Blender is a good start for video editing software. It's free, and is GREAT at 3d work. I haven't done any basic video editing in it myself, although I have done some 3d work with it, but I've heard it works pretty well for editing.

OBS is free screen recording software. You can always watch a streamer you enjoy, record some footage, and make your own edits.

You can also take a song you like, and make a music video for it.

Making memes and creating GIFs for r/highqualitygifs is also a great way to practice editing.

If you want to do voiceovers, or any voicework, the Samson C03U is an AMAZING USB microphone that I would personally rate better than any other USB mic in the market under $250. (and it only costs $100). I've used that mic and it's predecessor (the C01U) since I started working.

Really just finding something you want to create and going for it is where you start.

Hope this helped out!

I've read that Monument Valley is a good puzzle game. Free on Amazon Underground.

Hitman GO, Lara Croft GO, and Deus Ex GO are also good puzzle games from Square Enix Montreal. All three are also free on Amazon Underground.

And to round out the puzzle section, The Room is a
pretty fun puzzle series of Rube Goldberg-like contraptions with a bit of mysterious lore. The first one is free on Amazon Underground, the second and third game will cost you.

I'm having a bit of fun with a weeb FTP TCG called Shadowverse. It did launch on Android/iOS first.

Steve Jackson's Sorcery! series is an engrossing choose your own adventure game with actually good writing. Sorcery! and Sorcery! 2 are free on Amazon Underground. Parts 3 and 4 are $5 each.

Oh that's fine, but you can go in to feel the keyboard see which one is good for you and then buy it online later. They can be surprisingly very different (mainly weighted keyboards). Normally I wouldn't suggest doing that much for a beginner piano, but you're talking about spending $300. What ever you do buy with that amount could last you a good amount of time.

This is what I got (it's what my first teacher used for his class) after I became really passionate about playing.

https://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-CP33-Stage-Piano/dp/B000TG619O

Was about $500 used.

Had it for about 2-3 years now and the only "upgrade" (obviously this is very opinion based) I could make would to be a real piano. Like someone said before, you really shouldn't spend that much to start out with, but if you do, there are choices that can last you a really long amount of time if you choose carefully.

u/Royalscumbag Hey! glad you like it! I actually created it and shipped it to Hasan! It's awesome that so many people love it. It fits him perfectly!

Take a look at "corporate economics" or "finance" blogs or books.

Another great book that is absolutely amazing is Naked Economics. I highly recommend it. You should buy it but you can find it on the internet easily. It goes into economic concepts first, and then once it tells you although economic concepts are self-evidently powerful, they are misused so many times and result in the fuckups we see everyday.

The issue above is called the Agency Problem. Where agents/managers' incentives do not align with the health of the company. Stock options is a huge culprit of this. Where an exec's bonus pay is tied to the stock's performance.

I think I would just play however is the most fun. I don't really need to impress anyone. Basically I want to have fun and improve my dexterity.

One more question, what's a good starter keyboard? I randomly googled something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Roland-61-Key-GO-Education-GO-61PC/dp/B06ZYZMD8Q

I got money to spare so I don't really mind the price, unless it's over 2k or something. That's a bit too steep for an instrument I have no experience in.

Ah yes, sciencebasedmedicine.com, the reductionist playbook of authoritative Intellectuals Yet Idiots like yourself. Please link some more opinion pieces, like the ones outlining the virtues of Monsanto, SSRI's, and broad-spectrum Fentanyl. Please don't hesitate to go on strawmanning me, while you cease to even recognize what profit motives or nutrition are.

Update: I'm currently wading through the "Truth About Cancer" documentary/film series (link to book), very informative with 18 hours of interviews spanning dozens of MD's and Oncologists. It's very informative, if somewhat plainspeaking, and the reductionist backlash/shilling seems underwhelming, with classic quotes such as "it's not true", etc, in many cases not bothering to cite anything, ie. light on counter-evidence with lots of opinions, ignorant of epigenetics and economic/incentive influences as would be expected from some retired military Boomer. Make up your own minds, don't let others think for you.

