD. I suggest you re-invest this money on 1060 6GB. 1060 is almost 50-60% faster than 1050 Ti. You will really benefit from this VC than an SSD.

UPS: Circle UPS...Hmmm...I know they make crappy PSUs, but UPS? I am not sure. Go for APC or something better. UPS is also something I highly recommend going for.

PSU: Let us come to the main topic. 450W will do the job fine. It is not a wise decision to go for 450W if you will upgrade your components in the future. The bare minimum I recommend is 550W. This lasts longer, and have enough headroom. I say this because a PSU is something you don't really replace in a year or two. PSU is something that should last longer than your CPU and other components. Cheaping out is never a good option. Sometimes they last for longer than 7-10 years. Haha!

Go for TX650M

or

S12G

These two are very good units and better than the CX450M. Now let us again do the basic math. You buy 430W PSU for 3.6K. two years later you find that 430W is not enough for you 1070, you buy a 6.5K unit. Total money spent: 10.1K Now if you had gone for the 6.5K PSU initially, you would have saved yourself 3.5K.

Now I am not saying 430W is not enough for 1060. It is enough. But you are better off with a 550W unit. You can upgrade till 1070 on a 550W model. It will also be more efficient and will stay rather cool and there is also the ease of mind.

Wifi: there is a USB adapter that goes on selling for about 350 or 500. You can check reviews :) Completely your choice.

There was a post I made few months back, see if it helps. Here are a couple of options :

  • Samsung LC27JG54 - Sells around 20~22K during sales. 1440p, VA panel, curve, 144Hz, 95% sRGB, 300 nits brightness, min 4ms RT. Really great monitor for all games, media and I'm not sure about competitive shooters.
  • AOC C24G1 - Seen it for 17k during sale. 1080p, VA panel, curve, 144Hz, 99%sRGB, 250 nits brightness, avg 4ms RT. One of the better monitors where content looks great to view and is under 20K.
  • Samsung LC24FG73 - 1080p, VA panel, curve, 144Hz, 125% sRGB, 350 nits brightness, quantum dot, avg 8ms RT. Also one of the better monitors under 20K. The picture quality is really good but I have heard few issues related to purple artifacts and response time. It was present in the older model LC24FG70. From my usage never found such problems.

These are good monitors for excellent picture quality, blacks, response times. The TN panels are perfect for shooters and casual users. IPS has the best colors but it's difficult to find one which supports higher refresh rate and good response time under 20K. If your okay with 60Hz, 1080p and want brilliant colors. Check out LG 24MP88HV.

Happy Diwali to u as well.

Hey, I'm from Bangalore and I'm actually looking to upgrade my budget build that I made earlier this year in Feb. Which means I'm selling my Gigabyte B250M-DS3H and Pentium G4560. They're both amazing for a gaming on a budget (I get 60 fps+ easy on high settings on most games) but I'm upgrading to an i7 for work so don't need them anymore. PM me if you're interested, both parts are 7~ months old and I have all the receipts and everything, I promise to give you a fair price :)

If you're looking for something different, check out SP road. You can get some good deals there but be aware that the prices of computer parts have gone up quite a bit over the past few months. Make sure to look up what you need online and then haggle like there's no tomorrow!

EDIT: Notice you mentioned PrimeABGB. Check out The IT Depot as well, they don't charge delivery fees in Bangalore and Chennai afaik, and that's where I got my processor for cheaper than anywhere else.

u/donkanonji · 10 pointsr/IndianGaming

Ok here goes. This should be good enough for your needs:

Intel Pentium G4560 Processor - Rs. 5,990/-

MSI H110M PRO-VH Plus Motherboard - Rs. 3,900/-

Corsair Value Select DDR4 4GB RAM - Rs. 2,480/-

Toshiba 500GB HDD - Rs. 2,930/-

Antec BP450PS - 450W PSU - Rs. 2,170/-

Antec VSK 4000B Case - Rs. 2,190/-

Intex Keyboard+Mouse Combo Rs. 369/-

APC 600VA UPS - Rs. 2,300/-

Canon Pixma All-in-One Printer - Rs. 2,399/-

You can buy the parts and get them assembled locally for a fee, maybe 3-400 bucks, I think. Else if someone from here lives near you, they can probably help you assemble it.

