-I had the gold headset before this one and it felt very cheaply constructed comparatively (only lasted 6 months before the folding part snapped and shattered). It's def a fine option at the current Amazon sale ($69.99), but buyer beware. The plat has a pliable metal band that can take a beating... I may have accidentally stepped on it once... or was it twice? Regardless, the headset brushed it off like a champ.

-I've had the plat for 2+ years now with heavy use and it shows no sign of breaking/cracking, audio quality loss, or charge depletion issues.

-Like any good wireless headset, the usb dongle works perfectly fine (and has WAY better range) when plugged into a computer. I play rocket league on PS4 all the time with my friends who are on PC, and I use this headset for discord on my laptop.

-If you've got the initial line Ps4Pro and it runs like a jet engine (despite cleaning and replacing thermal paste...), these have decent noise reduction to combat the small exploding star in your room.

-There is an app on playstation that you load EQ sound profiles on that are designed by game devs for their respective games... but idk if my app is busted or if they never update it, but the plat app only has like 3 options for me and I can't get it to update... not really a selling feature here, BUT you can set your own EQ and save it to one of the two presets on the plat headset and load it on the fly, which is pretty cool.

-3D audio, dual mic voice capture, and the standard bass boost switch are welcome features here compared to the gold. 3D audio SHINES on this thing, but it only works with PS4.

-In regards to price point, this is a great list compared to the trend (CamelCamelCamel Link) and the cheapest a new one has ever been made available besides a crazy brief sale in april.

This is a great price for a great game. I submitted it to Amazon hoping they'll price match. I have more benefits there.

A 3rd-party seller using Fulfillment by Amazon is pretty much just as good as buying from Amazon itself.

I'm seeing average prices for BO3 at about $40 (new) and $30 (used) (e.g. see Amazon). But my local Craigslist has a lot of lightly-used going for about $40 as well, probably because the list price of $60 for new can still be found in retail. Honestly, I just bought this deal myself (and saved $5.99 on the shipping by signing up for 3 months of free Newegg Premier), and I don't care about BO3. I'm going to wait for the current ($40 for new) promotions to end, and when the price goes back to $60 (which is what Best Buy is charging right now), I'll try my hand at selling it. That makes this a great deal for me for a PS4+Uncharted.

If you're looking for other games to add to your to buy list, check out Bloodborne, The Last of Us, and the Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection. All are amazing and all are less than $20 pretty much everywhere. Uncharted 4 can also often by found for $20-$30 also and is great.

Looks like Best Buy just dropped the price to $19.99, matching Amazon's price. Obviously, lower at Best Buy if you have GCU.

Amazon has it at the same price ($39.99) and it says it is good until December 24th. I'm holding out hope for a better deal before then.

Without Modern Warfare you get a 20% discount that drops it to 47 bucks, if you have prime. Personally I would avoid pre-ordering and wait until it has a chance to be reviewed. The discount sticks around for two weeks after release, so imo it's better to determine whether to buy it or not then.

Looks like the TRIPLE15 code is for new customers. Amazon also has it for $139.46 if you don't want to use Jet.com. I don't have experience with them so not sure how reliable they are.

I typically look at what others are selling it for used to determine how much lower it could go. With the new price being lower than the used, I would consider another decrease to be unlikely any time soon.
