I'm so sorry your doctor decided to be an asshole rather than a professional. Her behavior is not ok! You may want to file a complaint with her practice or the medical board for your location. Definitely get to a different doc asap. It sounds more like you may have PCOS, which is a fairly common and treatable endocrine disorder. Fibroids are another thing that can cause the symptoms you described. You may need some blood tests to check your hormones, sugar, and cholesterol. They should also check your blood pressure, and may need to do an abdominal ultrasound to look at your uterus and ovaries for cysts and/or growths.

I also want you to know that the hymen has nothing to do with virginity. There is also no reliable test to determine virginity. Hymens come in a multitude of shapes and sizes. It's just a bit of vestigial tissue, that sometimes tears during sex. Some women tear once, some tear every time, some never bleed at all. Everyone is different, and that's ok! :)

You have not been deflowered by Dr Douchecanoe. Your worth is not determined by what or how many things have entered your body. I highly recommend that you read The Wonder Down Under:, a book written by two female doctors that is basically the owner's manual for anyone who has a vagina and wants to know about their body.

edit: I forgot to tell you, her less than gentle manner with your lady bits may have caused some cramping that flushed some leftover period blood out of your uterus. (Hence the dark color.) If you had tissue tearing, the blood would be bright red.

Here's the link to the book on amazon if you're interested in reading :) Has some good ideas for accountability that might apply to medical abuse of patients and so patients can find out about incompetent doctors as well: https://www.amazon.com/Unaccountable-Hospitals-Transparency-Revolutionize-Health/dp/1608198383
