It's a very specific socket like clip in. These silicone ones are nice and I use em on my 2018
Hood tie down loops.
Here are some that Yakima makes, but I think there are even less expensive ones out there.
These bolt to the frame of the car under the hood, which I prefer, there are others that just wedge under the hood if bolts aren't available.
