Should be able to do it relatively quick as the cutting portion takes the longest. And honestly, I tried a new method last night that worked pretty well and if you have something to cut it, it could be really easy for you. It's like a plastic transparency film, and then you spray the back with a removable/adjustable/repositional/whateveryouwannacallit spray adhesive and you can actually reuse the stencil over and over again rather than a stencil made with freezer paper is more of a once use kinda thing. The only annoying part to keep track of is the beak because it's so small and it's the only piece that is apart from the rest.
You should have no problems with it tracking while the Pokemon Go app is running in the background and the phone is locked. The Go plus's will disconnect after a while of running.
When you unlock your phone after walking a long time you might notice that it takes a minute or so to load the current area and the progress you've made while your phone was locked.
Eggs will often wait until after this reloading time to play the hatching animation. You might find the hatched pokemon in your pokemon storage box before the animation is played, it doesn't happen very often but it's not a big problem.
For buddy candies, it will give you the candies the same way it hatches eggs; loading and then doing. If you walk far enough to get 2 candies, it will give you the correct amount but give only the one notification.

I wouldn't buy it just for the price. Yeah it looks cool and all but you can get a 13000mAh power bank on Amazon for $26 instead of $45 for a 10000mAh
He’s using a phone named ‘PocoPhone’. He told me it’s $300 on Amazon . He bought it specifically to use for Pokemon Go. It has a built-in feature that allows for split apps to be played simultaneously. Androids have something similar, however he said that splitting apps does not work as well on them.
