I'm not sure if this helps, it does for me, but turmeric has been known to be a highly effective anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and anti-arthritic natural medicine.
Mix 1 full tsp turmeric with 1/4 tsp pepper in 10 once glass of water with green tea package. It will taste off but trust me it works! You can warm it to sip it like a broth or broth-tea. Mix regularly since turmeric powder settles and it should begin to clear it up symptoms.
You two be brave and positive, MMJ will relieve the pain if you can get your hands on it. But turmeric and green tea will hopefully reverse the disease she's been stricken with. The pepper is for the enzymes of turmeric to be absorbed more efficiently by the liver.
It doesn't hurt to try. Research it. Here's a good link for turmeric. God bless.

Edit: Vitamin D and B12 will help balance the immune system. Vitamin D deficiency has been linked with crohn's disease, by adding it back in it will correct the autoimmune system.
I would highly suggest investing in a vacuum sealer. I got mine refurbed for $26 shipped from a deal on www.meh.com which admittedly is a bit cheaper than usual but you can find them for around $50 and they generally include a roll that's several feet long and enough to make a ton of bags.
Once vac sealed then place inside the jar in a dark place and it will be insanely safe, literally about as good as you could ever ask.
Basically to ensure potency and no oxidation you want to have as little air as possible and that's why you need a vacuum sealer because it sucks it all out. There is no other way to do this properly asides from maybe a nitrogen wine preserving spray which is expensive and disposable.
If you don't want to take them out of their original bags I would suggest leaving them open before you vac seal them so the vac will remove the air from the original bags as well.
This one seems to be pretty decent for $43 and it's the #3 top selling one on Amazon
And by pretty decent I mean it looks a lot better than the cheap one I have lol.
It includes like 20 feet of rolls and 10 larger square pre-made bags so that's enough to seal A TON of stuff including food lol.
Vac sealing is by far the best option due to the lack of air and empty voids (pockets of air) which no other solution provides.
It's early dude. That plant needs to go until October at the earliest. You can give it some nutrients, maybe grab a quart of an organic nutrient like maybe this or this.
the castings will help, but they take time before those nutrients become available. the castings must go through the krebs cycle prior to the nutrients becoming available. it might be futile. the liquid nutrients above will be immediately available for the plant.
as far as the blackstrap molasses goes, it's not a fertilizer for your plants. it is food for your beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizae which will help promote a healthy root system. there are other carbohydrates out there like sweet that will help with flavoring, which i recommend above the blackstrap molasses.
you cannot tell the ripeness of the plant by looking at the hairs. different strains will behave differently. i have some strains that will still have all white hairs when i harvest all the way to strains that have orange hairs week before they are ripe. you can tell the ripeness by getting a 20x microscope and checking out the trichomes (crystals). they will start out clear and start to get cloudy then orangish or amber in color. as they get more amber this indicates higher levels of CBD's and less of the THC. most growers like to get their plants go until there are 25-50% amber trichs. i know it's hard to wait, but it'll be well worth it. you can snatch a couple of the bottom branches for now, but if you are patient she will yield 2-3x what she has on her now. happy growing.
You said it yourself man, cannabis elevates mood. Which is how it's used to treat PTSD, it stabilizes your mood and makes you happier and more compassionate.
I think plant medicines as a whole can be used interchangeably in some cases, which is a great benefit compared to specific and targeted pharmaceuticals you're probably used to that only treat one thing and one thing only. Not everyone wants to go through an intense psilocybin experience, some people might not be mentally ready, or they may have tried it and might be in the small population of people that psilocybin doesn't work for. Cannabis isn't just a one trick pony, and neither are many other plant medicines & drugs that are soon to be legalized. MDMA has also shown great promise I believe. MAPS is actually about to go through a 3rd wave of trials soon for psilocybin and if it performs well, it will then go straight to the FDA and probably be legalized. MDMA is expected to be legal sooner than that for treatments. Michael Pollan talks about this on a recent podcast with Joe Rogan which is here, as well as in his recently released book that can be found here, also check out his Twitter as he Tweets out research and news on drug studies often. Trump could also soon be signing a bill that would allow terminally ill patients to try cannabis, LSD, MDMA, or psilocybin to alleviate their symptoms, article here. Interesting things on the horizon for sure.
This might be a good time to try to find something you like in one of the classic greats like Miles Davis' Kind of Blue.
If you're open to classical music I recommend this rockin' album of music by Samuel Barber
Best of luck, friend.
