It's free and gives a very basic standpoint on Programming. It should take you 2-3 months to finish all the courses and by that time, you should be ready to start your own small projects.

Next, you should look onto buying books. It really depends what you want to get into. For making websites, you should learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript since they give most functionality and are very easy to remember (all of which are curses on codecademy). If you want a challenge, you should consider Computer applications that use C, C++ or C#. However, That is not recommended for a person with no experience. iOS development is a great way to pick up new skills. Should you want that, you're limited to using an Apple computer, Apple-dev software and development licenses (which can all be costly).

just make sure it ships. I also got some (expired) film from some photography place that you get your photographs taken. Just ask they might have it. Other than that, amazon is your best bet.

I got the knockoff version of a Dyson from Amazon for less than $175 US. Works great but burns through the battery fast. I'd recommend a spare.

I recommend getting Islamic Beads (musbah in Arabic), it'll really show that you made some effort to look into the culture and it's not overly expensive. Many guys carry one around in Kuwait.