I'm sorry to hear that mate :(

Are you seeing anyone right now? It's always a good idea to seek professional guidance.

If you aren't ready for that yet consider giving this book a read:

https://www.amazon.com/Feeling-Good-New-Mood-Therapy/dp/0380810336

One of the most successful treatments for depression is something called Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I know for a lot of people seeking help can be extremely difficult, this book will introduce you to some of the techniques used in CBT in private, but honestly it's best to have a professional talking it through with you also.

You can buy a second hand fullsized casio keyboard to get you started, they will be pretty cheap. If you end up sticking with it, then spend some time and money on a good one.

This is a good book series to get you started;

This book was a good read, I think you'll find quite relatable and helpful: https://www.amazon.com/Body-Keeps-Score-Healing-Trauma/dp/0143127748

Good luck with your journey!

There are controllers out now that turn your phone onto a Switch-like handheld.

https://www.amazon.com/Flydigi-Bluetooth-Controller-Telescopic-Connecting/dp/B07DJ85NF3

The cool thing is you can also use it to play emulators if your phone is capable.

They are pretty inexpensive as well.

A normal well adjusted person in society will always give a person the benefit of the doubt.

Obviously you may be struggling with the first bit, I'm not surprised though, you are definitely showing the signs such as playing WoW in 2018.

Anyway, here's a book that might help you. The Growing Up Book for Boys: What Boys on the Autism Spectrum Need to Know!

It seems like you may have skimmed over the middle-school level biology text book, so here is the link, once again!

Here, once again, is the image depicting two out of two sexes/genders, which is peer-reviewed information which you may find in a middle school text book.

Have a nice day 🙂 Hope I helped!

Each box he opened has 1 pack in it.. the pack contains 3 cards and a chance of a redemption card. Redemptions are ones that you have to contact Topps (the manufacturer) and they will mail it to you. They tend to be higher in value.

"Each Prime Performers Autograph is also available in the following parallels.
Bronze Ink (serial-numbered to 25 copies)
Silver Ink (serial-numbered to ten)
Gold Ink (one-of-one) "

That being said, just because the redemption he pulled will only have 10 made.. it doesn't make it necessarily valuable. As a Cardinals fan.. it would be cool to pull a Molina redemption, but its definitely not one of the sought after ones.

The guy in the video gets a group of people together to purchase the box. Example would be a box that cost $500 would be split 25 ways. Each team would cost $20. How they decide to divvy up the cards is by buying a team.. any card with that team goes to the person who bought that team.

Here is an example of a more sought after silver ink auto from last years set:
https://www.amazon.com/Tier-One-Performers-Autographs-Autographed/dp/B07FZC25GP

The box (that had 3 cards and chance of a redemption) costs around $150.

Yeah I'm seeing it at 50

https://www.amazon.com/Overwatch-Origins-PlayStation-4/dp/B017L186MY

Oh well. 50 bucks multiplayer-only isn't my bag. Much less if you don't get everything for the price. Thanks for answering honestly.

Lmao who is upvoting this nonsense? If you've had braces then you know this is bullshit.

This https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Orthowax-Bestseller-Orthodontic-competitors/dp/B00FKDC0UU is what she's talking about not the shit that holds the braces on ya retards.

u/TrollsarefromVelesMK · 1 pointr/LivestreamFail

The article he linked to seems to pull literally all of its conclusions from this book, which is written by the author of the article: https://www.amazon.com/Social-Perception-Reality-Dominates-Self-Fulfilling/dp/0195366603

The book itself seems to say it disproves "highly cited darlings" of the psychology world concerning bias. A quick Google search of the author Lee Jussim brings up a bunch of his articles where it quickly becomes apparent that the dude is a far-right nutjob and a Google Scholar search pretty quickly shows that he is obsessed with proving the idea that stereotypes are accurate and are the reason liberalism exists. Which, somewhat ironically, taints his commentary and research with clear and extreme bias.
