You can only use one Joy-Con per player, as the other person said. If you want them to feel more comfortable, maybe try the Surge Grips on Amazon, or another kind of the same thing.
EDIT: On second thought, the FASTSNAIL Grips look a bit more comfortable.

I have some and love them. I refuse to play mario party without them. The only downside is you have to take the joy-cons out for vertical games.
