  • more wipes. My husband uses more than necessary when he changes her so we have gone through 4 packs in a week.

  • nursing pads. I leak like crazy when my boobs let down.

  • more newborn size clothes. She's really more on the cusp of preemie sizes even at 6 lbs 3 oz.

  • halo sleep sack with swaddle option. She fights regular swaddles and needs the option of her arms being free.

  • preemie/slow flow nipples. I'm mostly BF but we introduced a bottle with expressed milk for the first time yesterday, and even with paced technique and a NB size nipple she sucked it down way too quickly.

Random purchase that wasn't really necessary but I have really liked for nursing: this top from Amazon. Comfy and pretty!

I just bought this to wear either on Halloween or at my toddler's birthday party, if that happens before then :)

Have you heard of YakTraks? Yaktrax Walk Traction Cleats for Walking on Snow and Ice, Small https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001CZJIPA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_3EJGybVNDBGVQ

I am from an ice and snow climate and they were really popular.

If you fall, aim for your ass. It grows in pregnancy to give us more padding! Haha. I fell on mine cutting down trees last weekend!

It was only 300 then. And my mom actually insisted on giving it to us for Christmas, so yay!

Amazon!

Be advised, they run small! I was a 14-16 pre-pregnancy and I'm in a 3XL in those in my third trimester and I'm not humongous.

I lived on Excedrin Migraine before getting pregnant. When I'm getting a migraine now (I get the typical "aura" so I know it's coming) I take two Tylenol and drink some soda. Then I sit with an ice pack head and on for about 30 mins. This has worked each time and stopped me from progressing into full blown migraine. This is the ice pack I use It was the first thing I bought when I found out I was pregnant. It looks silly but has been a life saver.
