Yes that's unfortunately true, but it's not exclusive to NBA 2K lol, it'll happen in any game with a lot of intense stick movement. I've taken like 5 controllers total to exchange at target, until I finally bought some grip covers (Here). It works like a charm I must say and don't have to worry about it anymore.

It still sucks that it happen, however at least Sony has acknowledged it

[edit]: So the trick I did (i think this only works if your ps4 controller is in good condition besides the thumbsticks) is bought a controller at target and just put the old controller in the new package, and went and exchanged it for a new one. You can even get a full refund I believe if you don't want the extra controller. Obviously don't be obvious about it, do this in the span of a week or so. Not in all the same day. And you don't have to either, just use the new one and return the old one in a few days saying the new one ripped. Or exchange.

Also don't forget to get some gripit thumbstick covers.
Also you might want to double check if you can get the full refund, I'm not 100% sure.

You can minimize the luck factor and have an advantage over everyone if you get an SSD.

I only have an SSD because I speedrun on ps4, (if i didnt, it wouldnt be worth it) but it refreshes the auction house way faster.

it's fixed the signal in the whole house, and I know you don't know me, but trust me when I say my house is an old brick house that eats signal for breakfast.....I can now online game, lag free(well at least 90% of the time) way upstairs with my router being way downstairs in the back corner of the house.

if you game online and are stuck with wifi.....it's well worth the investment. and yes i've tried other crappy cheap 50 dollar or even 100 dollar wife extenders. they do nothing.

before I could barely get one full game in 3 hours if I was lucky as I kept disconnecting....not anymore!

You should invest in a nice reusable water bottle to save money and to cut down on waste. I recommend this water bottle they have some sweet colors.
Last Year in 2k, when you saw the double team coming, you could call for a give and go, and they double team would back off.
Dont know if it works this year tho.

xbox 360 PC controller is probably your best bet for a cheap quality controller. I use it for all sports/racing games

Thanks. These are the ones I buy. The actual ps4 cases are slightly smaller and cost about twice as much so I just get those ones.

You said you have an xbox 360. Do you have a wireless or wired controller ?


If you have a wireless controller you can just get an adapter
like this one and use the controller on PC.

On my 360 I use the keyboard controller attachment to input the codes. I do it just because it's faster and easier. I've never done any of those first come, first serve codes. I don't think they are even on 'old-gen'.
