I’ve been using the Sennheiser HD 598 CS through the headphone jack on the DS4 for a long time. Extremely comfortable, well built, and incredible audio quality. I’ve had them for 2.5 years now and they are just barely started to show wear on the ear cups. Incredible value as well.

Was a years long headset user from Sony, Tritton, and Astro dating back to my early teen years. Ditching headsets was the best choice I ever made audio wise. The in-line mic isn’t as good as a boom arm but it’s worked well for me when I rarely need to use it. I’d recommend waiting to the 598s or something similar, or even the HyperX you mentioned. Never had good personally experiences with consumer grade Sony audio products, specifically their old PS3 headsets.

I'd love a clean DS5 wireless charging solution. Had to buy an import OEM DS4 charging cradle (LINK, highly recommend it!), since SIE couldn't be bothered to sell their own version here in the US.

This is the next best thing. it works very well for me.

I pair it to this so i can use my favorite wired headphones for days and days without needing to charge it.

as someone that uses this combonaton for 8+ hours every day i can confirm it works great but you can pair any headset to the dongle easily

Yes there is a risk the PS5 will be the same, Sony never fixed the Samsung HDMI compatibility bug, it went beyond that to PC monitors too, other consoles never had these problems it was PS4 only.

I would recommend selling your TV and replace with another brand.

If you don't want to do that the only alternative is to put a low latency HDMI signal processor between the console and the TV like a HD Fury Vertex 2 but that is expensive, money is better put towards new TV.

A cheaper gamble is purchase a HDMI 1 in 2 out clone display box, the PS4/PS5 will see the box as the TV so it handles hankshaking then simply connect both outputs to your TV if you don't mind losing an extra HDMI port.

Anything on Amazon like this and here's a guide for you to swap it out. It's super simple.

If you want to clone the HDD you have now because you have games and stuff you don't want to delete I would suggest to buy a HDD cloner. Its really easy and I've done it multiple times for just cloning when I did upgrades.

Personal note: $139 for 1tb SSD was like $500 back when it released. I don't even think if they had 1TB SSD. Crazy. If I wasn't already at 1TB I would buy, but I'm going to just wait for the PS5.

Look at this mouse and keyboard officially licensed by Sony. How do you think they will ban them if they encourage them?

400£ is 520 USD and that is 220 USD more than the PS4

"I'm educated enough" if you are that educated than why don't you show it instead of saying it? You can't just say you are superior and expect other to consider you that way.

"There's a difference between opinion and fact. I don't care for your subjective remarks" Well we are discussing about if mouse and keyboard should be allowed or not and if it is cheating. This is purely subjective and based on opinion. About the PC, every price you say is more that the PS4 and I have proven that through facts. So where are my "subjective remarks"?

This is the charging station I use, but there are others that also charge from the bottom.

Bro wtf are you talking about? https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-GAMING-Graphics-11G-P4-2383-KR/dp/B07GHW9VJZ

Also, if you didnt know, you need high performance everything (COU RAM good motherboard, power supply etc) to be able to use a high powered card like the 2080 ...

AMD is shit anyways who cares about AMD

Something like THIS WIRELESS BRIDGE is what you need.
It allows you to connect the PS4 via Ethernet and then the device connects to the WiFi.

Is the built-in WiFi on the PS4 too weak for you?

>Depends heavily on the country. In here they set you back 600€ a piece, used. They were strix cards afterall

I'm from Germany. Here you'll find a strix 1080 Ti 11GB for 349€.

>PS5 will not support 8k gaming. How in the hell would it be able to play native 8k games when not even rtx 2080 TI can do it and ps5 won't have a card even near that?

Most likely not native but with upscaling. However some indie titles shouldn't have issues to deliver native 8K as well. And it depends on the game. Of course the 2080 can deliver native 8K. But not for every game. No one said PS5 will deliver it for every game. I literally said just some will offer 8K. Also console software performance is heavily optimized for one single hardware setup unlike PC games.

>Don't be an overly foolish fanboy. Link me an article or proof that shows sony saying that they WILL do 8k gaming. Otherwise you are speaking out of your ass

I'm not. I don't even care about 8K at all. But it was announced that next gen supports 8K. That's why I argues against 8K being impossible. It's not.

EDIT:
Here is the Wired Interview with Mark Cerny who said that the next gen supports 8K.

I'd imagine the PS5 will be compatible with external drives just without the ability to play games straight from the external, but we won't know util it's out.

On a side note, $80 for a 2TB external? That's insane. This is literally the exact same hard drive, they're charging $20 for the PS logo and the few minutes of time it takes to formate the drive.
