I've been very happy with Jansport's Pouches. I have the newspaper one. The OP-Z sits perfectly in the upper section's holder and has a pocket for a few cables and such below.

JanSport® Newspaper Pouch

Also comes in 🌯Burrito and 💀Day of the Dead.

u/shitgoessouth · 4 pointsr/OPZuser

Fits the OP-Z and original box foam perfectly under the bottom strap and cables can go in the top mesh. It’s probably pretty water resistant, but definitely not waterproof. Worth considering.

You want the larger of the two.

I bought this pen case on Amazon for mine and it's great. Added some extra foam padding inside, much better than their official case imo: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B072JV89G6

Thanks for the answer.

I found this UE Booms: link

But it only has a micro usb port, no aux.

For the Behringer Europort, I saw several models, but can't decide what fits best

This is available and I currently use it to carry my op-1 and op-z around at the same time, it's quite nice. Has a little bag on the side for cables as well: https://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Engineering-002-XS-801-OP-1-Synthesizer/dp/B00CXSK098/ref=sr_1_3 -- my apologies if it has already been suggested in the thread or your post, just wanted to share what I've been doing/what has worked for me. Best of luck! (edit* It may be a bit "large" for just the op-z, but I still use it for that as well)

u/jakekingdead · 1 pointr/OPZuser

Oh wow looks like they got rid of the line in with version 3. Boom 2 and the UE Roll have line-in.

This is the Europort I have -

To deal with the noise I use a ground loop isolator on both OP devices when recording to DAW, removes most of the noise, I bought this one (out of stock now) but I'm sure others will work just as well;

Just check the hermitshell hardcase for anker battery, the larger one. You can throw it safely in a backpack ! And it' cheap !!

u/_quickman · 2 pointsr/OPZuser

It’s the cable. You need this cable. Also, that interface only has a mono line input (ideally for a guitar) so if any of the sounds on the OP-Z are panned or if you’re using stereo effects like chorus or reverb, it won’t sound exactly like it does in your headphones.

u/buildmake · 3 pointsr/OPZuser

I got the Maker Hart Loop Mixer for exactly this: https://www.amazon.com/Maker-Hart-LOOP-MIXER-Portable/dp/B01M68UK38

It's small (75% width of the OP-Z, and about twice the height of one), has 5 stereo 3.5mm inputs, separate line out and headphone jack. Requires DC power and no battery, which is the only downside. Perfect for a small desk setup, and very easy to travel with.

u/eriorkless · 1 pointr/OPZuser

Really??? So I can use a splitter to still get audio out and still record line in?

I have one of these adapters which works for direct sampling: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OAXHXGM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

But the limitations of not being able to get audio back out.

Do you have a proven working TRSS splitter you can recommend to buy?

u/cadburycartoon · 1 pointr/OPZuser

Nice! If they do update it then a cheap upgrade (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0788M8W77/) gives you a potential line in option!

u/yannage · 5 pointsr/OPZuser

I noticed that if I have the gain on the OP-1 from line in anything above 0, it gives feedback noise. I also have been using a noise isolator since I got my OP-Z. I noticed even when plugging into my computer via line-in it buzzes a bit. This has helped a lot.

u/maskull · 2 pointsr/OPZuser

This looks just like the hard case that has been often recommended, with a slightly different mesh pocket...

Edit: fixed the link to point to the model that the OP-Z actually fits in ("battery pack and charger" fits, "battery" is too small).

u/thefilmjerk · 1 pointr/OPZuser

I got this one, not a pelican but it is pretty damn beefy. It fits really well, too.

Here's the uk link for that case (I just ordered one, thanks for the tip!) LIHIT LAB Pen Case, 9.4 x 1.8 x 3 inches, Black (A7552-24) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004WMWEB0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ozN0CbC9Z5GNV

u/reckoner15 · 4 pointsr/OPZuser

I searched and searched and searched for a battery-powered stereo mixer but couldn't find anything with the size and portability that I wanted... settled for the mono out Bastl Dude. I was recommended the Rolls Stereo 4-channel during my search, though!

u/Animabeats · 2 pointsr/OPZuser

I wonder if has something to do with mono vs. stereo - maybe you need to use an 1/8” to stereo 1/4” cable? This is how I record mine.

UGREEN 3.5mm 1/8" TRS to Dual 6.35mm 1/4" TS Mono Stereo Y-Cable Splitter Cord Compatible for iPhone, iPod, Computer Sound Cards, CD Players, Multimedia Speakers and Home Stereo Systems 6FT https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZKM3S4S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ZzMwCbVPC6V9C

Out of curiosity, what happens if you turn up the drum group (hold mixer button at the top and turn green dial)?

u/wenceslaus · 1 pointr/OPZuser

Regarding the noise issue when plugged in, it might be worth checking to see if you are experiencing a USB ground loop. Every person's studio setup is different, so verify that there aren't other devices affecting your power supply. I get high pitched USB-related noises periodically in my Eurorack system and purchased a ground loop eliminator to rectify. See also Youtube demo.

Can you use Bluetooth midi and usb audio at the same time? I have not tried pressing the button on back while using a usb-c audio connection.