Total - Rs. 30,328/- (including Rs. 400/- assembly fee)

EDIT: Alternatively, you can contact either MDComputers or PrimeABGB with this parts list and ask if they can assemble it for you and ship it. Also, do note that the mobo would require a BIOS update to support this CPU. If you're getting it assembled the assembler should take care to do this.

EDIT2: Took a look at the requirements for 64-bit Tally and it states 4GB RAM or more (1GB or more for 32 bit). So you can add another 4GB of RAM for an additional Rs, 2,480/- if you're going 64-bit, just in case.

Also just saw the laptop part of your request. This Asus X540SA-XX383T for Rs. 23,400/- seems like a good option. Quad core, 4GB RAM and at 2.56GHz, well above the Tally requirement of 1.8GHz. Also comes with Win10 pre-installed. The advantage with this is that you'll just need to buy the printer extra since you won't need a UPS.

HyperX Cloud Stinger Core for 3.5k (blue) - https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07BB3PYD8

I use them for gaming on console and PC. Spatial audio is really good especially in competitive games like Apex. Easy on the ears if you're gonna use it for hours at a stretch, retractable and easy-adjustable mic. There's a button to turn the mic off/on and also a volume slider. I use it for the same stuff as you pretty much and the overall sound quality is pretty good.

u/DomSS07 · 4 pointsr/IndianGaming

You want a PC + monitor in 80k right?

I'd recommend you this-

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 @16700

MSI B450 Tomahawk @9600

Corsair Vengeance 8GB @6000

Samsung 860 EVO 250GB @4650

Antec EAG550W Pro @5650

Inno3D GTX 1060 6GB @23400

Corsair 100R @2900

LG 24MP59G @12600

Totals up to 81,500.

This build will last you a long time, though you'll need to add another stick of 8GB RAM at some point later. As for NVMe, the extra speed is not worth the extra price premium you'll have to pay, and unless you're moving really large video files/projects, you'll not find the performance for the extra speed you get. All new motherboards are compatible with SATA 6Gb/s and have atleast one connector rated at that speed. UPS can be a delayed purchase as well, rather spend that money on the components now and get the UPS later. The GPU is very good for the monitor which is a 1080p IPS panel that can go upto 75Hz, and the 1060 has enough muscle to run games on high/ultra for the next year or so @60Hz. Since TX550m has a shortage of supply, I'd rather recommend you to get the EAG550W Pro offered by Antec, it's also a capable PSU rated at 80+ Gold, and PSU is a component you really shouldn't cheap out on. I hope you have an old HDD that you can reuse, or you'll have to add another 3k for a 1TB HDD, something like the Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB would be a good choice.

u/Screye · 3 pointsr/IndianGaming

if you won't even be using the side mounted keys (Which are primarily necessary for hotkey intensive games like Dota, you might as well get the Logitech G300s.

It is an amazing mouse, ergonomically.

edit:

Also, if money is no issue and you do't care too much about competitive gaming performance, then a wireless mouse should be fine.

I think it is a bit too much to spend on a mouse, and the money saved could go into getting much better peripherals. But, if you have cash to spare, go for it.

i feel that for gaming, red switches are the best, by far. They are the fastest and most responsive.

THIS is one of the best keyboard in the business around your budget.

for headphones, get THIS or THIS

i can personally recommend the former as an owner. see THIS to make up your mind

This is a very pricey build for a casual PC. I suggest you to not go with this build unless you plan on upgrading later. here are some alternatives.

