We (I) have a bunch of stuff picked out depending on her size since we're not sure what she'll fit in to when she's finally born. For NB size we have a purple onsie which I believe has some type of fox or cat on it. I can't seem to find it on the Carters web site but it's cute. I doubt it'll fit her since she was 5 pounds at the 32 week ultrasound but I wanted something just in case.

I found 2 onsies at a thrift show of our local football team (DH LOVES football, especially our team). One is red with frilly sleeves, the other is grey with frilly sleeves but I can't find a picture, both have the team name. These are both 0-3 which will hopefully fit her.

We have these super cute shorts in 3M which should go with pretty much anything we put her in.

We also have this awesome onsie in 6M but it's small, so I think it should fit her in around 3M size just in case.

Well done for keeping it up so long! Running has felt weird to me for such a long time, I miss it :(

I don't know about running but i use a support belt from Amazon that's in 3 pieces (a piece round back and sides, one around front and one over top of bump) and goes together with Velcro - it offers good support for my back when lifting and doing classes. Apparently Paula Radcliffe used one like this ://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001BUK9O/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll1&tag=allabomartr0e-20&linkId=172d367b1dee8e5711d1358a33ce549f throughout her pregnancy but I don't think that would be enough support for me to prevent jiggly weirdness feelings.

I've switched to swimming and while it isn't the same at all, it's actually a lot more enjoyable than I thought it would be and apparently swimming in 3rd tri helps to get baby into the right position for birth and keep them there!

I bought some Motherhood Maternity roll panel underwear and they are soooooo comfortable. They have a soft panel that sits just on the bottom half of my bump, which is perfect. I bought them in my regular size and through some sort of magic they fit perfectly. I can see them continuing to fit comfortably for a while post partum.

The only caveat is that they seem to be out of stock, on Amazon and even on the MM site, for weeks now. I sure hope they're coming back at some point because I need several more pairs!

edit: sorry, they're called "fold-over panties". If you find some, I highly recommend them! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ETBTDOE/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3IRQ0AH92IOW9&coliid=I1IUFSCTU9O679&psc=1

We are starting to buy things now! Mainly the big purchases are going first. We'll buy bibs, clothes, etc. once we found out the gender because they are hard to buy without knowing! We actually started yesterday :) We went to a babies r us and right when you walk in they had a few things on clearance. They were all being sold super cheap because the store was discontinuing the item, so they had to sell what was left! We got a goodbaby stroller, originally $350 we bought it for $70! and we went ahead and bought a Chicco baby carrier too. Our next big purchase is probably going to be the crib. Babies r us had a crib that we fell in love with, and I want to go back and get it ASAP! It was very very light green, with white and gray. Very gender neutral since it was mostly white and gray.

Edit : Also just wanted to add a comment! With as far along as most of us are, I think it's perfect time to start buying things. The time is going to fly by and before we know it we will only have a few weeks left. Start early to be ready and prepared when the baby is ready to arrive! :)

I picked up a white noise elephant toy from my "Amazon Baby Registry" so I could get the registry box, but I'm starting to worry I messed something up because I never got confirmation that the box is coming!

I also picked up a playmat and mini-guitar on Black Friday for super cheap: hubs and I play a lot of Rockband, so baby can now rock out with us!

Edit: Also, a couple of super cute, non-gendered onesies that were on super sale :)

My skin is definitely dryer than usual this winter. I use CeraVe Moisturizing Cream after I wash my face every time, and I use their Hydrating cleanser to wash my face. I usually use their standard foaming cleanser, but I switched when I noticed how dry my face had become. I still feel like I need something else, though, so I tried picking up the CeraVe night cream yesterday. I don't have feedback on it yet, but I really love their product line in general, so I'm guessing it will help.

I realized today that we own no less than 6 pregnancy books, but ZERO newborn care books. Sooo today I bought one: Heading Home with your Newborn! I'd also love to know what y'all are reading; any that y'all highly recommend!

Awesome, thanks!

I looked up the Amazon link for any other interested US bumpers: https://www.amazon.com/KT-Synthetic-Kinesiology-Therapeutic-Tape/dp/B00CRF31RA/ref=sr_1_4_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1494346442&sr=1-4&keywords=kt%2Btape&th=1

(and yes, I did check all the different color options to find the cheapest combo!)

thanks for sharing and reminding me to practice!! i use the john kabat zinn stuff there's some tracks on amazon (not for free but they have been a good investment for me. Here's what i use: https://www.amazon.com/Guided-Mindfulness-Meditation-Complete-Kabat-Zinn/dp/1591793599/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1498264238&sr=8-5&keywords=jon+kabat+zinn). I took a local 'mindfullness stress reduction class' at the beginning of pregnancy and its been great. Not pregnancy specific but solid mindfulness technique. of course it ain't a practice if i don't practice, i will try to get back to it tonight : D

I worked at a daycare and saw lots of diaper rash. Have you started cleaning him with warm wet paper towels instead of wipes? Then giving his bum a little time to air dry, using another diaper to fan his butt? The alcohol in wipes sucks for baby bottoms. Also, cornstarch beats baby powder if you need something to keep moisture out. :)

Also, TRIPLE PASTE is the bomb dot com.... only this kind: https://www.amazon.com/Triple-Paste-Medicated-Ointment-16-Ounce/dp/B000GCL2B8/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1499366108&sr=8-3&keywords=triple+paste

No other diaper rash cream works like Triple Paste. It's expensive but you can get it at major drugstores and Target and Walmart I believe. It will stick to the bottom and not the diaper! :D Good luck!

Well the ball pit is inflatable, so I wouldn't use it until he's older. I don't even mind getting the cute stuff, it's just where am I supposed to store these giant things, ya know? Especially since he's kiddo #3 and has the bedroom that used to be the office (aka, tiny), lol.

I'm thinking about getting Pavlov's playpen (I can't fully express why other than "arm holes", but I just love it a ridiculous amount) and I'd be fine putting play balls in there, but inflatable house + baby just didn't quite sit right with me (and it does say 3+ on the package).

I'm a second-time mom and I'm still freaking out! I didn't know anything the first time, and it's true, I did figure it out. And hopefully some of it actually comes back to me haha. But it's all a blur at this point. I do remember plenty of time with sleepy baby laying on my chest, or laying baby down in the Boppy Newborn Lounger and just talking to her and singing to her and playing with her feet haha. But I do remember the feeling of, "Okay sooooo what do we do now?"

Hmmm let me get back to you about epigenetics reading in particular, but if it's piqued your interest in genetics as a whole I can recommend things like The Gene and Genome as a start

Thank you! It's called a mamaRoo and it's a Baby swing with various settings and it also plays soothing sounds and music (4moms, mamaRoo, Baby Swing, Grey Classic https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PK3EO1S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_rBbmzb9NT5TJX) I also have the infant insert on it now (4moms, Infant Seat and Swing Insert, Multi/Polka Dot Plush https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VU36Q9U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dFbmzb7A02JWJ)
The other weird thing next to it on the dresser (the black tech item that doesn't match) is our router. The nursery was previously my DH's Mancave and its smack in the middle of the house. He said that this room is the best place for the router and he had it in there when the room was filled with TV and video game items...ha! He didn't want to move it, so I'm dealing with it...lol
