I built my own setup. https://scontent-b-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/t1.0-9/10469048_802616879762394_7511436800829330098_n.jpg

I have since set it up so that I can use anything 4-40v and charges at 3 amps max.

This setup has allowed me to go all day. I'm sure there are areas where this could be improved and i'm open to anything someone smarter knows. I have walked and biked around all day with no issues. Normally I will see a 3% drop every 1hr of play. This also actively charges the battery pack. I'm still trying to up my amperage so if someone can tell me how to do that let me know

It is a TUDIA Ultra Slim silicone case. Got it off of Amazon on a whim, I like it better than the OnePlus cases.

my battery pack has a QI wireless charger, so just by putting my phone in my pocket with it it starts charging

edit: i made that up but looks like they do exist: http://www.amazon.com/RAVPower%C2%AE-Wireless-Qi-Compliant-Including-Incredible/dp/B00DN0AVN0 it does 1A output, not bad for wireless.. I think I want one

Seems like a good idea. Width and height are right, but what about depth? If I stack my battery and phone, it easily doubles the depth. I could buy one for a tablet, but is that going to be deep enough? I might just go for this instead. http://amzn.com/B003UEMFUG I know a quart bag is JUST enough to hold my Nexus 4 in its wallet case and external battery. But you are right about the swiping. An unvacuumed bag makes it very hard to glyph hack.

I have this mount, and am happy with it. Plenty of room for the phone and my external battery.

these are good as well, though they may be slightly more expensive.

I like this stylus which is affordable and has several different sized tips. It also glides relatively easy. The only drawback is it's a little smaller than a normal pen, so can feel slightly weird to hold.

I use one of these: http://amzn.com/B002PWFSMQ

It's only about $10 and I like the material a lot more - still easy to play through, but it's stiffer than a ziplock and doesn't bunch up when you try to swipe.

Get a better external battery?

I have an iPhone 6 on it's third winter and have the same issue but my battery pack keeps it going just fine.

For reference this is the battery pack I have.

sigh - Here we go...

Ingress creative lead, Flint Dille is the mind behind the 'lore' of the game. He wrote a series of books about a character called Agent 13. It's a noir-esque setting of a secret organization guiding the fate of humanity and the other groups and individuals attempting to work against this group, mix in a bit of sci-fi, a dash of spy craft and there you go.

Some of the core concepts of this series was later pulled forward into the 'lore' of Ingress, including the number 13, warring secret societies, and spy craft.

I hope this helps!

I'm using an iKross weather-resistant pouch mount on my bike. I don't know if it can accommodate a Mega, but it will take my Note 2 inside its wallet case. It's a snug fit, but the zippers close all the way around.

Go to Amazon and buy your cables or adapters. There's plenty of documentation on what cable is acceptable and has the proper resistors.

Most android phones have replaceable batteries, I have one of these for my S4.

The batteries are small, light and easy to carry in your pocket / wallet. I take 1 pre-charged spare out with me most times, 2 spares would last an entire day of constant use and then some.

I recommend the Delta Smartphone Caddy II whenever I can for people looking for a universal mount.

Almost every universal mount has an inverse relationship between protection and phone ingress & egress (see what I did there?)--this one trumps all in both categories.

I use the Anker 9000. It's between 35$ and 40$ on Amazon. It holds 9000 mAh, so it can fully charge a cell phone with a 1500 mAh battery 4.8 times with its 80% efficiency rating. It's about the size of an iPhone 4, but twice as thick.

Anker also sells a 6000 mAh model, a 3000 mAh model, and a 12000 mAh model.

I haven't tried it yet, but AnyGlove is a liquid that you put on glove fingers to turn them into capacitive gloves for touch screens.
