This book is SO much fun. It’s an interactive one so more fun when they get a little older.
A fun story about sharing and the importance of friendship when you need help.
This one is a hilarious story about a mean dog falling out a window lol. It was recommended to me by a little girl at Barnes and Noble. She picked it up and said “Wanna read about the worst dog ever?” She wasn’t wrong haha.
Just a nice little rhyming bedtime story about construction equipment.
Yes, like the Raffi song! Singing books are sooo great to help get your little one interested in talking. This was one of my favorite songs as a kid but I only recently found out about the book. My son loves singing this with me.
About loving your kid no matter who they are. Although I feel like it’s slightly geared toward moms of boys, it’s great for any kid or parent (they don’t actually use pronouns for the kid in the book FYI).
About the dreams and wishes for your baby as they grow up. Definitely on the sappy side, geared a little more toward moms of girls but I read it to my son often (and cry while I do it).
Cute rhyming story about the importance of friendship and being nice to those you meet.
This one is a little older but idk if everyone has heard of it. It’s essentially an interactive book that teaches your kid that they have control of monsters. Each page pieces together a picture of a monster (it’s not a scary one), until you tell the monster to go away, and then each page takes a piece of the monster away.
The Pigeon books, Elephant and Piggie books, and Knuffle Bunny are all great. Funny for adults and engaging for kids.
(Will edit and add more later as I think of them)
My 14 month old twins LOVE to read. Some of our favorite books include:
The Dreamers series by Emily Winfield Martin. All of her books are amazing. The art is beautiful and there’s whimsy to her stories. There are two more books outside of this set I linked and they enjoy them both.
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is very well liked by them, although it’s not my favorite. They love the bright colors and the fun attitude. It was one of the first ones I read to them when they were newborns (with the big paper back size) because the colors and shapes were bold.
Mama Loves You So is a short and sweet story. I love the illustrations and my girls love it too.
Wish is especially great for those who have struggled with infertility or loss. And even if you haven’t, it’s a lovely story. Warning: I still cry every time I read it to them.
Every Little Thing for you Bob Marley fans
Take Heart My Child is a sweet book for those of you who are sentimental. They don’t always love to sit still for it now, but it’s great for newborns.
And in general, they LOVE the books you can interact with and touch a feel like the dog/animal books with different furs. They like this Monster book that has a bunch of textures. They like this Dont Touch the Button book that is fun and interactive. They love flip the flap books, especially ones with animals and they helped them learn the sounds very easily. They also like the little puppet books.
I'm a crocheter and love to make amigurumi. I love the book Yummi Gurumi and just bought the book Animal Friends of Pica Pau.
I'm making a baby blanket right now too, I got the pattern off Etsy. I also have a long list of things in my Ravelry account to make as well haha.
Has anyone tried any morning sickness candies? I need candies that are individually wrapped to bring into work, but I wanted to see if anyone had a specific kind that worked for them??
I found these two on Amazon that sound like they could be promising? I don't really like ginger, so I was hoping the raspberry ones would mask some of the ginger taste.

Have your tried snacking throughout the day - a plain cracker here and there? You can also try sucking on a hard ginger candy.