Remember to always make a build around the monitor and therefore decide the monitor first.

heres a cheap one, approx rs6300

https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B0157V5TS4/

processor :- it s better to go with intel since motherboard for kaby lake s cheaper for cheaper processor.

heres a good combo

g4560, 2core 4 threads, rs4900

https://www.amazon.in/Intel-G4560-Genenration-Pentium-Processor/dp/B01NCE8T92/

mobo ,rs4300, max ram speed supported 2300mhz

https://www.amazon.in/Gigabyte-GA-H110M-S2-1151-Updated-Motherboard/dp/B06Y4SG6RY/

hdd is fine, ram is fine too

since build is light, u dont need aftermarket psu, get a zebronics cabinet psu combo for 2k

dvd drive not needed, m/kb goes for 500 locally, ups, fans not needed, speakers rs500

total cost :- 28000

save the rest for a 1050ti

sorry for the formatting.

Why did I change your build ? I did not like your RAM and MB choices, don't cheap out on them as ryzen loves fast ram and a overclockable MB .

I would say if you cant fit it all into your budget, better ditch the ssd, but get a good MB and RAM combo .

Feel free guys to change/improve this build in any way .

https://www.productchart.com/monitors/19538_vs_24988https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/9m5s1f/difference_between_msi_optix_g24c_and_optix_mag24c/I have read a bit about the difference and I think I was going to buy the mag version as it is the updated version and has a few improvements with a lesser price but when I got to billing on Newegg the price added up VAT and Shipping Cost which brought the price up to 21000 so I think I will have to reconsider my decision as Newegg states that it does not include any customs duty as well.

Because of this, I am now considering the AOC C23G1 at 22000 it doesn't have the same peak brightness and has 82% NTSC but it's coming from a source that I trust and know won't charge me any extra customs duty

there is also a more expensive Samsung LC24F at 24000 with vesa

and a much cheaper Acer Nitro at 14000 its IPS but with 75hz and 250 nits though it has vesa

Ignore all those and buy a keyboard with real cherry MX - Coolermaster Masterkeys Pro L. Yes it doesn't have RGB but do you want a good keyboard or just RGB bling?

https://www.amazon.in/Cooler-Master-MasterKeys-Intelligent-Switches/dp/B01ITE93OM

Fabulous keyboard for the money - I have been using one for over a year and it regularly goes for 5499 during sale.

u/Jc36 · 2 pointsr/IndianGaming

For headphones go for comfort instead of bling. You will be wearing them for long stretches of time, well cushioned and padded cans will serve you well. Check out the Sennheiser HD 202, very good in this price bracket and pretty comfortable. It is out of stock in Amazon/Flipkart, but it usually goes for 2k.

For monitor you can check LG 24MP88HV(24") or LG 22MP68VQ 22", good IPS panels both of them.

I'll try to rec parts from https://mdcomputers.in and https://www.primeabgb.com

CPU: For now, Ryzen 5 1600 , 13900

Mobo: Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 8059, has good VRM cooling and NVMe support

RAM: Crucial Ballistix Elite 16GBx1, 3000MHz,12100, buy 2 if you can.

If you can not, an alternative will be GSkill Flare X 8GBx2, 13562

SSD: Samsung 860EVO, 6050

HDD: WB Blue 1TB, 2920. Could also go for a 2TB HDD, price difference will be about 2k

GPU: MSI 1080ti Gaming X, 72500. One of the better 1080tis

PSU: Corsair CX650m semi modular 80+ bronze, 5700

Case: Cooler master mastercase lite 5, 3600

Monitor: Samsung 23.5" 4k TN, 28200. Pretty small for a 4k monitor.

If you need a larger one, LG 27UD68P, 37,944, and a IPS to boot.

Notes: Ryzen 2000 series will be available for purchase in 2 months, you may consider that. Also, NVIDIA is rumored to launch new GPUs soon, so also look out for that. This build is a beast an will run most stuff released till 2017 in 4k60 with High-Ultra mixed settings. Also, you may opt for a 1440p monitor. Buy keyboard and mouse to your fancy.

