Get a party light that changes colors, and look at that at night with nothing on but the party light. You’ll love it so much!

Also, love it! It’s beautiful!!

Here’s a general list. It changes if I’m going into a concert venue vs being at someone’s house.

Trip bag:

Crystal kaleidoscopic glasses - purchased mine from a local consignment store but here’s an example: glasses

Diffraction glasses - these work better with stars or lasers: paper glasses

Water

Bandana/fabric tube mask x3

Essential oils (cinnamon, rose, eucalyptus, orange, and white lotus balm)

Candy (hi chews are the best, gummy bears work in a pinch)

Weighted blanket (small lap pad sized, about 3lbs, I made mine)

Pashmina (I take mine everywhere pretty much anyways)

Notebooks and pens/pencils

Tarot or Oracle cards - my friends and I like to use them during our trips to enhance the self revelation part of tripping

Glow sticks - tie them on some shoe laces and spin them, thank me later

Flow toys (I have poi and used to have light up hula hoops)

Powder dough (baby oil and flour) and salt dough (DIY)

Something cold (usually a canned drink, sometimes ice packs)

I've downloaded Electric Sheep which is a pretty damn good visualizer, and I've got this sweet ass tapestry with this sweet ass light, and when you put the light on the auto cycle through all the colors, it plays with the colors on the tapestry and it fucking morphs and it's ridiculous. then as for tunes I'll throw on some Boards of Canada, Starfucker, Grateful Dead or lately if I'm really trying to get weird I'll throw on some Gnod or Mr. Elevator and the Brain Hotel or some really old Floyd.

I'll also watch one of a few movies, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away and for some odd reason, my friends and I have had a trip tradition of watching ninja assassin because it's visually nuts and there's not too much to keep up with story wise. I also watched some it's always sunny, which was pretty much the funniest thing that has ever happened to me at the time. I only got through one episode (Chardee MacDennis: The Game of Games) before I really felt the need to go for a walk.

I can't game very well, I tried playing halo 2 and all I did was walk around the first level and not shoot anyone. Geometry wars was pretty cool though.

But to be honest don't work on staying focused on anything, I just let the weird take me where it takes me

I got mine on amazon. It was a six pack of paper ones and then one plastic pair. I always order a pack before a rave

Here’s a link on amazon

https://www.amazon.de/Complete-Annotated-Grateful-Dead-Lyrics/dp/1501123327/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=grateful+dead+lyrics&qid=1568931636&sr=8-1 Amazon has pretty much a complete collection of every piece of Grateful Dead related literature and usually for super cheap, I'm going through Phil's biography at the moment, but couldn't contain myself from buying this book when I saw it.
Get the hardcover, the quality is amazing and the wrap with the skeleton on the cover is beautiful

Wow! Couldn't put together how that would work, but I see the tension on the sticks now. Setting this up seems like it would be a rather relaxing process.

https://www.amazon.com/Artlicious-Natural-Wooden-Popsicle-Sticks/dp/B074YG3QBB/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1537563053&sr=8-4&keywords=popsicle%2Bsticks&th=1

4000 for $48

Looking at the video I estimate about 7 sticks per 4.5 inches with these, which would build you at least 215 feet of explodable track. I can't think of a more perfectly pointless thing to do.

First off, I would not recommend dosing by yourself for your first time. You'll probably be alright if you do, but it's preferable to have someone you trust around. If you have someone else there, you can take a slightly larger dose, one more prone to induce mystical experience.

You mention that you are very strong mentally. This is not necessarily a good thing in this domain. If you're able to contain and pigeonhole the experience with your mind, you'll miss out on the magic that can happen when you are eclipsed by the experience.

You seem like a smart dude. Do some reading beforehand so you're prepared:

Sure thing, those are water jet speakers. Here's the exact ones I have if you're interested: https://www.amazon.com/SoundSOUL-Dancing-Speakers-Fountain-Portable/dp/B014MCIGYS/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=water+jet+speakers&qid=1557257092&s=gateway&sr=8-3

Just keep in mind if you blast them to super high volume the audio quality gets a bit iffy, otherwise they work completely fine :)

Youtube, if you can!

Make a throwaway or an unlisted stream/video.

If you're a gamer, that's an easy activity to partake in. Otherwise, you can follow the Psychadelic Explorer's Guide and set up a few questions for yourself now that you could work through while tripping. Things that you may want to explore about yourself, those around you, those in the world.

If you're a problem solver by career/nature, maybe prime yourself with some difficult puzzles/programming challenges/financial quandaries and try to delve into them while tripping. You may get quite a bit of insight and gain a creativity in regards to solving said challenges.

