If you are on XBox One, you can easily customize the controller layout, although if you want to play another game, you have to keep going back to the controller customization.

I would consider watching some fairly decent multiplayer youtubers (I dont know any, but if you want to play zombies I can list a few right here: Im_All_Thumbs, Moose Juice (who does a bit of both), and the Xclusive Ace, hes for weapon stats and analysis). Make sure to grip the controller in a way to comfortably move around, and jump and aim at the same time.

Im a PC gamer, but played Xbox One and did fairly well, so with the controller, you should most likely learn to play with the claw grip. This guy not only shows how to do it, but provides a live commentary over the game. This type of grip is fairly easy to master.

Something I believe every person needs on console, is something to put on top of the joysticks. Not KontrolFreeks, but something much more comfortable then the normal joystick, and finding grip on a controller is key. Those are the exact ones I had when I played Xbox. I think this is in depth enough, but also, learn to play the maps, and try to find players you like to play with, and who can teach you stuff. Good Luck!

For those in the UK, it is worth knowing that the PC physical copy of the Legacy Edition is £10 less if you buy from Amazon UK, but it does not look like you do not get the 1k BO3 COD Points. If my memory serves, £10 will get you 1,000 COD Points from the in-game store on Black Ops 3 anyways.

Essentially, you're buying £10 worth of COD Points as well as the games if you buy Legacy through Steam.

On the other hand, the physical copy of just Infinite Warfare on Amazon is £5 less- still not getting the COD Points. If you aren't interested getting in MW:R, then pre-ordering the digital edition of the game on Steam is gonna be your best bet.

I bought two Cinch controllers for PS4 at the start of BO3, and both were broken by the time IW came out. One actually arrived broken and had to be sent back immediately for repair. I do NOT recommend.

I'm currently using the Horipad FPS Plus. It's a licensed controller with a single remappable button on the back left (I use it to jump). I will admit that it's not quite as good of a button placement, but for under $50, it's great! It also has hairpin L2/R2.

I switched to a monitor 4 years ago and have had several different models and brands. The one I use now is new to the market and happens to have the fastest refresh rate out there. Yeah I seen that when I googled it. I don't think you can make a controller as precise as KB/M. There was a company I think was designing one but they are not shipping as far as I know. In my PC gaming days I used a Logitech Marble Trackman mouse for Quake III and was always accused of being a bot an actual character bot. So much so that game servers would actually send character bots out after me. Sigh. The good ole days. Anyway, the XBox/PS controllers joystick doesn't work well for aiming in FPS. This might help, I’ve heard it’s better than WiFi although I’ve never tried it. 100mbps is plenty, I don’t think the extra speed will help if you’re still on WiFi.

no it will not make a significant difference tbh so don't expect to all of a sudden become much better.

Anyone who tells you so would be incorrect because there's no way the human brain can perceive 3ms.

That being said i would still probably get a normal gaming monitor if playing this game and other console fps is important to you. because what you have isn't even 1080p which is the standard res for these games.
