I got these maxfloor - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073RMN8WT/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
the plastic material is kind of hard but fit good. good enough for me. just pulled them out for the warm weather

How did you remove the old map light bulbs? The ones on my 2019 Niro LX look like this and don't seem to pull out easily -- the reflector seems to be keeping them in place. I didn't pull too hard because don't want to break them -- will they come straight out if I just pull harder, or do I need to remove the reflector (and if so how)? (And do mine look the same as yours, so that the bulbs you used will work?) Thanks.

Are you getting a 32a to future proof for other EVs/PHEVs?

How important is having a 240v charger right now to you? Can you get away with 120v?

If you're looking at getting a full EV in the next few years, I'd suggest something a little more reputable. The one you linked doesn't have a UL safety listing. Since you already have a 50a breaker (or at least you should, please double check that and the wiring gauge), if you're planning on buying something to use for years to come I'd suggest a Clippercreek with 6-50 plug. CC 40a - $660 or the CC 32a - $590

Or there are a whole plethora of EVSEs out there if you're willing to change the plug type (probably need to reduce the breaker to match the plug using the 80% rule?). They're pretty easy to change if you're handy. You could also pay $55 for an adapter.

If you don't plan on having more than a PHEV with 12a anytime soon, I'd suggest getting something a little cheaper, lower amp rating, and high quality (from what I can tell, don't own one.) The AmazingE would be plenty for you. It's cheaper, UL listed, a lot of internals are made by clippercreek and is very similar to some of the Chevy (IIRC) EVSEs. If my wife changes jobs, the AmazingE will probably be what I buy for her to charge our LEAF at work.

Full disclosure, I don't own a Niro and I'm not an electrician by trade. Check your local codes as needed.

I've been looking as well and I'm considering these: https://www.amazon.com/Mophorn-Baggage-Locking-Crossbars-2015-2017/product-reviews/B072JDKZ8F/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_hist_4?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=four_star&reviewerType=all_reviews#reviews-filter-bar

Reviews say they also make a little noise at 40-55 mph but one reviewer said you can cut the noise considerably by wrapping a cord around the front crossbar to cut the wind.

My preference is finding black long bars that fit the flush side rails of the Niro instead of the usual shorter ones. I'm hoping to fit a small cargo carrier alongside the kayak.

All-weather floor mats. I have these. My wife spilled half a bottle of water in the passenger seat mat and it was able to contain it since the walls of it are high. theyre also easy to clean

Strongly recommend getting one of these, it really helped organize the center console. Here's the amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GNDLZBP
I think I also saw them on ebay.

Hi. So I’m getting a portable one only. :) And I think the current outlet I have is I think 50amp (cz I saw it written on the Nema 6-50 outlet).

I’m getting this charger - MUSTART Level 2 Portable EV Charger (25ft Cable, 7.68KW), Electric Vehicle Charger Plug-in EV Charging Station with NEMA 6-50P (32 Amp) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078PKB2JW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_3qUKBbVJ1MQ4D

MIU COLOR Car Trunk Organizer - Foldable Cargo Trunk Organizer with Durable Cover Washable Storage with Reinforced Handles https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FLVE9DQ/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_shIXBbTXGA63C

This is an improved version, but lots of options are available.

u/Dew_bird · 2 pointsr/KiaNiro

Bought this to keep my cargo area clean. It also works with the seats folded down, and has a cover for the rear bumper for the dogs to hop up. Don't think it's a perfect width though.

Paws & Pals Pet Seat Cover... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GM4WKJM?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

I got these:
MotorFansClub Cross Bars Crossbars Fits for KIA NIRO 2017-2019 Baggage Luggage Roof Rack Rail https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RQS6T51/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_CCxeDbJYCAY7Y
Really inexpensive compared to every other option. Quick and easy to install (maybe ten or fifteen minutes out of the box.) Fair amount of noise above 30mph though, so if you're not a fan of wind whistle, maybe not a great option... They do seem a bit higher than more expensive options, but maybe I'm wrong there. (I have little experience with roof racks other than on my husband's Impreza, and his Thule bars are super streamlined.)

That being said, they seem sturdy enough, and we had zero issues attaching the Thule Sidekick cargo box. We didn't load it with anything heavy though, mostly sleeping bags, some small propane tanks, air mattress... The weight limit was the same as the factory bars, I think, but again, we didn't really test it.
