Lots of terrific suggestions here already, but a few more:

Christopher Moore - light funny fast paced fiction with terrific dialog. Plots vary wildly, from Lamb, the story of Biff, Jesus's childhood friend, to Noir, a silly spoof of noir fiction.

Lock and Key graphic novels by Joe Hill. The art, characters and story are all perfection.

The Girl who Circumnavigated Fairy Land in a Ship of her own Making by Catherynne Valente. Valente is one of the most imaginative writers I've read, up there with Lewis Carrol. And this protagonist is so feisty and lovely. Shorter read then His Dark Materials but also first in a series. She also writes books for adults.

Find some like minded people ... even on the internet. Greta Thunberg, Malala, hell even Rosa Parks (she was young...not an old lady when she road that bus). Young Radicals is not a book I have read but you might enjoy it.

Know that there are lots of young people doing amazing things. Greta started a school strike. She stopped going to school years ago to bring attention to global climate change. You can join her movement on Fridays (or any days) in small ways.

Change comes from small things. Make the small things in your life more enjoyable. I started making sure that there was a crate for left-over/unwanted food in the cafeteria that I would bring upstairs so that people would have food throughout the day. It brings me joy to feed people.

I show my students some gardening...I try to plant things around the school but the landscapers keep killing them. I had picnic benches made and people destroyed one. But I'm not going to let that stop me.

Stay away from toxic people. Make friends with some like minded adults in your school. People who are supportive.

Read.

Read a lot!

Though this might put you on a list some where, it is a good book....recipes for disaster I found it to be a more artsyfartsy anarchists cookbook than a "blow shit up" anarchists cookbook.

you can search for it and get the pdf but this is not a pdf.

Read dystopia sci-fi.

Read Daniel Quinn's Ishmael and Story of B.

Honestly I would recommend reading about actual movements and autonomous resistance then inaccessible theory. IRL things get more complicated then theory and I've learned way more from looking at the lessons and accomplishments of people with boots on the ground in revolution. Also it helps me to believe that another world really is possible.

I recommend Compañeras: Zapatista Women's Stories by Hillary Klein and Walking with the Comrades by Arundhati Roy. Also Submedia's series Trouble has a lot of great reporting on movements we can learn from.
