It's been out for about three days now! If you read it, I really encourage submitting a review, if you have the time, as reviews will inform other consumers the book is released!

You might want to give this book a try- How to Write Light Novels and Webnovels.

It covers the basics of the different sub-genres that make up progression fantasy and will act as a primer for you to create your own works.

In addition to that, read lots of Xianxia stories like the good ones recommended here in other comments.

Uplifting fics? I know of a few.

Accomplishments of a Duke's Daughter, a manga about a jilted noblewoman who remembers her past life as a modern Japanese woman just as her engagement is broken with the crown prince of her country. She goes back to her territory to change the standards of living of her people entirely, mostly with the power of chocolate and modern bookkeeping. There's also a web novel that hasn't been officially localized, to my knowledge.

Ascendance of a Bookworm, a Japanese web novel about a reincarnated librarian who starts out by reinventing paper just to ensure she can have books again. A bit slow-paced, but fun.

With This Ring, a DC fanfic mostly centering around the Young Justice series. The main character is a self-insert who becomes an Orange Lantern and tries to optimize his ring in a way that is frustratingly never done by the canon Green Lanterns. I'll warn that the author was apparently banned for espousing transphobic viewpoints, but the fic was more than two million words in when I last read it a couple of years ago before that happened.

Kinda in order. Keep in mind I don't read the translated Asian novels because most of the translations are hot garbage and I just can't get used to those.

Cradle from Will Wight- Excellent writing and plotline, it's what got me into this subreddit in the first place. No need to say any more, this is a stable of the sub.

Mother of Learning from Domagoj Kurmaic- Also really solid, the story is a few months away from finishing, highly recommend.

Metaworld Chronicles from Wutosama- The author took a generic isekai plotline and twisted it. The writing might not be completely as good as the others, but probably competing for personal enjoyment right up there with Cradle. It's not as popular as the others, but read the first few chapters and give it a shot if you want.

Arcane Ascension from Andrew Rowe- Very solid too, but slightly inferior to Cradle imo. Probably because I read Cradle first. Honestly, the book is quite forgettable since I don't remember the plotline, but I still remember it being good.

The Traveler's Gate Trilogy from Will Wight- It gets really wordy at times, and I get confused by the plot sometimes because I get impatient and my eyes skip a few lines or so. Still solid, but the weakest one out of the ones I've read.

One More Last Time by Eric Ugland - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HS2MP8D/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tkin_p1_i2

MC is in a crazy time crunch to get into the game world and chooses a bunch of settings more or less at random breaking aspects of the game. More than that though it's a very well written and edited series (including a little meta poking fun at the genre). Highly recommended.
