Yes, this would be the brightest halogen--better than Silverstar. And cheaper to boot.

And this is supported by actual, scientific testing in German magazines with an actual Jeep headlamp. Note that they test 21 different bulbs in a Jeep headlamp to find the best lighting available for it...including LEDs!

And the LED ranked very, very poorly.

And they found that the Philips bulbs are consistently among the best available. (Note that they didn't bother playing with Silverstars, despite testing 21 different bulbs).

You said that you've replaced the radiator at least one year ago...then the thermostat and a few components. Did you do the work yourself, help, or mechanic? The reason I ask is because anytime the cooling system has ANY kind of work done, you will need to fetch your 8mm hex or allen wrench to bleed the system (since probably someone forgot to do it) like in this picture.

Find some youtube videos on how to bleed your cooling system first (youtube search jeep liberty coolant bleeding or something), then come back and let us know. Most people that bleed their system generally just open BUT leave their radiator cap on (so water doesn't spill all over as much) and let it air out as much as possible (preferable once the thermostat is open). You can also buy one of these funnels to attach and add coolant as you're bleeding the system. I would also check the radiator cap to make sure it's within specifications and not worn out (drawing in air due to a leaky radiator cap or any kind of air in the cooling system can and will cause overheating). If you don't know how to do this type of work (which shouldn't take too long or much, find someone that can help).

I wouldn't replace the Jeep just yet. Don't just start replacing expensive parts in the cooling system (just start from smallest and gradually work your way on to the other things).

Oh, those are actually the factory fog-lights. I think only the 2005 - 2007 Renegade Liberties had them, but I may be wrong. They look nice but get broken quite easily by rocks thrown up on the highway. Here is an Amazon link for third-party one, pretty much identical to factory https://www.amazon.com/Depo-333-2028N-AQ-Passenger-Replacement-Assembly/dp/B004I12C08/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1537371196&sr=8-1&keywords=333-2028N-AQ

Nope, these go in my 2006 with 0effort, but you should verify the exact bulb yours uses.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07D7SWKBN?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

They are designed to fit exactly where the old bulbs did and are plug and play.

Thanks! I find a lot of Liberty's look very "Mall Crawler", I tried to make mine more of an off-road XJ.

The light bar mounts are from Amazon for an XJ. The are very sturdy and we'll made, it leaks a little right now but it could be easily properly sealed.

The bumper is from At The Helm fabrication. Excellant bumper, went on easy and the build quality is second to none

The gas milage is tricky. Recently, I swapped in a new steel driveshaft because the aluminum one was rubbing by gas tank skid plate under high flex. That thing tanked my mpg. Before I installed it I was getting 16-17 highway, which wasn't much different than before all the mods. The driveshaft dropped it to 14. But no more rub!

Edit: 14 mpg not 12

I use this and it works great. Automatically connects to the radio and iPhone. You can Google 'blank radio stations' to get a list of blank radio stations in your area. I installed a relay on the cigarette lighter so it would come on with the car rather than always be on.

I use this one in mine. Works great. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B018E0I01I/ref=psdcmw_13981621_t1_B01LXSY3YN you get in the jeep, it pairs with the phone in your pocket and then you can play your stuff. Unless you're in a really urban area where you will have trouble finding unused fm channels I would go this route so you don't have to take anything apart and you can move it to different vehicles if you want.

These are the brackets

Omotor 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra Steel Metal Upper Roof Windshield Mounting Brackets for 52 Inch Cuved Led Work Light Bar SUV Offroad … https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GCD63TK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_-bpPBb0F6SJJR

And this is the light bar I used.

Auxbeam 42” LED Light Bar 240W LED Work Light Off Road Lights Spot Flood Combo Beam 80pcs3W CREE Chips Curved 5D Lens for Car Jeep SUV UTV ATV Pickup Truck with Wiring Harness https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LWSSRUW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_IdpPBbXZMFEM3

You can use any 42" curved bar with those brackets. Don't go over 42" or it won't fit even though it says it's for a 52".

I made the write up on the forums but got the bracket idea from a fellow forum member.

If you do a lot of deep water crossings I would just use liquid electrical tape and seal up the relay/relay wires. I had to replace my relay after a year due to corrosion on the terminals but I live in NJ and our winters rust/corrode everything. Otherwise their wiring harness works really well.

And here's the how to

If you have a USB slot or a car charger USB thing to power it, and your aux port is by your stereo, something like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0168CUAYO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_PmICCbPJ9B7S7

I haven’t measured it out yet to make sure it’ll fit. Worse case scenario I’ll use the 4 switch version.

Brand new OEM front chrome grille

The only other option is salvage yard or convert to bugeye normal front end stuff (which might be cheaper if you plan on breaking stuff off-road alot)

First, do you have enough coolant? If you're low it won't get heat. Easy check, your bottle should be half full cold.

If you're up for wasting possibly two hours of time and investing in a small electric water pump you might be able to clean and seal your heater core instead of needing to replace it, because of how sucky it is to fix.

https://youtu.be/M9SIafVsqyc this is the basic flush half. It blows water backwards through the core, getting all the chunks out without getting them into your cooling system. Worth every second you do it with how crap it is to get to the core.

If you do this and you don't end up with water on the passenger floor and the water flows freely, stop and reconnect everything and test your heat. You may be good to go.

However, if you got water on the floor in the passenger side after doing this, next is step 2:

Using the same tools from the flush half, also get a small water pump, a small bucket, and a bottle of radiator stop leak.

A pump like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EWENMAU/ works great since it's cheap and practically disposable. Hook the output side of the pump into the normal coolant in side of the heater core, put the pump in a bucket, and fill the bucket with distilled water ($1/gallon). Dump the radiator stop leak into the bucket. Put the hose that goes out from the heater core into the bucket so that you are running water up the pump, through the core, and back into the bucket. This is to get as much stop leak into the core as possible and not affect the rest of the Jeep's cooling system.

Plug the pump in and let it run for an hour or so. If you used the pump I linked, roughly 80 gallons will have circulated. Which is about 160x the capacity of the heater core. Then flush some clean water through it for a while. You should not have any more water leaking into the passenger footwell.

When you reconnect the core back to the vehicle, be sure to add extra coolant or keep an eye on the level when you run it for the first few minutes since it was empty and needs to be refilled.

I've done this on my liberty and my wife's Chrysler Town and country since they both suck to get to and it's held up for over a year now.
