I do. There are some techniques for making it easier. One is to frequently check whether you are awake or asleep during the day. This habit carries over into dreams because it is a habit. You then have a chance to notice you're not in normal reality.... cause, you know, the giant caterpillar or whatever.

Another one is to resolve to look at your hands in a dream and take control of them. Usually we sort of flow along with dreams and don't have conscious control. Having a resolution of sorts that you make while awake can trigger your consciousness in a dream. I think it might also help to get in the habit of checking your hands every so often while awake, and consciously doing some kind of exercise with them. Then when you've resolved to do the same in a dream, you have two things reinforcing the likelihood of realizing you are dreaming.

Mugwort might also be somewhat helpful. You can put the essential oil in a warmer for a while before sleeping. A lot of people use it to make more memorable, vivid dreams, and it can help you wake up in a dream, so to speak, if that's your goal. Not entirely necessary though.

Here is a probably-useful book about people using lucid dreaming without even necessarily being interested in psychic or occult things: https://smile.amazon.com/Committee-Sleep-Scientists-Athletes-Solving/dp/0982869509?smdm-noredirect=true

"Want to know why your dog shreds your slippers but ignores his designer toys? Does your pooch really want a puppy for companionship, or are you delusional?  The Original Dog Tarot is an entertaining, tongue-in-jowl deck of tarot cards and accompanying book affectionately written for dog lovers who want to divine their canine's mind. The 30 cards are a takeoff on the traditional tarot; they're divided into the Major Barkana and Minor Barkana. Each card offers advice for both canines and the humans in their lives. You don't have to be familiar with traditional tarot to use this deck. It is a witty and wise stand-alone oracle for anyone who has given up mastering the techniques of  The Dog Whisperer."

No problem. If you're interested in self-realization, I highly recommend The Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita; short reads, but very powerful and ancient systems of self-examination and inquiry (the linked translations are, in my opinion, the best formatted and done, with a stellar introduction for those unfamiliar with the text). Additionally, I'd like to leave you with a quote about dreams that left a very strong impact on me:

As 4th century BCE Daoist philosopher, Chuang Tzu, said: “Chuang Tzu once dreamed that he was a butterfly fluttering here and there, going wherever he pleased. He was totally unaware of Chuang Tzu. A sudden awakening left nothing else but Chuang Tzu himself, who did not know anything about his being a bufferfly. It is therefore unknown whether it is Chuang Tzu who dreamed of being a bufferfly or if it is a butterfly who dreamed of being Chuang Tzu. The butterfly and Chuang Tzu are completely different entities, and it is called transformation when an entity becomes another.”

Hey! I'm a Christian and from the Christian sense, it sounds like you could perhaps be operating in the spiritual gift of prophecy (through dreams, visions, trances, etc.) but also it appears that there could be a struggle here as well.

If I could encourage you, would you consider reading this book?

Jack Deere - the Beginners Guide to Prophecy

And if you're interested, I'd encourage you to watch this conference:

The Convergence Conference - Sam Storms

These are very strong names in Christianity right now and this material is solid from the Christian standpoint.

Living in Oklahoma all my life I've come across a LOT of religious people that claim to have the ear of God Almighty and threaten you with hell, fire and brimstone. They never once consider that perhaps God is actually speaking to many more people than just them....for if they consider that, we don't need them. Hmmm

I've worked for decades to reconcile my experiences with a loving, caring higher power that I choose to call God, Source Energy, or any number of other terms with the hell, fire and brimstone messages that have been a large part of my life. It wasn't easy at first but once I realized that God does indeed love us all, not matter what we've done, and is 100% there for us it completely changed my experiences.

Here's a book that I absolutely LOVE because it helped me start putting all those messages I heard back in my childhood in the proper perspective.

Let me see am I going to believe the feelings in my lying heart, my experiences and numerous confirmations throughout the years or what someone else tells me? It's not a hard choice today but it was growing up.

Here's the thing tho - we're all on different journeys and Christina is no different. I've learned over the years that I don't have to FIX anyone anymore. They still have free will as do I and I'll just wish them well and be on my way.

For me it was just something I was born doing apparently. Most of the time I had no idea that it was a spirit. They look like normal people to me 99% of the time. What did come hard for me was hearing and understanding them. It was like watching a silent movie that way. It's only been in the past 10 years maybe that they talk much to me. It's a muscle albeit one of the mind. You have to have one to be able to use it but if you do you keep using it the better you get at it.

I caution you though. This is not all fun and games. When you are beginning at this work there are a lot of things out there that love psychics who are not experienced. They will try to fool you and use you. There a lot of books out there about basic psychic self-defense. Some of the techniques in them are worth trying. Centering, shielding, it's really important when you are developing a medium's skill. Channeling is dangerous at any skill level I think, can be. You knock on doors you can't always know who's on the other end or always close them by yourself. Be careful.