Your best bet would be to buy one of those two fan window fans off of Amazon and seal it relatively well in your window. As long as the fans are on air will always be pulled into your room from outside your door so there will never be any risk of smoke leaving your room. You can always test the airflow by holding a lighter up to the gaps in the doorway/window. If just have a normal window fan pointing out the window usually a lot of air still enters the room and just defeats the purpose of the fan. If you can't open your windows in the winter you can always buy some foam window/door sealant to stick around your door frame to create a perfect seal. As for the sploof, tape some dryer sheets around the end of the toilet paper roll, then dump in about an inch layer of activated carbon, then stuff some more dryer sheets on top just to keep the carbon in. This sploof will completely eliminate ANY odors in the smoke making it smell like absolutely nothing. If you ever get tired of using the candle to light your bowls you could try out some hemp string. The main thing you'll have to worry about it letting the weed in your bowl burn freely. Make sure to put it out right away, only pack enough for one hit, or have something ready to cover the bowl with :D
From R.C. Clarkes Marijuana Botany: Propagation and Breeding of Distintive Cannabis
"Seeds are allowed to dry completely and all vegetable debris is removed before storage. This prevents spoilage caused by molds and other fungi. Seeds preserved for future germination are thoroughly air dried in paper envelopes or cloth sacks and stored in air-tight containers in a cool, dark, dry place. Freezing may also dry out seeds and cause them to crack. If seeds are carefully stored, they remain viable for a number of years. As a batch of seeds ages, fewer and fewer of them will germinate, but even after 5 to 6 years a small percentage of the seeds usually still germinate. Old batches of seeds also tend to germinate slowly (up to 5 weeks). This means that a batch of seeds for cultivation might be stored for a longer time if the initial sample is large enough to provide sufficient seeds for another generation. If a strain is to be preserved, it is necessary to grow and reproduce it every three years, so that enough viable seeds are always available."
This being said, virtually ALL seedbanks use a fridge/freezer for long-term storage. Humidity is the big evil in a fridge... After they are well dried, pack them into the smallest opaque/airtight container that will hold them. If you are going to put them in the fridge/freezer, add a silica packet or rice as a dessicant inside each sealed container.
sidenote: Hermaphrodites tendencies are passed through genetics, but often show after the plant is stressed. Receiving light during the dark cycle and heat are the 2 most common causes. though some will start kicking the male flowers out late into flowering to try and ensure survival of the species. Starting with seeds from a hermi will mean all future plants have a higher than normal chance of developing this trait. If you're just learning, probably not a bad place to start... If you were wanting to make $$$ or a career out of this I would buy/obtain better genetics it will save you a million headaches.
RC Clarkes Hemp diseases and pests is another great book
AGREED. That book is the BEST SOURCE OF INFO ALL IN ONE PLACE.
Definitely invest the $20.

Also, soil without fertilizer, and a HPS lamp. You can get a lamp, bulb, ballast and reflector for around $150 on ebay. This is the single most important factor for good returns. Will turn a plant producing an eighth or two into an ounce or two.
You have to remember how to enjoy it. In Lester Grinspoon's book, Marihuana Reconsidered, he spends the majority of one of the chapters discussing how learning to enjoy the effects of cannabis are a roadblock for many people. I'm sure that if it was fun once, you'll remember how it can be fun again.
Read. read. read. read. read. read
Dont waste money on good seeds right now. Use bagseed. It will give you the chance to learn the ropes and if you fuck up, you won't have wasted your good genetics.
I would seriously recommend setting up an account at ICmag. They are some of the most knowledgeable people on the web. It became the spot where most of the old OG members went after it got shut down. If you post a growlog there, read as much as you can, ask lots of questions, post pictures (carefully... just plants with nothing identifying in the background, etc.), you will learn a ton and grow some good weed.
As others have said. don't tell a soul. Loose lips sink ships. Check the legal forum and see how many people get in trouble because they got ratted out. That forum is a great place to learn from other people's mistakes. If you want to do this properly, you will likely have to change many aspects of your life that you may not be aware of.
Stay safe.
I use a Marshydro Mars 300 inside a small grow tent. I grow 2 plants at a time, 3 crops per year. I get about 50-60 grams cured bud per plant. I could probably get more if I doubled up the lights, but that's more than enough for my personal use.
I get seeds from Herbie's. They ship discreetly and are reliable.
Seeds are expensive, and can run $10 or more per seed for a new, powerful strain, guaranteed female. It behooves you to clone. Take cuttings from your plants a few weeks in, and let them grow in small pots alongside your big plants. When you switch to flowering cycle, 12/12, you need to remove the clones from the grow tent and give them full light. After you harvest, you can move the clones back into the tent. This saves several weeks over growing from seed, and you can easily get 4 crops per year.
I found that cbd made me want the real thing. Perhaps, the .03% of thc in the cbd was enough to spur my desire for more? I use this for cutting back https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E92JXHG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I use it for extended breaks.
The book presents scientific and horticultural principles, along with their practical applications, necessary for the breeding and propagation of Cannabis and in particular, marijuana. It will appeal not only to the professional researcher, but to the marijuana enthusiast or anyone with an eye to the future of Cannabis products.
I believe this book is a sort of abridged version of the authors dissertation on Marijuana botany.
I recommend Marihuana Reconsidered by Lester Grinspoon. It includes an essay by Carl Sagan, but you can just read that part online.
This is the book I was referring to (http://www.amazon.ca/Marijuana-Horticulture-Outdoor-Medical-Growers/dp/187882323X) .
It will contain the info that your after. Also don't hesitate to try different forums, rollitup.org is a starting point.
