Be advised that case is fairly heavy on it's own. It was actually too heavy for me to carry every day, I ended up leaving it to gather dust on a shelf. I use the moko ultra slim smart cover. It was super cheap (I picked it up for like $8) and works well enough.

I was hoping to buy the official cover, but it doesn't work as a stand, and it's expensive, compared to other cases.

I first bought a keyboard case since I thought it'd be cool to have.

It was shit. Just made the thing bulky, the keys stuck, and there was no way to just use it like a tablet. Don't bother with those.

I returned it to buy this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009YLL5AA/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Very nice case. I wish I got black instead of brown, but still--very nice. Doesn't rotate though. Stuck with portrait viewing.

I saw this one, it looks nice and pretty decent reviews, think I'm between that one and this http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-KeyFolio-Universal-Removable-K39519US/dp/B00604YU4C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407810595&sr=8-1&keywords=google+nexus+10+keyboard+case Anyone have input on this? looks like its not only for the nexus 10 so thinking the cutouts wont be where they need to be.

I also have a poetic hardback. Good case, sturdy and cheap. The top cover clasp doesn't really work for shit though. Also, can't use the camera with the cover folded back.

edit: I found said case on amazon. Like I said, nice and cheap. Not a bad option.

I snagged this keyboard for $60. It works perfectly for multiple devices.

u/larsgj · 2 pointsr/Nexus10

I have this - it's good because of the casse, but my Logitech bluetooth tablet keyboard has much better keys.

I've had this cover for mine almost since the thing came out and it's freaking incredible. I never expected it to last so long without any wear at all. It has the auto sleep/wake function you're looking for and the footprint around the edge of the tablet is super minimal. Recommend it 100%.

They're all pretty much equivalent as software is concerned. The hardware is a matter of personal preference, so it's hard to call one the "best".

I use this Logitech, and like it fine. If I were buying one today, I'd get this (solar charging, fast switching between devices) or this (no fast switching, I don't think, but a numpad etc) instead, based on the rave reviews of their longevity.

As luck would have it, I received my new external USB powered OTG cable today. I tried it and watched about 30 minutes of a movie that was giving me trouble over the weekend, and did not have one single stutter. I will need to give it a longer test before I can say it is cured, but for anyone else looking for a solution, give this a shot.

I used the pogo with usb extender cable and love it. It's connected to the nexus 10 charger and it charges faster AND while screen is on.

Though that would work my extender is only 4'.

This might be it? Looks the same to me, but doesn't list the specs. Obviously the cable itself will be useless to you.

Ok, that's not it either. It looks like that's what you want, but that and other similar products on Amazon are apparently counterfeit and don't supply enough power. Very weird that you cannot get the stock power adapters any more.

From this xda thread:

> Basicially the Samsung chargers have 2 pins shorted together to get full charging power of around 1.5A with the n10. Using other chargers will get you around 500ma output.

> My guess is if you left your tablet on the "other" chargers overnight it would come on just fine. They simply don't output enough juice to power the tablet when the battery is that low.

Thanks very much both, I should have linked to the adapter before

I found a review on the Canadian Amazon that says it works well with the Nexus 10
http://www.amazon.ca/Cable-Matters-Active-Female-Adapter/dp/B00879ELGA

My monitor is a HP Compaq LA2205wg, looking at some comments it doesn't support 1080p, I'm guessing this is the problem?

I'm kind of surprised it doesn't work, it's not an old screen......

u/FreydNot · 2 pointsr/Nexus10

I have this one http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AG0D61O but I don't like it very much. It's missing mouse controls.

I recently got this one http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BALK9CM and it works better than I thought it would. It's not great for typing a novel, but for simple controls and typing a short email it gets the job done. It is deceptively small (5715012.5mm).

Get a bluetooth keyboard and watch your tablet woes disappear. This is the one I have: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009JPBPWO/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My case has a built in stand so I find the combination of the two to be great.

u/Doktor_Rob · 3 pointsr/Nexus10

I have the Moko Slim-Fit Multi-angle Folio Cover Case and it has a cut out area so you can attach the pogo connector with the case closed. If you really want to have it connected while in a standing position, you might consider getting a tablet stand like this one that leaves room for the connector. You might have to leave it hanging over the edge of your shelf or desk, but it would work.

But, no, I do not believe there are any 90° pogo cables and even if there were, I doubt they'd be flush enough to fit in your case.
