I have the Dome Glass screen protector on mine with the defender at it works great. There is a hair of space between the screen protector and the case so dust can get in but overall, I am very happy with both products and well worth the money for a great phone.

You should get a case but good luck finding a screen protector that'll fit it.

I run without a screen protector but it should accommodate one pretty easily.

Not too intrusive but protects the phone well.

I have bought a few of these and the fit is amazing. Only issue is you get a weird rainbow effect under the protector sometimes. But for the fit and price is worth it.

This one fits fine for me. I use it with an OtterBox Defender, and there's like a millimeter of clearance between case and protector. This is a dot matrix tempered glass protector with glue around black painted edges. Works fine for me until I pony up for a Domeglass protector

If you use it with a large case like a defender, put the protector on while the case is on the phone.

when you apply it, you need to let it sit and dry for like a day. Do it before you go to bed, let it sit overnight, and be super careful with your phone the next day (I would avoid pockets).

This looks promising if you can remove the built in screen protector. There is also a supcase and unicorn beetle that appear similar...pretty large cases.. but do cover the edge... And if you can remove built in screen protector.

No problems with a number of cases I've tried and very little pocket lint, nothing a puff of air won't knock out. There are probably better ones, this is the only one I've tried and I've felt no need to look further in the 2 months I've had it.

I run with my Pixel 2xl regularly. Gotta find a decent armband on Amazon that's what I do. Works great. I'd like to ask a question. Why won't you use a protector that uses water to set it?

I have never seen a protector you describe, they're all precisely cut to fit for the entire display.

I've tried multiple glass and screen protectors. The one I link below has been on for 5 months and hasn't lifted. Has a rainbow effect until completely dry.

It's far from perfect, but it's the first one that didn't fall off 3-5 days later..

I also use it with the rhinoshield crashguard, so case usage will vary.

I've been wobbling between the Spigen and the Ringke for a couple bucks less. How much protection do you think the Spigen offers? I've been using the Diztronic TPU, but it makes the phone quite bulky and I really don't like the way it doesn't contour around the top screen edge.

I have only needed 2 so far and they work well. Current one is going almost a year.

I've blasted through so many Zagg invisashield ones, and they are a hassle to submit for a replacement, don't stick, and break easily. Stay the fuck away from those.

I have this one that I use with this case.




The screen protector is poorly rated on Amazon, but I've not had any issues with it at all. It might be because the case is holding down the edges which seems to be most people's complaint.




Note: The case comes with a plastic screen protector as part of the case, so you have to cut it off to use the glass protector. Took me five minutes with an Exacto knife.