One thing I've learned is to trust my gut more than my eyes. Not everything is as it appears. Some things appear fine but they set off a radar inside so I look with a bit more caution and I realize that what I am talking to isn't who it presented itself as. To me spirits are almost always solid, and whole. Some of the other things I've seen, not so much. They may look solid at first glance but they're missing something if you look close enough and that will trigger that internal warning. You challenge it and their facade will eventually crumble and they may even get nasty on you. Which is why I don't suggest people mess with being a medium until they've learned to ground and protect themselves.

Honestly some people who are very open should never do this kind of work. It really depends upon how well the individual can learn to keep things they don't want out while letting only the good things in. Being a medium is not just about seeing spirits etc. Some of what you will encounter will want more than that. Some people have the ability to be a channel but they don't have the ability to discern at will and that can get you into big trouble. Some spirits lie about who they are to get you to pay attention to them. They want to experience life through you and some of them can be very persistent about trying to reel you in. If you meet a dead person or a spirit guide and it starts telling you how uniquely special you are? Starts romancing you mentally? Run.

The late Joe Fisher wrote a very vivid cautionary tale about his experiences with channels, mediums, spirit guides, and the like. What the book doesn't tell you is that the man's end may well have come from his explorations in this field. There are some very questionable things about his death. His book made a lot of people nervous at the time. It's a heck of a read though and I always suggest it as required reading to anyone intent upon messing with this end of things...

I would recommend keeping a journal of your dreams and the events that come true. You might enjoy reading and contributing to /r/precognition

I just commented on someone's very interesting precognitive dream: https://www.reddit.com/r/precognition/comments/aqnn8s/dreamt_a_dog_turned_up_later_as_art/

Precognitive dreams are often associated with déjà vu (previously seen). You could also call it déjà rêve (previously dreamed).

Here's a brief quote from my book called The Oneironauts: "If you sleep eight hours a night with two hours of dreaming, where 0.1% of dreaming represents experiences of the future, this means that every 24 hours you experience 7.2 seconds of a future time. Over your lifetime, you will have experienced over 50 hours living in the future."

One of my best friends committed suicide, and about 5 years later, I suddenly heard her voice in my head. She told me, "I'm sorry it took me so long. I can't stay long - I'm just here to help you rebuild your heart a bit." I heard her for about a week, and then she was gone. She never explained where she was or why it took so long for her to reach out...but I suspect souls have their own paths and timelines. There's actually an interesting book called "Journey of Souls" by Dr. Newton (https://www.amazon.com/Journey-Souls-Studies-Between-Lives/dp/1567184855) that may help you - it describes what may happen between lives for a soul. While my guides said it only gets part of the picture, it's still interesting and comforting nonetheless. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I understand where you're coming from. There's so much emphasis on correct posture in the techniques associated with this kind of work, it gives the impression that the disabled might as well not bother. It's just that the instructions are written for the widest possible audience and assume the capabilities of the 'average' or 'normal' person.

It's worth remembering though, that in many shamanic societies disability was seen as a sign of suitability for this work. Although traditionally passed orally from shaman to shaman, there are now some excellent books on shamanic practice. I recommend Jan Fries' Visual Magick. There's a free Pdf here. Not everything he suggests will be possible for you, but you can adapt things to suit. And that's the thing - you may have to pick and choose across traditions, taking a piece from here, a piece from there, until you have something that works for you.

Some are of the opinion that this is in some way disrespectful, or even dangerous, but if you tread carefully, follow intuition, and your intent is to work for the good of all (rather than mere self interest) you will find something that works for you. Nobody is shut out from this; the universe will find you a way if you work with it. The pain and frustration you have to deal with, can be used to your advantage; disability forces us to confront our deepest fears in ways that the able bodied can, and usually do, sidestep with ease.

You will have to accept your situation, yes. But there's real magic in that surrender; it changes your experience quite radically. Equanimity is a wonderful thing - nothing has changed, everything is different. You may even find that, blasphemous as it sounds, you eventually feel gratitude for the challenges your situation presents you with.

I have a balance disorder; dizziness, vertigo, and a truly slapstick lack of physical coordination. My skeletal structure has been warped by it, compressing nerves and blood vessels in my neck, resulting in migraines, and the loss of most of the sensation and function in my left hand; I know what it's like to be rigid and immobile.

My SO has limited sensation and movement following the removal of a spinal tumour in childhood, so I have some idea what you're dealing with. Bits of vertebrae were removed and the remaining bone fused together, but it was done as an emergency operation, at a time when spinal surgery was less advanced. He's dosed up on Tramadol right now, trying to sleep off a bout of crippling nerve pain.

Both of us have struggled with despair, and there are times when life still seems impossibly daunting. But it's never more than we can handle, we always learn something useful, and whenever things look hopeless the universe provides some small miracle. Even my SO is beginning to have a little faith that, so long as we continue to try, the universe will find a way to give us what we need.

I haven't exactly gone snooping through your comment history, but I had a quick look. Things are bad right now, but you're very strong, much stronger than you realize, and despite appearances (and possibly the odd human being), everything's on your side. You can't do things the same way as everyone else perhaps, but you can follow the gentle prompting of the world around you to something uniquely yours.