Or just pump iron while reacting to some interesting podcast! Who knows what could be interesting to do for you and to watch for others!

u/rainbowbadger50 · 3 pointsr/LSD

That's probably because you smoked a stativa, the more predominantly stimulating type of strain, when you should have smoked a indica instead, which is what people with anxiety and insomnia are perscribed. If you're in a good set and setting, it'd be pretty unlikely for you to randomly panic. Put on some good, calm tunes, have someone you know and trust around, get this thing, try and have a antipsychotic or benzo around in case it gets too crazy for you, use placebos to you're advantage (as you're more likely to fall for it while tripping, for example, I have a pink goat trapper hat, that makes bad vibes go away and makes a bad trip turn into a good one), ask any questions, I'm here to help :)

The shop is called Sunshine Joy and they have many options and supposedly their 3D with the right glasses! Happy trails and vibe on!

Thanks! The blue one with the little green stars is my favorite too. It’s the skylite. Bought it off amazon for around 40$ one of the best purchases I’ve ever made

u/OG_Watsky · 1 pointr/LSD

I bought this light that projects lights all over my room and I'm very happy with it. It syncs up with music and it just looks really cool.

The best black light I've ever gotten is this one and it's enough to light up my whole room. I used to have two black lights in my room and this one kicks both of their asses.

Those creatures are amazing. Their branch on the tree of life separated from ours about 600 millions years ago. They evolved completely differently to the point they look as they are from another planet, yet they also developed eyes and a big distributed nervous system. Different organisms interestingly developing the same kind of tools/sensors and strategies to survive in different environments. Plus they are super smart. They can learn just by looking at other organisms ... and strangely can recognize human's faces.

They can shapeshift to look like a rocks or a venomous sea snake. They change color to match their environment ... although they are color blind. A theory is that they "see" with their eyes but perceive colours through their skin.

Please stop eating them :-)

Even then a manufacturer not likely selling directly to consumers. If you have the contacts and ability to get the chemical precursors and the knowledge and ability of chemistry to master the process, you aren't spending your days dosing tabs, licking envelopes, and taking orders. To minimize legal liability and exposure, a smart operator would multiple levels of distribution, each more difficult to penetrate. There's a reason why you don't hear of a ton of LSD manufacturer busts. There was one, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Leonard_Pickard, who wrote a fascinating fictional/biographical book about a cadre of clandestine LSD manufacturers. Even the wikipedia page is fascinating. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0692509003/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 .

(Copy&pasting an old reply)

For the OP: Maybe you should look into microdosing as a first step.

Microdosing: People who take LSD with breakfast (A video from the BBC which is a couple of years old; cutting tabs is not recommended as it's not accurate; volumetric microdosing is a better method - see wiki/thirdwave links below for comprehensive info)

Ayelet Waldman who is featured on the video talks about her depression and how microdosing helped her and saved her from suicide and wrote this book about it:

A Really Good Day: How Microdosing Made a Mega Difference in My Mood, My Marriage, and My Life

If you do decide this path the maybe you should have a look at a look at r/microdosing and read through the wiki at https://www.reddit.com/r/microdosing/wiki/index

Also lots of comprehensive free info at: https://thethirdwave.co/microdosing/

I'm assuming you are not using any pharma meds because if you are you may want to check for drug interactions which you can do at https://reference.medscape.com/drug-interactionchecker by entering 'lsd' and any other meds you are taking.

Good Luck.

Other things I've read that could be linked to depression is magnesium deficiency (which does not show up on standard blood tests) and is becoming more prevalent due to modern intensive farming methods or due to taking PPIs (proton pump inhibitors) and any gut/microbiome issues as the majority of serotonin is produced in the gut (where kefir and fermented foods such as sauerkraut, kimchi seem to help).

EDIT: Why magnesium is so good for you: https://youtu.be/oZYXBYAHhN8 (and also helps with vasoconstriction which can occur when taking lsd)

Buy this book and read it or have the to be trip sitter read this.

https://www.amazon.com/Psychedelic-Explorers-Guide-Therapeutic-Journeys/dp/1594774021

I also try to have MORE than enough music JUST IN CASE you need to change the vibe, set and setting are everything, I often plan like a party, a trip party that is. I have lights and toys and candy and fruit and glowsticks

If you can, benzos are a must for if things get a bit hairy.

The Psychedelic Explorer's Guide by James Fadiman, he talks about microdosing which I have found to be awesome.

u/kevindotwiz · 2 pointsr/LSD

get this shit bro it will be absolutely jaw dropping during the peak and pretty affordable too in my opinion. You won’t regret it trust

u/bodycounters · 1 pointr/LSD

This book talks about that a bit. It's been a while since I read it but what I remember was studies showed that all people who tripped felt it changed their life for the better, even if the trip itself was a bad one. Almost universally, everyone who has a psychedelic experience feels it changed their life in a good way.

u/VirtualWeasel · 1 pointr/LSD

u/manspaceman · 1 pointr/LSD

I recommend taking a look at a book called Acid Dreams. This is more or less what happened during the 60s. People began taking LSD and decided they wanted to change the world. One take away from the book though is that because your LSD experience is so heavily influenced by your set and setting, different groups of people can interpret their LSD experiences in very different ways, and so it becomes difficult to organize towards a common goal.

Basically what LSD does is make various parts of the brain interact that ordinarily don't interact. Pieces of information are linked together and related to one another. Specific contexts related to that information are lost more and more at higher doses.
