What other inputs does the TV have? Composite is pretty shitty, even when talking about analog inputs.

>I'm considering buying an HDMI to composite adapter but I need one to transfer the sound to the TV speakers as well.

Anything like this should transfer audio as well:

>I would also want to use the TV as an everyday monitor but of course 640x480 wouldn't be very livable.

I'm not sure what you are asking here. Are you asking for CRT TV suggestions? Or is this just a general comment?

Unfortunately, it's extremely difficult to enjoy 3D games on keyboard and mouse settings. You can find a controller easily on amazon for $20 and they last forever, so they're a great deal! "Best Seller" https://smile.amazon.com/Controller-Gamepad-Computer-Windows-Android/dp/B00OAYHIRA/ref=sr_1_3?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1537488831&sr=1-3&keywords=pc+controller . It's $20 and as long as you don't throw it around they last forever. Really not much of a reason NOT to buy one.

If you don't want to use any extra software then this
adapter works well. It allows you to switch between x-input and d-input easily.

I selected Pad 1 and configured it by pressing the corresponding buttons on the gamepad. The gamepad is a generic USB local gamepad, Enter USB Gamepad.

DS4 windows and inputmapper are great softwares but both are far from complete... there are a lot of small but extremely annoying bugs with them. I cant remember the exact problem but I only use DS4windows now because Inputmapper had issues with wireless, Inputmapper is supposedly the ''better'' program though.

I see you are asking about a power only USB connection for charging your controller, well this is possible and this is the exact way I managed to have a stable wireless connection for my DS4 and which also fixed this 'second controller/Xinput1' problem you're having with PCSX2.

I had to pair the controller with my PC whenever i charged it because when it switched to a wired connection it fucked with the blutooth for some reason.

so your options for a power only USB connection for charging are:

  1. plug your USB cable into a USB wall adapter instead of your PC.

  2. cut open your USB cable and sever the white and green data wires, with some care and a sharp blade you can make a small incision along the cable and use a small scissors/blade to cut the wires, might need a bit of tape after but thats all
  3. buy a power only USB cable. these existed at some point because I have one but I can only find power only USB extenders on amazon right now... these will work fine though, heck if not better since you can extend the cable you're using now.