This is what I used!
(The Wild Unknown Tarot -book and deck by Kim Krans)
I used this deck, and also used the app "Golden Thread Tarot" for reversal definitions (google play store for the app, unsure of whether it's available for iOS or not)
-The app also lets you log your tarot readings, and your feelings associated with the overall reading. Best Tarot app I've found yet.
Good luck on your journey, and Namaste, friend!!

Uh, I think you are exactly right. That is pretty much in line with my belief system. You should really check out what they are beginning to discover in the realm of quantum mechanics that is validating much of this. Not sure who "people" is, but you might want to really evaluate their thought systems.

Try this book: Reality Unveiled: The Hidden Keys of Existence That Will Transform Your Life

It might help. This fellow really did his homework, and you will find loads of other books and scientific studies to view as well. This will all make you feel even more secure in what you are thinking because you will have facts with which to back it up.

To start I really don’t recommend doing any complicated spreads. It gets overwhelming. Just do a three card spread for each eventual outcome or person.

I would start with either blending cards or if you want you can even do something that’s past present future on a situation so you could get some background information on it to try to understand what could happen in the future if that makes sense? You can also do a three card reading and do it as of this or that reading.

Dusty white has a great work book that teaches you how to blend cards for a new shared meaning.

I've taken certain measures to avoid fluoride; I've switched toothpastes, drink distilled water, use shower filters.

In all, this has helped, but the supplements are what makes the difference. When I take Fermented Skate Liver Oil my abilities open up ten-fold. Any supplement with "Activator X" will stimulate the pineal gland and have the same effect, but this is the only one I have tried personally and it is by far the most important and noticeable of all the changes I have made. Seriously, I can dump all my other supplements and still have a marked improvement in my abilities from this alone.

I haven’t mediated regularly in a long time. I do it now for helping me calm myself when I need to. I think some of my experiences freaked me out a little bit. But buzzing in the ears (and ringing) is common and is said to be associated with exiting the body- this is very accurate in my experience, although ear ringing is also associated with passing out. I recommend you read this book for guidance on astral travel as it’s the best one I’ve found. It talks about the trance phase and gives excellent techniques. I only ever did once, maybe twice- but I had many lucid dreams around this time as well. I say maybe twice because one time it seemed to go wrong and one time it seemed to go right. I asked for guidance and protection the time it went right.

The irony is amusing.

You asked, I answered. Generally when you make an assertion, you back it up. The reader shouldn't be the one to prove what someone is saying. I'm not "disclaiming" anything. I'm asking you to explain what this even means, and in doing so actually provide a source for them, or to prove that they're related in some form.
Also, I'm not sure what that quote is implying.

Anyways:

The implication here is that they all seem to end on the same date, right? Or they're related in some form? Well that's what I assumed, kinda why I asked for never mind.

For example, I can't find anything regarding the Egypt statement aside from a single obscure book that, from Google, doesn't mention a date.

The Tibeten one is interesting but no date. It also describes an invasion and degradation of India which in the end ushers a golden age. Related how? Well I did try asking.

It's not surprising that Maya and Cherokee cultures had influenced each other in some form, much in the same way European cultures influenced those in west Asia and vice versa.

Though interesting here is that both the Tibeten and Mayan prophecies predict an end to old ways and beginning of something new (yes, 2012 being the end of the world was false, regardless of it being the wrong date or not).
The Maya never thought it to be the end of the world. They thought it to be the end of a period.

Is it a coincidence they're related in some extremely vague form? Well given the amount of prophecies and cultures in the world, I'd say yes.

The Pueblo comment is where my assumption comes from. "It's" is what? Is it referring to a single event? Are all of these supposed to be related? They're random prophecies stickied on a single piece of paper with no relation at all, and we're just supposed to somehow piece it together, because reasons.
Speaking of though, the fifth world idea is shared by a lot of Native American cultures - since again they obviously influence eachother - and each culture has a different idea on it.
How is this related to anything on the pic? No idea.

The Dogon thing is controversial. Related how? No idea. Same for Aztecs. Just a random prophecy.

Then there's the Inca one which is....a short story?
Or obscure sites reciting a random prophcy.

Kali Yuga, a random prophecy. Zulu, Maori, random prophecies.

In what way are any of these related? They're not. They're simply not, aside from American prophecies that obviously influence each other because uh, yah know, they're isolated and close to each other.

On another note, your assertion that it isn't 2017 is extremely confusing. Ignoring the whole reason we switched calendars and the fact that the Vatican switched in the 1500s', how exactly does it make sense? Why is the Julian, which I assume you're referring to but you won't explain, correct? Why is that the one true calendar? Why is that the calender all of these prophecies somehow refer to? Why isn't the Armenian calendar the one? Or the Korean calendar? It seems like an attempt to save face after we all survived an incorrect end of the world prophecy for 2012 (hint: The Maya didn't believe that either).

So yeah, sources? How are these related in any way shape or form. The majority of them don't even mention a date, and I'm still not sure what Hopi is.

This is my answer to your question. I apologise it wasn't what you expected but alas, here it is.
