Oh, and for the case this NZXT H510 (in my opinion:) looks great. I included the links for black and white version.

Other than those two cases you can still find some amazing looking cases under that price point.
Enjoy!

Great build, but as said, for a ryzen build you really want to go with atleast 3000mhz RAM.
And i feel like the gaming experience might be a lot better with a 144hz refreshrate for the monitor instead of 60hz.

This monitor might be a little over budget, but it has the 144hz znd 1ms response time, it is curved and has freesync what is one hella good feature. https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Non-Glare-FreeSync-Optix-MAG241C/dp/B07FB6SY6Z/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?keywords=Msi+144hz&qid=1566039092&s=gateway&sr=8-2

This would be my personal pick. Haven't tried the MasterAir Pro yet- so no comments about it- but since the Evo, CM has never made a worthy air cooler- hence the credibility of their newer models are at stake. Feel free to give a try though, or stick with the safer alternatives; like the Noctua U14, D14, Cryorig H5 Ultimate, R1, Le Grand Macho, Scythe Mugen 5 etc. These are tried and proven by many.

As far as power supply 600watt seems to be the sweet spot. Just make sure it's at least a bronze rating, gold is preferred. The one you have is just plus rated. In my experience less efficient power supplies have been the cause of some some component failure. Also can be the difference maker in stability of a build. Better efficiency psu[Psu](Power Supply 600W Semi Modular 80+ Bronze, GAMEMAX VP-600-M-RGB https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SH7DHBS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_LlpRDbJNHES8W) i mean CPU cooler. It is not recommend to use the one that comes with the cpu. A decent air cooler ( with direct contact heat pipes like the Evo 212) or closed loop water cooler should be installed instead. Ram you have is fine but if you can swing the 3200mhz version do it considered optimal performance beyond diminishing returns. Do you have thermal paste for the cpu? Also is it possible to get the 2700x? The additional clock speed is more beneficial to gaming

EDIT: probably should have asked how you plan on using your PC..

this build will do everything you need it to do and do it like a beast.

For monitors you can either go with 2 of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00P6O3YYO/ref=psdc_428652031_t2_B00OA2I362

or you can go with something like this:

Dell Ultra HD 4K Monitor P2415Q 24-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor

or a 27 inch here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PC9HFNY/ref=twister_B014R6J7VU?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

and get a really cheap monitor like this:http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/samsung-monitor-fx2490hd
that would be my recommendation. get the 27 inch if your really going to need it, and the 20 dollor TV, or get a 24 inch version

http://www.amazon.com/Dell-Monitor-P2415Q-24-Inch-LED-Lit/dp/B00PC9HFNY

and save the extra money. Just my 2 cents. GL on the build! promise you wont regret it :D

For CPU, I’d personally go for the Ryzen 5 3600 for $195. If you’re set on intel, get the i5 9600K at $200. It is superb for gaming. Note that if you plan to switch to Ryzen, you’ll have to get a different motherboard.

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_cEx3DbVKGKK9J

Intel Core i5-9600K Desktop Processor 6 Cores up to 4.6 GHz Turbo Unlocked LGA1151 300 Series 95W https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HHLX1R8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_OFx3Db0KZ01XH

For GPU, the 2070 super is a go to.

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC 8G Graphics Card, 3X Windforce Fans, 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6, GV-N207SGAMING OC-8GD Video Card https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WN6WB4G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_pGx3DbXWMK6AY

u/xeidou · 1 pointr/PcBuild

Well its not a super, and i would get atleast 2 fans, better get this https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-WINDFORCE-Graphics-Windforce-GV-N206SWF2OC-8GD/dp/B07TT8QQ5M/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=2060+super&qid=1568288937&s=gateway&sr=8-5 or simmilar its 50 bucks extra but its super, which has about 16% better performance

Your Pcpartpicker is okay but if you don't want to build one this is better - CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme VR Gaming PC, Intel Core i5-9400F 2.9GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB, 8GB DDR4, 240GB SSD, 1TB HDD, WiFi Ready & Win 10 Home (GXiVR8060A8, Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VGJDKZ4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_2Ht4DbET449BG but if you do want to build your own go for this one https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/rgj48d/modest-amd-gaming-build

I already have an SSD, WD BLACK SN750 500GB NVMe Internal Gaming SSD - Gen3 PCIe, M.2 2280, 3D NAND - WDS500G3X0C https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MH2P5ZD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_9dVmLeB3aDzXE
Im pretty sure it will work

u/Timtheuselessgod · 3 pointsr/PcBuild

I’d save a bit of money and go with a b450 board unless you absolutely need the pcie 4.0. this MSI tomahawk is good or this Gaming pro Carbon if you want wifi built in. The other things I’d swap is your ssd for an intel 660p. It’s cheaper and faster.

As for a cooler, with the black theme you’ve got going a dark rock pro 4 would look pretty sweet in there, just check compatibility with your memory for clearance.

What's your budget? Are you planning on getting a GPU?

500 gb is not a lot of space these days. I would maybe opt for a cheap SSD to put your OS, maybe something like this Sandisk 240gb and a 1 TB HDD like this one.. That way you can also have a backup drive for your SSD for important docs.

Case looks like it will fit but if you want a nicer one I'd go with this one.

It is. If she doesn't do much gaming you could even pick up an amd rx 460 4gb for her build. They are a bit less powerful than the 1050ti's but both still have 4gb of v-ram which is great for open world games with long draw distances and lots of on-screen details. On amazon they go for $120 (https://www.amazon.com/XFX-Radeon-DisplayPort-PCI-Express-RX-460P4SFG5/dp/B01JGQUIU0).

Take the motherboard out and look for blown capacitors or damaged board.

Some places can just replace the capacitors (Very small soldering iron tip and flux)

I had a similar problem not too long ago. Turns out the bottom of the board had a short. Looked like water damage had erroded the board away and broke part of the copper connection inside the board itself. That's harder to fix but you can use something like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Circuit-Scribe-Conductive-Ink-Pen/dp/B00OZATJ3A to repair the connection.

I advise against this but as a last ditch effort you could try.

Other than that it's a new mobo i'm afraid. Good news tho. Motherboards are fairly cheap (Depending on what type you want/need)

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYHZ6R6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6uphDbBQF28HX this is a pretty good monitor. It’s 144hz and there is also a 1440p version of it
