Florence Scovel Shinn specifically warned about this kind of stuff, I saw a recent post on here comparing her to Neville. She would always say to ask for your desires "if they are yours by divine right" and the idea was that you could never lose anything that was yours by divine right, and that if something wasn't meant to be yours it would substitute it for something better, so there would be no loss.

I also saw disclaimers added in It Works: The Famous Little Red Book That Makes Your Dreams Come True! where you ask for your desires or give thanks for them coming to you in perfect ways for the greatest good for all!
Glad you asked. Listed below are what I consider to be the classics which follow closely with Neville's teachings.

I am very sorry about your father's diagnosis. Clearly, I recommend pursuing all of the pharmaceutical, surgical, and other scientifically-proven medical treatments recommended by your oncologist.
As an adjunct though, I would look into Dr William Bengston. He has used a visualization technique (called rapid image cycling) to ameliorate (and cure) forms of cancer in mice -- in 8 different double-blind hospital studies. He is currently carrying out funded research at Brown University (specifically about this phenomenon).
Here are a few of his experiments in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Here is his book (where he details the history and evidence of the phenomenon and outlines the specific technique):

Once again, the most important thing is to follow the advice of your oncologist, but this technique shows much promise as a supplementary practice. Best of luck!
Interesting! I hadn't noticed thar the text lectures on the Neville & Carl website were abridged. From what I have, Neville rambles a little, like any older man and isn't quite as succinct.
I don't listen to Neville in his own voice much due to hearing problems, which is why transcriptions are so important to me. I guess I will have to compare the original audio to the transcriptions I bought.
I bought these on Amazon Kindle. The books are supposedly exact transcriptions and go from year to year and appear to be from 1963 - 1968. I have 1963 -1967 and they are amazing and massive. I am a prolific reader and I've only finished one book completely. I learn something new with each one. If you get the kindle editions, they're only about $4 each, which is well worth the price. Yeah, they're not free, but for me personally, they're worth the price.
Here are the links:
The Awakening: 1963 Lectures
Imagining and the Transformation of Man: 1964 Lectures
The Wonder Working Power of the Imagination: 1965 Lectures
I Am Is the Way: 1966 Lectures
Imagining Creates Reality: 1967 Lectures
The Fall and Restoration: 1968 Lectures
Agreed! Even though the books are online for free, I do prefer reading paperbooks. I purchased this complete works and I've loved it! It's from the same people who put up the Neville lectures on YouTube.
As far as what books to read, I don't like reading on screens so I ordered this very inexpensive NG collection that has his 10 books in chronological order https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1537520725/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Many people recommend reading "The Law and the Promise" first, but I'm glad I read his earlier works first. Even though they weren't as interesting I understand his later works better because I read them.
If you like Charles Haanel, also give Walter C. Lanyon and Robert A. Russell a read.
This book is also a great compilation of writings: https://www.amazon.com/Prosperity-Bible-Greatest-Writings-Secrets/dp/1585429147
The book never had an audible version but the Sounds True course is audible only: https://www.amazon.com/Hands-Healing-Training-Course-Energy/dp/B004BDSF6I/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2OI51I4R7949U&keywords=bengston+energy+healing+method&qid=1563631201&s=gateway&sprefix=bengston%2Caps%2C305&sr=8-3

I have listened to the course daily for about 6 days. I know I'll be using the course daily to practice
