Hey! I actually went with this,

ASUS VG275Q Full HD 1080p 1ms Dual HDMI Eye Care Console Gaming Monitor with FreeSync/Adaptive Sync 27" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071KHHDNK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_05tWzbNA53DNB

The difference is freaking amazing tbh.

When I used to play on my TV, I was able to see the ball stutter when I was throwing it from SS to 1B, and with the at-bats, when the pitch was coming my way there would be slight lag. Now there's nothing at all. I would definitely recommend getting a monitor.

That's probably true, I got mine last Black Friday. But if you were already actually willing to spend money on a separate peripheral that will really make a difference for you in a single particular game that you are passionate about, might as well spend a little more for something that has a refresh rate and response time that's higher than a regular tv, or at least I would have. Take this for example: https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-65D1KCC1US-L23i-18-23-Inch-Desktop/dp/B0714KZN34/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=gaming+monitor&qid=1561991665&refinements=p_n_feature_fourteen_browse-bin%3A17751792011%2Cp_n_feature_eleven_browse-bin%3A17726577011&rnid=17726572011&s=pc&sr=1-1

this monitor is great if you're on a budget. It has a 2ms response time and an input lag of 10ms, which is about as good as you'll find. It's a 24" display with hdmi and built in speakers.

Check out displaylag.com and check it out. Search for anything in the 10ms range and you'll find a ton of excellent choices for any budget.

Don't get caught up in the 'get a 1ms response time' monitor thing, that isn't necessarily indicative of input lag, just how fast the pixels change color.

GameStop has been out for at least a week (according to the store manager at the one I frequent), but luckily it can still be had at Amazon if you want the Anniversary Edition.

I just grind the offline stuff and I'll be th4 guy that pulls packs cause it's fun lol, takes me back to being a kid. Only thing closer to being realistic is if I pulled a Todd Van Poppel every pack. Upper deck must have made millions of that dudes card.

I got this one a few months ago and it is awesome.

2019 Newest HP 27 Inch 144Hz FHD(1920 x 1080) Gaming Monitor with AMD FreeSync Technology and Tilt/Height Adjustment, 1ms Response Time, 16:9 Aspect Ratio, HDMI, DisplayPort, 400 Nits https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V62LDVQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_VwWTDb09NDJ8E

Get it from Micro Center though. Much cheaper.

I pre-ordered through Amazon. The only have the standard and MVP editions, if you care about that stuff.

If you are allowed to drill holes (I see the TV is mounted), you really should do something like this:

Datacomm Electronics 50-3323-WH-KIT Flat Panel TV Cable Organizer Kit with Power Solution - White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001PB7UVA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_rJ6mDb8BN2EDM

u/Maaaattybaseball · 1 pointr/MLBTheShow

60% off any electronic is suspicious. A curved monitor like that in that size is always gonna be $250+

Did you search that model on reputable websites yet? Like amazon for instance. Please don’t buy it, dude.

I really enjoy these. They keep the same shape as the analog stick while adding the height of a "medium" Kontrol Freeks stick.

u/mattmo317 · 3 pointsr/MLBTheShow

I got these, they take a bit to get used to but just having a little more height to the sticks helps accuracy a ton.

u/PatrickMB84 · 3 pointsr/MLBTheShow

they are up in Canada with Stroman on the cover... so maybe? there has been a lot of questions about the pre-order in the US lately and nobody has an answer.

You can find Logitech c920's for under 50$ that will be more then enough. Mic wise i used a https://www.amazon.com/Zalman-Zm-Mic1-Sensitivity-Headphone-Microphone/dp/B00029MTMQ for the first 2 months and my viewers thought it was great. I just got a Blue Yeti Microphone but havent had a chance to use it yet.

u/DrRichardShay · 2 pointsr/MLBTheShow

Sadly I don't think you are going to find it any cheaper. It really sucks that you guys continue to get the shaft on baseball games. It is a fantastic game though so I think it is probably worth the price. If the price is that prohibitive you could buy last years edition (here) and save a few pounds.

I use this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0773ZY26F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_6uvADbKHKFAD2

5ms response time. Most people recommend 1ms, but this has been fine for me. I've made WS every season

Here's the standard edition: https://www.amazon.com/MLB-Show-17-Standard-PlayStation-4/dp/B01MQA3LZG

The MVP edition is currently unavailable. I'm assuming they ran out of their planned inventory. I was able to order it last month. Here's the link anyway: https://www.amazon.com/MLB-Show-17-MVP-PlayStation-4/dp/B01M32DHAK?th=1
