I live with a few cats and they all like to walk on my mousepads 😼 I just wipe down the pad with my hand to get all the hair and crumbs off. You can also buy a lint brush like this one. I have one and it works on getting the hairs that my hand can’t wipe off, but some hairs get into the threads and those can’t be taken off by the brush.
Edit: read your post again. For the paw prints you can wash the pad in soap and water in your sink and let it air dry. Glorious claims their mouse pads are machine washable. Rocket Jump Ninja on YouTube has a video on how to wash your mousepads
I'm actually using this right now to try and keep things cool on my desk/hand, as well as a giant tower fan to cool the area. Thankfully the extreme summer heat is coming to an end and won't have to worry about it as much, but then I'll be able to complain about my joints being so cold that it slows down my play! The joys of being an older gamer.

On this link, the buff one actually looks a bit different than on amazon? Does it actually have these stitched edges like that? Can't really tell in your video.

Something like this, which can be found in black or clear. I use a clear one with my 305 if I'm not using my glipad, which is also a glass pad but $$$.
Note: I only recommend pebbled if you're using a G305 or something with the same sensor, because the chances of it working with other mice is slim.
Unfortunately I don't know any mouse pads that feature this, the closest I can find is the Richen Large Gaming Mouse Mat which features a lot of designs. Though if you could contact the company, you could maybe have them put your design on the mat if they do custom designs that is. I am not sure if they do custom designs but it is your best bet and worth a shot.

It's like $6 for a bottle at your local convenience store, so i think it's worth trying out. By that alone, i think it's worth pledging. The added slipperyness didn't seem much at first, but in gameplay it was noticeable.

It depends on the way the vents on your laptop are set up. In either case, I’d recommend getting a cooling pad to set your laptop on to help. Laptops already get hot, so cooling pads almost always help in some sort of way, and they’re usually cheap ($15-$30).
You can just set the cooling pad over the mousepad, with the laptop onto of the cooling pad
