I've got a library copy of this book, but this one is called The World: A Gateway.

It has the commentary and extra verses by Mumon, as well as commentary by the author.

Keyword is indeed, FREE.

I'm getting a lot from it so far as it seems to be a good translation with commentary.

If you were with us while we studied the Blue Cliff Record, we met Tokusan/Te Shan in case 4. We also met him in Case 13 of the Mumonkan.

The story of Tokusan's meeting the rice cake seller is recounted here. The source is The Whole World Is a Single Flower, an apparently modern collection of koans composed by Seung Sahn.

This week's koan is a little more meaty than some in the Mumonkan, so make sure to read it twice so you don't miss anything! Please feel free to ask any questions or share anything you think!

FYI The preview of the book on amazon includes the commentary for this koan.