Total cost: 1.45L to 1.6L

u/YamiKishi · 6 pointsr/IndianGaming

You didn't mention a resolution or budget. I'm going to assume you're looking for a 1080p screen.

This here is a really good monitor: https://www.amazon.in/LG-24GM79G-B-Reduction-FreeSyncTM-Stabilizer/dp/B06XFGTGC4
It is a TN though, so color accuracy and viewing angles aren't great. But it is still a great panel.

Here's another TN panel: https://www.primeabgb.com/online-price-reviews-india/viewsonic-24-xg2402-gaming-tn-monitor/
Supposedly better color accuracy for a lower contrast ratio.

A VA panel: https://www.amazon.in/Samsung-23-5-Curved-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B01M1DEEYP
This has better color accuracy, but CFG70 is believed to have a purple ghosting issue, which is supposedly fixed in CFG73. Although, I haven't seen this model in any of the Indian e-commerce sites.
Also, this has a small curve so might not be something you want.

This could also be another option, the design might be better: https://www.vedantcomputers.com/lenovo-legion-y25f-10-24.5-inch-fhd-5ms-response-time
A few people have reported frame skipping issue with this model. So might want to look into that.

u/aj2rock · 1 pointr/IndianGaming

Thank you for the post. Been looking for a good monitor for the 1 ms 144Hz 1080p section. I have a question tho. Between Samsung C24FG73 and AOC-C24G1, which do you think is better in terms of image clarity and performance?

This is considered an excellent monitor if you are going to play competitively : https://www.amazon.in/LG-24GM79G-B-Reduction-FreeSyncTM-Stabilizer/dp/B06XFGTGC4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519774722&sr=8-1&keywords=lg+144hz

Why is this build for 49k without a graphic card? You don't need a DVD drive , get rid of it .

Get a 2400mhz RAM you don't need that fancy stuff . You can probably find the CPU for 1K less . The monitor is priced almost double , you can easily get a good 1080p monitor for 6-7k. There you go 7k or more saved

It's the cheapest one on amazon so there's cheaper versions than this. Look on primeabgb.com and mdcomputers.in. Or vedant computers.

You could check out Samsung c24fg70.

1080p, 144hz and it's VA, which is better than TN for colors and angles. Seems to be around the 23k mark too. Haven't personally used it but looks good to me. Keep in mind though, it's curved. Could be a pro or a con depending on preference.

Sorry no idea about this. I'd still say wait for a deal on Hyperx stinger and get that. I have had really good experience with hyperx headphones.

Cheers

u/ISeeAnOrangePencil · 1 pointr/IndianGaming

Hi,

Don't know if you're still looking for one but the Gigabyte K83 is an excellent keyboard. It comes with cherry reds and there's no backlighting of any kind but if you don't mind that, you can get it for as low as 2.4k (nehru place, new delhi) and it's currently available on amazon for 3.4k. It was my first board and is highly recommended.

I know that this is an old thread, but I'm just making sure
This is the monitor you're talking about right. I was about to buy this monitor, but it went out of stock. How often does it come back in stock?

I am new to gaming i have no idea which panel to get. I have only heard that 1ms response time and high refresh rate is good.
Could you help me? I have no idea which one to buy

u/rihit4813 · 1 pointr/IndianGaming

I am thinking of getting the quotes from different vendors and see it if I can squeeze 2070.
The mouse looks like a good option.

The monitor looks like a TN display.
I was hoping to squeeze in VA display.
I was thinking about https://www.amazon.in/Samsung-23-5-Curved-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B01M1DEEYP as an alternative but seems expensive.

Although I have no idea between TN and VA displays practically whether the difference is noticeable.

HyperX Cloud Stinger Core for ₹1,799. Is this a good deal for a PS4 user for playing CoD?

u/bkm007 · 1 pointr/IndianGaming

Get Ryzen 5 1600 instead of i5. I'd recommend this Gigabyte K83 keyboard. It doesn't have RGB but is mechanical (Cherry MX Red acc. to the product listing).
